"Seems you haven't read Mak'rien's guide to bondage techniques, where he explains that Victorian education is a sub-fetish in bondage culture, centered around err, well, a strict education, usually by a female dominant. Yeah I know my stuff, hah!" She flexed.

"Awww.. now I feel bad for having to smack you though, finally someone that gives air magic the respect it deserves. Why indeed, air elemental types are not as strong in offense as fire, or defense as earth, nor are they as versatile as water with its many forms, but they are the best at using speed support magic, plus if you use your spells precisely you can have offensive and defensive capabilities rivaling the other elements, if in only short bursts." She was happy to chat on, positively beaming as if she had just been praised, before adding.:
"Well, yeah, but you -knowing- I can create huge, short lived bursts of speed with my Zephyr spell, to further enhance the speed the Heart of Rashemen grants me doesn't exactly mean you can keep up better, now, does it?" She showed her tongue in the direction she thought her librarian ally had moved in, before spinning around quickly, slapping her bum as well.

"Huh? AHahahah. bwahahha.. I get it.. caught wind.. haaaah... oh you'll catch my wind if you don't watch out." She chuckled, more into puns than encyclopedic knowledge it seemed. "Not just a wind-mage though. Don't underestimate the Wings of Hope and her agents."
She did eep a bit at the threat of being made to organize books all about however. That was truly worrysome! "Years ago, huh? So you finally managed to organize them yourself? You know, if you throw them at people less, that'd totally help the sorting along." She noted, feistily.

"Hey, if you wanna have some lewd fun I'm all up for it, for that I want those missing pages." She nodded. "And no weird things like Missionary or the lights out while at it." She added.

"Battle-schmattle, all tactical you prattle, come on now time to tattle, I'm the farmer and you are the chattel!"
She posed, clearing her throat. "You know, alright, moral victory for the rapping, but how do you do this voice thing." She mused, putting one hand onto the ground, almost exploratively.
"And hold on.. this is almost like you use.. yes, that's shadow magic you use too. Aha!.. Well, I'm a sucky opponent for you then, many of my kind are born with shadow magic." She turned around to the hand, noticing it,.. but not what it deposed.

"No shadowy-grabbing.. need to switch to a defensive variant it seems. Cloak of darkness!" She declared, shadows crawling up on her, similiar to Deva, but not as intense.
"Huh, is that a fly? Eeep! owie! shoo." Once she noticed the fly, it was an easy gesture of wind-magic to woosh it away, of course, with the Aeva rubbing the pin-prick of potential inky poison, hoping that destroying the fly was enough.. she was more worried of someone stealing her blood for blood-magic, after all.

"The heck is that, that's not shadow magic.. uhmn it's.. realm control? And book-magic. Never seen anything like that. hrmnn. Book magic... uh... Welp, I'll just have to be faster than whatever it does and shadow-walk back to the Twilight paradise. Aha, the doggie found you." She noted, through the link. Well, her mission was not to battle the librarian, it was to find information. She looked at the fly, and then focused. The Librarian, if she judged things right, was the prepare and observe type, so the shadow-mastiff would make for a great distraction.. so she could try using her higher level abilities now. Before that fly, if it did poison her, could cause any harm.
"Speed of Zephyr. Step of shadows." She said, her form blurring. Having been born with two innate magic types had one more secret that perhaps the librarian knew of as well, but hopefully did not expect. Ayven was moderatly adequate at two types of magic.. and in exchanged, had learned to combine them both into what she called her own little magic. "Ghost-Step." She declared, floating, like an ectoplasmic spectre, straight through the wall of the librarians office, expecting the door magically trapped.. but few trapped their walls! She looked around curiously, re-solidifying with her magic wearing out, and panting briefly. Shadow-walking the whole body was taxing at the best of times.

Meanwhile.
The Doggie was not, infact, a nice doggie. It was a creature of shadows and usually quite evil desires, in this case, slightly... adjusted by Ayven to be more lustful than anything. It growled and approached the half-hidden librarian, sniffing in her general direction and growling again if she moved overly, pushing her further down and with her back to the wall with its snout, inhaling her scent and panting..
That said, it was not that strong a summoning, technically not that much stronger than a normal wolf in the darkness, and far more vunerable in the light.
Still, if the librarian sought not to escape or counter it, the beast would lustfully growl and interpose itself upon her, 'distracting' her while Ayven peered around in the office. She didn't believe the librarian to be so impractical as to carry pages on herself all time, where they could easily be bent or damaged. No, rather, she expected something like a Drawer 'hidden secret pages, plz don't look'.. well, perhaps not that obvious. But orderly types were so predictable.
She scratched the fly-sting again, absent-mindedly.

"Yes, dying and reviving oneself over and over is a bad idea. You risk attracting things you don't want to attract. Then again, the same should be true for some of the things Tome's do, just that you'd less attract spectres of death, and more slimey-tentacley things from the outer-worlds for weakening reality over and over." Deva mused. ".. and not the fun kind of Slimey tentacles." She added.

Deva.. actually did not try to avoid looking at Moira's nipples.. the hat could hide her eyes well enough, for all kinds of purposes, so she enjoyed the sight, which.. lead to a healthy flow of blood to her lower regions. She made a mental note to remove the cock again,.. but without magic that was trickier. Her body had been like this before, at the desires of her wife, so it didn't registre as corruption..
She cleared her throat, ever so subtly, she needed the blood-flow in her head.

