Trying to leave the third cave but I get stuck at the door with "..." repeatedly popping up above my head when I try to exit. Am I missing something? Is this a bug? Is there a known workaround?

Oh yeah and if you ever consider having a bad end but don't want it to fuck with the flow of the game you can always include them as dreams/nightmares. Just add a third option when you go back to the bed for Mere to think about what has happened or events that happened in the past then when she sleeps she can dream the event without a gameover. You can even have her confidence increase when she wakes up if it ever becomes a measurable stat.

That is fine, just a suggestion because I think I read somewhere in the topic that you had considered it at one point. To be honest I dislike bad ends in general but sometimes the h-scenes are pretty good. :p

I think you're just supposed to wait a second or two and then proceed down out of the cave. The .... is supposed to be the time the magic shield needs to power down.

I see, that makes sense but for some reason I can't get out. I just get ... repeatedly. :(

Maybe I'll go back to an earlier save.

The issue is really odd... As there were no reports and clearly all of the players got past this point... Even weirder is that there are no triggers in this one cave... It should work every single time without meeting any conditions...

From the spot - you get '...' appearing in an endless loop, or you just can't move to a lower tile after the '...' is finished?


As for the bad ends yet again: I'm not saying 'no' in general. I just don't consider it any vital part. It's something that may or may not be added after the game is completed.

From the spot in the pic I can try to exit but cannot move further downwards. I can press Z to get the ... to pop up. I can move up one tile to get another ... to pop up. :\
From up 1 tile I can then move left and right to walk around the cave. I'll give it another go tomorrow.

This should actually be one of the easier missions... There are more than four opportunities to persuade boys to doubt Agraar, you just need to succeed in four of them. If you REALLy can't figure it out PM me.

I think I found something similar to this. But in the second cave. I didn't talk to Kraflar and just bought the blood from his extras. Then when I went in and read all 4 of the glyphs she kept saying there's another one and I couldn't get out.

Xil, version 1.12? because I believe I've fixed the issue there.

Nope, it was quite a long time ago. But I forgot about it until I saw the above bug and thought it was the same.

I was wondering if someone could help a stuck guy out...

So I got her fucked by the shaman and then I gathered all the women to escape.
The men who were guarding the exit all buggered off to somewhere and now when I try to leave it tells me to hurry up and go to Bonatievour's cave.
When I go to his cave I get the message "I have no further reason to go to either Bonatie or Shaman."



I really enjoyed the game so far and I want to know how the story ends (or begins :eek:)!

A game bug. I have done a quick fix. Try downloading the alternate version it should get you through the troublesome part (your current save file should work just fine). Sorry for the trouble and enjoy the rest of the game ;)

Hazze, nice game! Interesting start to the series. I'm also in the boat of the game lagging a bit. I'll try this new version and see how it runs. Basically, get a lag every 3 seconds or so, kind of weird.

Thought I'd let you know, I added two free lag scripts (event lag and animation lag) in an attempt to solve the issue, no luck. I also added a free text skip script. Let me know if you'd like them. Very easy to insert and use.

i actually had no lag with the 1.13 version, which made the game really more fluid, it hasn't closed randomly as well so bonus points for that.

and if you expect anyone to play the other routes, the skip text function would be a life saver, im currently replaying the game (escaped with everyone the first try, now im going solo) and specially for the first half of the game it became a tedious chore...

on another note, what are the "routes" im supposed to play?

-escaping with everyone:done
-escaping solo:current
-i guess siding with sorv or kaflar or failing a mission????

Thank you very much, Yummy. It means a lot, coming from a fellow game maker :)

As for the lagging part, I can currently just recommend alternative version, where I got rid of some parallel events, such as thunder bolts in the background and so on. It works much better with that.

As for the scripts, thanks for the offer and I could even consider it, but the issue for me is that on my PC on the alternative version lagging doesn't occur (at least during the first hour of playing) so I can't fix it by simple fixes and testing. I'm not sure if the script would help if I couldn't test it and just implemented it blindly?

Also, on a private note, I will come by to check your progress when I find some time, because I tried it once, but it was quite some time ago ;)

Actually the MAIN routes are: 1. Follow Kraflar to the final act. 2. Follow Sorv to the final act. 3. Enter the final act through Kid's stay in the cave. - It is possible to have a save file right before all three routes become possible and just replay the final act part :)

Going solo or with a full squad affects your final rank (9 possible ranks) and final notes about what happened with the characters, as you will be given only notes about the ones you recruited.
