There's quite a delay between Twitch messagers, right? Because I feel like when I point out directions, it's like you receive them like 20 seconds later. :p

There is a bit of a delay between when something happens in game and when the stream catches up. If memory serves, the delay is in the 15-20 second range.

It is a good 10 to 20 seconds, give or take. I think you can lessen it slightly to be nearer to 5 to like 12 seconds, but it will mean lower quality for the stream cos it takes more computer power to do it.

I made my appearance and let people know you killed the smithie rat in DS1, but otherwise I'm not interested in FTL gameplay, so I didn't stick around.

, and today may be the day we fight Gwyn, not sure yet. And I didn't know there were more than one pic, Stuffie. Will have to look them over after the stream today.

You don't even know what kind of effort was done to get you invaded by me.

As soon as I joined the stream and saw you're playing DS2, I created a new character and rushed through the "tutorial", picking up that one red eye orb that allows to invade.
While you were around the first bonfire in the Forest of the Fallen Giants, I used the orb, hoping to invade you - and I failed, invading someone else who actually shut down their game once I invaded. Coward!

At this point, a co-watcher of your stream talked me up and told me he can provide me with red eye orbs to keep trying to invade you. To meet up with him, I actually had to farm 5,5k souls for the "co-op ring" to make it work. But after farming up the amount, getting the ring and waiting for it to happen, my helper had to leave the stream/game for real life reasons.

SO CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY MF!

With DS2's soul memory matchmaking, it is a lot harder to stay in range for invasion (or co-op). It was already hard enough to play my fresh invasion character while making sure MF's character stays within my memory-reach for invasion - or at least that's what I was afraid of.

In short: I wanted to invade him for the lulz, and someone from the stream chat actually tried to help me out, but it didn't work out. Good thing for MF, because he would've not been able to win any invasion duel thanks to a bow! :p

Heh, I'd have welcomed the invasion on DS2 to be honest. It feels... honestly, a lot Lot easier than DS1. Almost like it's lulling me into a false sense of security. :p

Alot of it is the sense for danger you develop playing the souls games. Don't worry though, there's plenty of challenge and cheap-shit bosses for you later in the game, they leveled out the difficulty curve to be more gradual instead of just tossing you right into the shit.

Sadly, these streams are badly timed for me. Else I would make #invadeMindflayer a thing.