"Right, right, so few people as the tome-folks can't reasonably sustain enough faith to create a death-godess, but you're like a pseudo-godess of death.. very territorial, serious." Seductive. But some death deities had that going for them as well, if not as many. Bones and scythes were the classically accepted outfitting.

When Moira noted Deva ending a few hours from now, there was a subtly glance to the flower she wore. Deva had to be careful, right now. Drowning was easier when you were underwater already and were just holding your breath skillfully. She watched the stone-rising for Moira, nonsuprised. Planar dominion.
"And you should be made aware that the rules never stopped me from doing the right thing.. but I'll be happy to seek out the spirits here if you cannot tell me what needs to be told." She shrugged, getting a little tired of being all serious and deciding to half-turn to innocently adjust her dress. I was not designed to contain bulges.

"It's wise to protect the dead, yes. A skilled enough necromancer, or even more skilled healer could simply tear the dead back to life. I'd rather not see what a create-greater undead spell enhanced by a tome can do." She nodded.
"And Nathaniel made sure to give you err.. .Well, I like his attitude." If you had to make an eternal guardian of some place, why not make it a pretty one?
"Interesting, so I'll have to track down two tomes plus Cyliarra's." She shrugged.
"Their potential for good IS as great as their potential for evil, but that argument is irrelevant. The sun is also a warrior. Knowledge can also destroy." She quoted, but nodded, happy to 'release' Moira to speak with an example-soul of the factions... well, if philosophical arguments would bring her anyway, that was.

Deva wandered through the.. well, the neutral graveyard. "I like this. This is nicer. Oh hello over there." She waved. "You need a hat. Anyway." Deva tipped her chin.
"No, no, I've not come to ask any questions. Here." She pulled forth her tome. "I've come to let you two reminisce. And well, technically I am dying right now, allowed me to circumvent your seal." She chuckled.
"The thing about the greatest heroes I guess is.." She chuckled and pulled back her hat, showing an expression that was not to dissimilar to Spera's, but mingled with a calm understanding and.. hope.
"They're really bad at dying. Anyway. No." She nodded.

"There is no point in asking you anything, because anyhting you'd have tried, I can guess. And anything I could ask, you'd have already thought to ask yourself. Your path lead to failure and regret, so I need to find another path. Instead, what I'll do is, I'm going to call forth one of the great spirits of each faction. I'll ask them my questions.. and then I'll find the truth by looking at what they have to tell me. I figured this place was the best for a meeting.. because I am waaay too lazy to ask three times over."

She nodded, and tilted her head, speaking to empty air. This was Moira's realm, if she did her job proper, there was little point in shouting about. She could just hear whatever she pleased and was too polite not to show it most of the time.
"Moira, would you kindly arrange my meeting with three souls and tell them different things each? I'm aware that lying is not a favoured among beings such as you, but I want to remind you that.. if I can get in here.. others as clever as me could too. Let's not have that."
She nodded.
"Tell Nathaniel I hope to speak with him, for something exeptionally powerful is poisoning a tome-keepers actions, powerful enough that it took me and my tomes life to deal with just the side-effects. .. and I need to stop it.
See who among the White Legion is willing to speak to me, tell them that I'm not sure what the right thing to do is and if you please could find me one that is both knowledgable and represents their outlook well...
Same for the Black masters or whatever they're called, but tell them instead that I'm not quite sure how to best wield my powers."

Deva looked down at herself again, checking her flower, one of the outermost leafes of it having begun to wilt by now.
"And err.." She lifted two fingers, putting them together. "If you could fold this realm to make sure they get here fast-ish, I'd be much obliged. This is my first time being dead, I'm afraid I'll do something emberassing.. like stay dead." She chuckled, stepping into a slightly more open area, happy to give her tome and its ex-wielder some time.. or aquire the same back if Spera was done, letting her listen as she pleased, but having decided that if the tome chose both of them, they both must have tried similiar things. Questioning Spera would be more pleasant than the light or the dark, but it would not give Deva what she -needed-.

Then, when met with the three she requested, taking them in curiously, she'd comment:
"Hello, my name is Deva Undon.
As you can see, I like to go far to ask a few questions, so lets hope this is worth it. I know Nathaniel already, so please, introduce yourselfs."

She nodded, then continued. "There are currently a total of at most four tomes left in the world of the living. Two wielded, two lost. I hold one, and know anothers wielder, so consider speaking to me equivalent to speaking to more than half of, if not more than all of your own sides forces in gravity.
What I mean is.. choose your words wisely, for a tale is often judged by its ending.. and depending on what you say, this end might be brought forth by me. Please do not argue with one another and if you know not of an answer, just remain silent."

She nodded.
"My first question is the following: I'm currently locked in a conflict with another Tome-Wielder, Cyliarra. What's troublesome, however, is that said wielder seems to see other outcomes for worlds that I know have not happened this way. Every victory turned to despair. Every sucess, personal or in a group, turned into failure. This can not be in anyone's interest, can it? Have any of you encountered such a phenomenon before?"

She mused, but a brief glance at her flower had her deciding to continue on. "I'll just get all of my questions off of my chest before digesting what I just heard. My next question is.. these tomes. Who or what made them.. and whatfor? Certainly, you must have theorized about it. What gives them such power?" She mused. "They rely on a wielder, so it feels as if they are created. But what confuses me is that most beings that would have the power to create something like a tome would loathe to share their power. Even if the basic tome is relatively harmless, their near unlimited potential is something hard to do. Did the sides use the tomes to enhance them, perhaps?"

"This next question is primarly for the two sides, not Nathaniel: A simple question, really... why did your side lose? A personal curiosity."
She nodded, going on.:
"And this question is primarly by Nathaniel, who had the foresight to create this place, but I'll hear all of you, if you wish. I am aware that you've not been here for much of the confrontation, but looking back, before the conflict...

Have the tomes done more good or more harm? They escalated conflicts, but that is not their fault, innately. What I'm asking is, do you believe the tomes have the potential for peace, or are they innately too risky to a safe world?" Deva then chuckled.

"Haha.. but you must be wondering, who this talkative usurper of your book-happy history is, if any of you want to ask me something yourself.." She chuckled, and glanced over to Spera. Thinking about it, she could ask her about Cyliarra.. once the big questions here where answered.

"Oh my, you really are a well read person. I'm impressed, though even if it's a sub fetish of bondage culture, if neither end really uses any bondage and instead prefers the fantasy of 'kinky school teacher' then I'd personally not consider it to be a form of discipline or bondage." The Librarian stated, not personally caring for different classifications of fetish, she knew what it was that she liked and would simply indulge from there. She got enough information and classification from the endless library that she lived in, she didn't have to bring it into sex all the time.

"The 'weakest' magic is only ever weak because it can do so much more. Fire can burn, but wind? Wind can cut, lift, destroy, protect, there's so much more that one can do with the power of wind when compared to other magic. Sure, it may not be the best at one certain use, but it makes up for it with the other things that it could do." Though the Librarian would only chuckle to herself when she heard that Ayven had understood her little play on words, glad that at least her opponent was smart enough to catch on to her rather silly little jokes she so often enjoyed making. You tended to get wordy when you spent your entire day reading books and learning more and more new things. "Trust me, after everything that I've seen your creator do, there's no plans here of underestimating the many, many tricks that you might have up your sleeves. Honestly, I'd not even be going against you if it weren't for... Err... That's not important..." She would quickly deflect, realizing that she was about to say something that she really shouldn't have. "Or... Counter offer, we have lewd fun together WITHOUT worrying about any of those silly pages... Not like we need them, come on... Missionary? Bleh... You think with all the positions and fantasies I've read in here I'd want to try MISSIONARY? Pssh..." There had been all sorts of things she had fantasized about, and maybe would have a nice little angel to try those things with.

"The voice thing... Oh... You mean this... BEWARE MY MIGHTY POWER IN MY LIBRARY MORTAL! THIS IS MY REALM! OOOOOOOOHHHH! BEWAAAARREE!" Suddenly her voice would boom throughout the library as though a giant and powerful being were speaking now, her just ampifying her voice now, something she did sometimes to scare off intruders.

The paper fly would be sent off, cut in two by the wind magic, but then those pieces would start folding and reforming, creating two smaller paper flies that would start flying after Deva, one moving to her left, the other moving right, both of them trying to inject her with more of that strange inky poison, looking for an opening to rush in and bite her. It would take a moment before the effects of the ink would kick in... but for a brief moment Ayven would feel... a strange sense of belonging as she stood in the library halls, like she belonged here. But it would be easy to shake off or ignore, perhaps best that she not let those flies bite into her again though... Which might be tough as a few more flies came out of a shadow portal that the Librarian had made, starting to buzz a little and fly after the angel.

Though she would manage to get a little bit away from the flies as she went into the Librarian's office, which seemed to not be trapped on the inside, though there'd be an issue that the office was full of books and writings, making it just as tough to find wherever the pages might be. However, if she looked around a little bit, Ayven would find a small metal safe underneath one of her desks, locked up tight, likely holding some important things for the Librarian. There were also a few filing cabinets around the office that might also contain the missing pages, either way the angel would have to make a choice soon, as she could hear the small swarm of flies making their way over to the office, able to move through the library moderately quickly thanks to their familiarity with their surroundings.

Meanwhile, the Librarian seemed almost paralyzed by fear when she saw the intimidating dog, not exactly knowing that the beast had been changed slightly for the sake of being lewder, only knowing that the shadow mutt would be very dangerous in this situation. "L-Let's just keep calm... I-I'm sure I have something that you might like... J-Just don't hurt me, I-I-I can give you treats if you want..." She would look side to side, trying to find a quick escape route before she was pressed back against the wall by the dog, shaking a bit in fear before trying to push the dog away and making a run for it, pushing the dog with all of her might... which wasn't much really... and running as fast as she could to get away from the creature, trying to take the fastest path she could to her office since she knew of where to find some things there...

When Ayven rubbed the place of the sting, she would feel a burst of pleasure run up and down her spine, the ink taking a bit more effect when the bite was rubbed, spreading through her blood a little bit faster. A feeling of happiness, warmth, and most of all pleasure would spread through her from the point of the bite. A thought would pop into her mind unbidden... she could just wait a few extra seconds, give those paper creatures a chance to catch up... maybe it would even feel that good all over again... After all, she wasn't bleeding or all that injured from the last bite, maybe it wouldn't be too dangerous to let another bite get through, she could easily get away again if she so wished... Though she could also fight those thoughts down if she focused on it, but even that would take up a bit of time, giving those flies the chance to get a little bit closer to the office, chasing after her.

"Y.. yes, totally well read, definitly in many areas, not just this for.. specific reasons." The Aeva had answered about the bondage-y readup, smiling innocently. "I'm sure you can have some disciplining in there..." She nodded, hesitating briefly and pondering why she was talking about these topics with a librarian. Well, she had a mission to do!

"No..no.. do go on.. or don't. If you know my creator.. err.. know her -and- oppose me so vehemently, there's like five or six reasons for that tops, So I'mma just guess you work for the cloake-y one. That or one of those meanie law-bringers... got enough paperwork here for one, but you don't sound all like. We note your arrival at library location #18229. You will state your reason for invading. We are Modron. We are dumb." Thinking about it, Ayven realized, that also explained why someone so 'into' books was hiding informations about tomes, rather than try and get a go at them herself. "Anyway, don't you worry, I'm not that dangerous. You should propably ignore me, let me do my thing a lil here.." she nodded.
"Tell you what, I'ma fulfill my mission, then I come back, we have fun, I'll even help you clean up the chaos I made. a bit. perhaps... I might come when most of it's been cleaned up and claim credit. Anywhooo!" She cleared her throat innocently.

"Eeep!" Ayven eeped a bit at the enhanced voice, more easily shaken than her creator, simply due to having experienced less things like sudden loud imposing noises.
"Oh, great, thought I got rid of you flies." Ayven complained, looking left and right of her, not feeling all that different, she decided to simply lose the flies whens he past on into the librarians office. Sure, she could shadow-move them far away from her, but for that she had to catch one first. But who cared about silly little paper-gnats poking her again. She would lose them once she shifted through the wall, so Ayven accepted two more tiny ink-bites before phasing into the office.

She shook her head briefly. She most certainly did not belong in a library. Libraries were boring and.. not fun.. and.. full of books, most of which were, well, boring. She noticed with annoyance that more flies were after her.. well, she could just surround herself in a sphere of wind to ward them off, but right now, she felt like she was close enough to her goal to simply flee the flies and search for the pages in the librarians office.
"Graaah.. why is this place full of papers!"
She complained. This was searching for the hay in the haystack. She crossed her arms, trying to think of any spell that could help her.. while raising her hand, hoping to dissuade the fly-swarm from entering the office by erecting a wind-wall at the entrance. "Seriously, pursuing a wind-mage with little flying things, genius. Now then..." She stared at the papers, rubbing her forehead.

The shadow-dog meanwhile growled.. and tore at the librarians clothing, forcing her to sacrifice a good bit of it in exchange for freeing herself, after which the creature growled, seeming to enjoy it's hunt.. all towards the summoner of the spell.

Ayven was still trying to device a method of going through the sorting, or lackthereof of the papers, and hoping that her wind-wall was enough to simply keep further flies at bay, and her summoning to keep the Librarian occupied as blinked, after her absent-minded scratching. She gasped and shook her head at the suprising tingling of warm pleasure, with her casting a slightly lustful glance over at the flies, before shaking her head. Was that footsteps approaching? Well her summoned creature was A) not that bright and B) Didn't last forever. She needed a way to find those pages, fast. Sure, she could simply use ghost-step to reach into the locked up safe, but.. that felt like the first place anyone would look ... and those flies were not a serious concern, it seemed, anyway.. she felt good, nothing stopped her from fulfilling her duty, plus she had a spell that could help and replace her wind-wall.

She raised her hands, folding them in a complicated pattern, whispering: "Ghost style: Phantom winds." Really, it was a simple gust of wind spell, combined with a simple shadow-conjuration sodlifiying the darkness in the room into semi-solid strands, twirling through and throwing up all of the pages.. and some of the lighter books lying around, but in an oddly controlled manner, page by page flying up and revealing itself before Ayven. "Nope.. Nope.. lewd.. nope.. Nope.. oh my Lewd. But not helpful..."
She mused at the pages twirling past her, one hand lifted, a current of shadowy winds oozing out of it. At the same time, those currents tried to (after the splitting in half hadn't worked, non lethally), swat away the flies, more or less effectively. "Come on.. has to be here somewhere." She mused, deciding to risk being stung in exchange for quickly skim through all the papers about. "I know you're here little loose pages and I bet you're hidden among an unassuming stack of other stuff where no one that can't use paper-magic can find you quickly, well I got the next best thing.. aha! .. no.. advanced Origami. .. hrmnn.." Her winds quickly twirled through the pages of the book, before depositing it to her side on a 'looked through already' pile that quickly build up.

Meanwhile, the librarian was chased until about her office, almost.. before the shadowy-dog suddenly faded away! She of course knew that even the most powerful summoning spells had that particular weakness, often the duration a summoned creature could maintain indicated the strength of its summoner to a degree as well, which ment that Ayven wasn't that good at it. Then again, she seemed to rely on versatility spells and the rustling of winds coming from the owners office indicated that she was better at infiltrating places quickly.

"Librarian's code? .. bah, see that's where I'd have hidden them but no... Oh what about this, City of Injustice?" Ayven snatched up the next book, trying to ignore-shoo the flies from herself. "Wonder what thats about.. but I shouldn't peek.." Ayven mused and opened the book.. and immediatly blushed deeply at a slight snooping.. well.. that and she lifted her top, staring down at her soft, c-cup breast, where one of the flies had managed to sneak through her shadowy-windy defence....
And, distracted by the thoughts she had earlier, she only watched with a jolt of forbidden arousal as she saw the paper-creature pierce her skin, gasping ever so slightly, before leaning down and pulling it off of her, even if she briefly wondered how good it'd feel if that creature got to bite lower, onto her nipple.. or if more of it's friends snuck up on her.. or just -why- that lewd librarian in her skin tight outfit might plan for her... n-no! They were poisoning her, and she had a mission to complete!
She could hang out with Zaerga or any of the more.. dominant Aeva's afterwards, what could a weird librarian offer her that justified neglecting her mission! "These pages better be worth it." She noted, waving her hands, the winds around her intensifying.

"Well I can at least see that one part of you is stirring with life, darling... No need to hide it, I appreciate the compliment." Moira would say with a wink, apparently able to tell that the angel was aroused by her state of dress, and seeming to enjoy it. "Hmph... might have to go ask Nathaniel about why he didn't give me one of those... Looks like it might be fun." The grave keeper would chuckle, apparently getting onto a different line of thinking now that she had seen the things that were happening to the angel. "Trust me, I'm no 'goddess', I wasn't given that much of an ego to even want that kind of title." She would dismiss, not really caring about the kind of titles she was given, only wanting to focus on her duty and helping people.

"You may break any rules that you wish, unfortunately I am a being held together partially by the rules that I follow. Suffice to say, it's not that I WON'T break the rules, it's that I CAN'T break the rules." She commented, leaning back in her seat and waving her hand, causing a few small rocks to float around in a small circle as she contemplated the rules that she was not allowed to break. While she was given a lot of discretion to ensure that she wasn't forced into doing dumb things, there were still rules that she had to follow and guidelines that helped her decide what to do in certain situations. "Precisely what Nathaniel worried would happen, necromancy and resurrection would turn an already terrible conflict into a longer and far more drawn out affair... Though considering the way that things ended, perhaps this wasn't all that necessary. Oh, and you can go right ahead and say it, Nathaniel made it so that I was both attractive and very... revealing. He had some... specific tastes when making me. Still, I've been told that the others enjoy it quite a bit, so it worked out in the end." She explained, blushing just a little bit, apparently embarrassed that she was designed to be this sexual, but at the same time enjoying the ability to tease and arouse the more... lively... guests that she got in the graveyard.

Spera would raise an eyebrow when Deva said that she should wear a hat, giving a slightly amused smile. "I tried a hat before... Didn't work out with the rest of the look that I have going... Plus it was so tough dealing with hat hair all the time." She would say with a small chuckle, able to make jokes and smile with others even when she clearly didn't feel good about some of the things that had gone on in her life. But then she would look thoughtful when Deva offered the Tome to her, taking it and frowning a bit as she realized something. "Judging by the way you're acting, my friend lied to you about me... Or more accurately, spoke of me kindly when I asked them to be realistic..." "I-I'm sorry, Spera... But I couldn't say those things about you, not after everything we've been through..." The Tome would speak, sounding even more sad now that they had this small encounter. "New wielder... What is your name? Listen... I don't know the specifics of what my friend told you, but I doubt it's the honest truth about me. You stand before a murderer and a coward... One that brought death to nearly everyone you see here under the delusion that it was the only safe choice, and yet was too much of a coward to go all the way... A killer that couldn't even finish what she started... Couldn't bring myself to bring death to those close to me like I did all the others... 'The War Stopper' that played favorites because she was just too weak..." But as she said that, she closed her eyes and sighed, seeming to refocus herself, having gone off on that train of thought many times before. "Sorry... Had a lot of time to think of that little speech... Gets too sad sometimes when I think about that kind of stuff... Please at least tell me that my... err... your Tome is happier than I am?" She would joke, taking the Tome and sitting down on a tree stump, smiling a bit as she began talking to her old friend, apparently still very happy to speak with it despite the apparent sadness that gripped her at times.

"Pssshhh... I don't mind lying to these stuck up idiots... Especially if it means that we can make sure that no one with bad intentions make it into here..." Moira would note, going off quickly to summon the spirits that Deva had mentioned, though the moment that she mentioned wanting to speak to Nathaniel she'd see a shift in the air around her. "Yeah yeah, I'm coming... Give me a minute... Uuurghhh... Can't even get a little peace and quiet when I'm dead and buried... Dad used to say 'You can sleep when you're dead' but I guess he didn't think about this..." She'd hear from one of the nearby graves, before a spirit started pulling itself out from the ground, groaning a little from the effort of coming out to speak with Deva.

A man that looked... surprisingly young considering how he was described as being an older wielder. He had dark black hair, and had what looked like a large scythe strapped to his back. In one hand he held a flask and in the other he held a book that was presumably his Tome. He had a slightly grumpy expression, grumbling to himself and taking a quick drink out of his flask before getting a smirk. "Hey Spera... Out for another walk? Anyway, who called me now?" His voice was gruff, but friendly, speaking in a familiar tone with Spera and taking another look around. Then he would turn and see Deva, eyes going wide now that someone had made it into the graveyard despite knowing that it had been sealed off. "Oh uhhhh... Hey... How's it going? Heard you're calling me or something? Names Nathaniel, but I guess you already knew that... Wait... if you're here to talk... Oh shit... Moira's gonna grab those idiots isn't she? Ugh... Had enough of them when I was alive..." The man groaned, rolling his eyes before leaning up against a tree, taking a relaxed posture until the others got there. Then the air would suddenly grow a bit darker, crows and ravens suddenly flying in around the Neutral Graveyard, and then a portal of pure darkness would open in the ground beneath them, a figure floating out of the portal...

A pale skinned woman with almost no clothing covering her would float above them, looking down at Deva with a greedy smile. Her robe was... revealing... to say the least, it covering her hair, her nipples, and connecting in the middle to cover her sex. And considering that she wasn't even wearing shoes, it seemed to indicate that she really was wearing nothing but those robes. A few crows would fly in and land on her arms and shoulders, perching and looking around as she spoke, voice brimming with confidence and authority, as though she was the kind of person used to having her orders followed to the letter. "So... a wielder wishes to know what to do with their power... how to use it... what a marvelous question... Oh but I am getting ahead of myself... I am Nox Nightengale, Queen, Empress, Overlord of the Black Horde! Bask in the glory of my presence! And be honored that I have chosen to assist you personally..." She declared, purposely trying to sound all powerful and refined at the same time, it seemed that Moira had gotten the people that were most willing, in this case the leader of the Black Horde considering that they didn't get much chance to do anything now that they were dead. While she would never admit it, she was absolutely thrilled to entertain a visitor after so long. Though she wouldn't get to say much more, as there'd be a bright flash of light resounding out through the entire graveyard, and Deva could almost swear she heard trumpets playing a military-esque song, announcing the arrival of someone important...

The light would fade and reveal a woman with long, flowing white hair, wearing a shining suit of knight's armor with a long blue sash that connected to a flowing cape. She stood tall, looking around the graveyard with a military-like emotionless expression, more as though she were carefully surveying the scene. Though as she looked around, she would get a disgusted expression when she saw Nox turning towards Deva next and giving an introduction, constantly making sideways glances at Nox as though she were expecting a sudden attack. "Greetings. I am Dawn Radiant, General and Leader of the White Legion! Protector of all that is good and right in this world. Sworn to protect lesser beings from anything that may cause harm. I greet you, even if I must wonder the purpose of that tyrant being here. If you wish to know what the right and morally just thing to do is then I would not suggest speaking with that monster." She spoke, with a slightly less overt tone of superiority when compared to Nox, but it was still there, still sounding like she was far better than those around her, and that she was actually being kind and generous to offer her advice.

"You wish to make demands of me?! Do you know not who you speak to?! I command hundreds and hundreds of Tomes with but a mere snap of my fingers! Do NOT presume that I have any reason to worry about your 'rules'!" "Bah! Would you be silent?! Ahem... While that barbarian may be so pathetic with her arrogance, know that I do not appreciate being lied to... I will... attempt... to remain calm before that villain... Though had I known she would be here I doubt any of us would be willing to come, and I know her pettiness would lead her to believe the same. As unlike her I have a level of maturity in these situations..." "Cease your layered insults this INSTANT! You are lucky I am feeling generous today or I would attempt to strike you down where you stand here and now!" "Both of you SHUT UP! This kind of stupid childish fighting is why we're all here in the first place. Deva is giving you the chance to create a legacy more than... than THIS. None of our issues with one another matter any more, so put it behind you for 5 BLOODY MINUTES and answer this one's questions!" Nathaniel would shout, silencing both of them as he no longer seemed like a grumpy layabout and suddenly seemed quite serious, though once they both went silent he would sigh and return to slouching against a tree.

They'd all listen carefully, and when Deva mentioned Cyliarra, she would notice that both Nathaniel and Spera would exchange glances with one another for a very quick moment before refocusing on Deva, apparently not sharing whatever it was that the two were thinking when she mentioned that name. "I don't recall ever seeing anything like that, though if you do not mind me saying, it sounds like something that one of the Black Horde might do for some attempt at power..." "No, that's not something any of us had figured out how to do... Besides, it sounds like something that would take at least dozens of Tomes to succeed..." "Yeah... that's different from anything I've ever seen, even with what went on in the war. I used to be a Tome researcher though. If I were to theorize, if one were to use enough Tome Power they could 'infest' a Story at its roots and slowly corrode and corrupt the bindings that held them together... But that would take... years and years to come to fruition... It would need to be a subtle change bit by bit to lead it right up to a completely different ending without destabilizing the entire Story... But how would you get THAT much energy with only 4 Tomes left in existence? That'd take at least 25 of them if I were to give a rough estimate... So it's definitely something you COULD do, but the amount of time it would take makes it impractical at best, and there's no way you could do it with a single Tome..." Nathaniel would explain, getting a bit more energized when speaking about Tomes and theorizing about what they could do, apparently being quite knowledgeable on the topic. Though it might seem strange that he was talking about such strict limitations considering everything that Deva had already seen Tomes do.

"It may disappoint you to hear, but the short answer is 'No one knows'. There's no records of where they came from or who created them... The only thing that we know is that a few of our eldest wielders, 'The Originals', from even before the war had found them one day when filing through our archives. They were just suddenly there, only a few of them at first, then over time more came... And then none came... After we had reached roughly 1000 they just stopped appearing, I believe that cretin Spera got the last 'new' one. That's why 'Tome Research' is such a small field. Mr. Ravenscar is one of the few that could make any breakthroughs in the subject, and even then there's so much that isn't understood." "I know for a fact that my side did not attempt to enhance their power, we simply focused on gathering more wielders to our cause and combining our might. Though the prevailing theory is from Nathaniel, and the belief is that Tomes are actually empowered by their wielder in some form... They start with a blank slate personality, and as they adjust to their wielder they are gain 'power' through creativity. On its own a Tome has no power as it isn't creative or imaginative. But as it gains wielders it gains personality and creativity, learning new methods and therefore gaining 'Power'. That was the theory as I understood it at least... Their creation is more just pure conjecture, but Mr. Ravenscar believed them to be artificial creations, but not made JUST as tools... He wondered if they were actually the 'children' of a powerful being, sent into the world to learn and develop much like a child animal. Like turtles having to get back to sea right after being born, they need to be here to develop a personality and live a life before one day returning to their 'parent' or maybe becoming something greater. But I wish to reinforce that this IS purely baseless conjecture." Nathaniel, however, looked extremely confused when he heard something that Deva had to say, catching something that the other two hadn't noticed. He would look over to Spera, who seemed equally confused about that. He'd look at Deva and tilt his head, clearly trying to puzzle something out in his head. "What do you mean 'near unlimited potential'? I mean, I know Tomes are rather powerful compared to most traditional tools and magic, but there's a decent amount of limits. It takes 2 Tomes merely to move Non-Wielders between Stories... The real danger and power comes from there being so many in one place with one goal... Hell, the rule pages alone give quite a few specific limitations... Did your Tome not have them? Hold on... Spera, you mind checking real quick?" "Yeah, sure thing..." Spera would quickly flip through her old Tome, looking concerned and confused. "Where are your rule pages?! Were they removed somewhere?! What happened?" "Rule pages? What are you talking about? I thought we didn't have rule pages..." "How do you not remember your rule pages?! We talked about them for days on end... Where are those conversations... HUH? Where are those conversations? Actually! Some of these conversations seem wrong... I'd have never said that... What... How? Do you know anything about this?" "No! I thought these were how our conversations had always been! I don't even remember having rule pages. I swear Spera, I don't recall ever having limitations or rules like that!" "I know... You hated having lots of power anyway... But where are they? All Tomes had those rule pages..." "What the Hell... I've never even heard of anything like this... Tomes losing conversations, Tomes not having rule pages... Hold on... Moira! Before she leaves make sure you give her a copy of the rule pages in my Tome... Something's going on around here... Hmmmm..."

The other two however, would remain silent, not out of guilt, they were just as confused and surprised as well now that they had heard this, but they understood that their input wouldn't be very helpful all things considered. They didn't know much about the inner workings of Tomes, only having read some books on Tome research and mostly just relying on the rules that they already understood rather than figuring out the specifics. Though when asked why their side lost the war, both of them would get a bitter expression and point towards Spera. "HER! Miss 'Goody Goody Self Sacrifice' over there decided to end both of our armies. 'Power isn't to be abused like this' and 'Just because you're strong doesn't mean you're right' and all that other hogwash. She said MY army was too violent and destructive... MY army? The hypocrite says that and yet still kills both of the armies believing that she had the right to decide how to 'end' the war and why? Because she could give her Tome more power by draining her own life... Well, that and the other few Tomes she had with her. Yet I'M the monster. Bah! I just understand that the strong rule over the weak. It's nature, the predator devours the prey, it is only right that I rule with this power..." "While I disagree with that assessment of 'power', I do agree that Spera over there is a disgusting murderer... A true villain the likes of which I had never known before. I wished to guide and nurture the denizens of those Stories. They didn't NEED their free will when it caused them pain, not when we could protect and guide them, not when we could build them the perfect world to live in. But she tore that glorious future away from them, saying that we were 'tyrants' for wishing that. Yes we would command them, but only as much as a parent commands a child. They are so frail, precious, and so prone to danger and harm... We wished to take that from them and enhance them, nurturing and controlling, taking away their harmful choices and making them happy, not using our power to make them slaves, but instead improving them, simple as that. And in response... we were murdered. Quite terrible really..." In reality the two sides had very similar goals, rule over stories with their powers, enslaving others with their powers, but the difference was merely in their reasoning. Nox wanted to rule over them overtly, holding them as slaves because they were weaker, while Dawn wished to take them as slaves in the belief that her rule was better for them, and that they were inferior and needed a guiding hand.

Nathaniel would take a break from his thoughts and look at Deva, immediately going into an answer. "That question is a bit tough considering that the power Tomes have is different from what they used to be... If they worked the way they did when I was around, then they've ABSOLUTELY done more good than harm. The issue was with who held them at the time, and the number of them alive. With 4 of them alive they SHOULD be almost no threat. The issue though is that they've got such a large amount of power now for reasons I don't quite understand... But I would still argue that they do more good than harm in the right hands... I've compared them in the past to herbs and medicinal plants... And I think that's still pretty true today. In the right hands a bunch of herbs can create life saving medicine, or make you a delicious salad, or Hell, even help brew an incredibly strong drink. But in the wrong hands they can create deadly poisons and take just as many lives as they've saved before... The struggle is making sure they get into the right hands... You've likely heard about the wars, the deaths, the realms of Hell created... But how many stories have you heard of Tomes protecting properly happy endings? Spera, for example, once saved 100,000 lives in a Story with the help of her friends and I. The villain of a Story blew the capital city to smithereens as a message. We can't interrupt the events of a Story and stop him, but with the Tomes we pulled every person in that Story out at the very last second, saving their lives while everyone still thought they were dead. Story goes on, we give those people a new home, and when the Story finishes we work on reuniting them properly... Sure, back then that took about 15 Tomes, but the thought is still there. In the right hands they're one of the greatest tools for good I've ever seen, and I'd gladly give my life a hundred times to save my Tome, in the same way that he would give his life hundreds of times to save mine. And the both of us lived for the sake of knowledge and for helping others." He spoke passionately, clearly believing his words as he spoke of the good Tomes could do. He knew the risk they ran, but he had seen too much good to ever completely think the Tomes were too dangerous for the world. But ultimately he knew it wasn't his choice to make, so he finished his explanation and returned to thinking, reading through his own Tome as the book had also helped him keep his notes on Tomes.

"Yes actually... I do have a question for you... Which would you take? The side of tantalizing power and dominant darkness? Or the boring stuck up side of light?" "Actually that's a question I agree with, what a surprise? Are you one to understand the important of protection, righteousness, and careful guidance? Or are you a depraved power hungry maniac?" Even now, so long after death, the two apparently were completely focused on which one of them was right, all the way to the point that they were trying to get Deva to justify one of their sides in their conflict. Apparently they wanted more ammunition in the countless arguments that they've continued to have over the years. "I have a question..." Spera would suddenly speak up, stepping forward and returning the Tome to Deva, seeming a bit happier after talking to an old friend like that. "Let's assume things work out and Cyliarra, her Tome, your Tome, and you are left over at the end of everything... What do you intend to do with your Tome... and what do you plan on doing with Cyliarra at the end of it all? I know you don't have all the details, but surely you've thought a little bit on where things go after its done?" Spera would ask, almost completely disregarding and ignoring both Nox and Dawn, preferring to focus on the things that she cared about.

Deva cleared her throat at the side-liveliness. "It's not standard design for women to have one.. and well, I think I should be changing back it is.. distracting. Anyway... you do blush quite well for an incarnation of rules." She teased the blushing, revealing entity in turn after the explanation and after feeling her cock pulse distractingly with earlier inspired urges of fucking whoever her mistress... yeah she was distracted by that outfit.

She decided to abscond from the revealing not godess, slightly emberassed herself, to meet Spera, the old wielder of the tome. "I'm Deva. So how many people have you killed?" She asked after the melodramatic reveal, seemingly unempathetic, but as always, with a reason to her madness... because only if Spera knew the exact number of her victims would have Deva nod sympathetically. "Sometimes, there is only wrong choices. But you still have to choose." She shrugged.

"Your tome is quite regretful. Frankly, it helped me put things into perspective. I guess seeing it all mopey helped me realize what I should not be." She shrugged, poking her tome.
She glanced over to Nathaniel rising form the grave.
"You can give someone more gullible that act." She decided to disperse with her playfulness, to a large extend and display her aptitude for at least the moment.
"You created this place, which means you set the rules for how people here would rest. You made sure people could call upon you easily enough, you just complain because.. well.. that can be fun on a monday." She chuckled. The man seemed grumpy, but rather sharp.. Deva kind of liked that, to be frank.
when Nathaniel relaxed in the back-row, Deva took another moment to check on her flower. This was not a spell she had had ample opportunity to test, for.. kind of obvious reasons, so she was worried just how reliable it was.

A part of Deva thought 'Why does everyone have to be so reveal-y right now.' She really hadn't gotten much.. distraction with the recent happenings, a part of her wanted to... well, Nox was evil, obviously.. but just as obviously, she was Deva's type. Remembering Moira, it was hard to..
-focus! Luckily, she was distracted by trumpets and an at least physically, more tame looking woman. She did need to remember that most of these people had held the fate of worlds in their hand.. and it had not been gentle hands in any case.
She looked forth and back at the confrontation.. not that suprised, of course. But she had not unlimited time for them to.. discuss.

"As a matter of fact a cease of argument would be lovely, there's a bit of a timer on our discussion here." Deva actually had a nagging dread at the back of her mind. It wasn't that she was alive, she was merely hiding from death. That was something no one could do forever.

"I have a nagging suspicion that whatever I'm dealing with is not something that took dozen of tomes.. but all of the tomes in here to succeed. Every light has a shadow." She had suspected that neither good nor evil had had any plan of creating whatever affected Cyliarra, but she wanted to rule out the less.. unpleasant options first.
"And every power has a price."

She then hesitated. "People keep talking about the limits of tomes however. By what I've experienced, there is no upper limit. Not if you use them smartly, anyway." Deva narrowed her eyes when the three continued on.

"Nothing is ever just there." She chuckled slightly as she listened on. "Well, that fits to what Cyliarra said.. and why I feel that a tomes power is limitless, because I genuinly feel that way.. I'll admit, I'm afraid of the tomes, of anything that can stalemate my Ius Victoria, which should be impossible.. but I'm the most afraid of MY tome." She shook her head.

"I can see the idea of the tomes being send here to learn of this world. I just hope it is only a maturing process.. and not an attempt to sabotage. Either way. I'll have word with the parent that has caused these worlds harm." She chuckled. Was the grouchy mans theories realistic? It was perhaps a bit too optimistic and more importantly, too chained in biological metaphors.

Deva crossed her arms, glancing over to Spera and Nathaniel. So this explained a lot. A tome war, a war as big as her own tome had described it, even with Cyliarra's efforts, would have been impossible to hide..

"Fascinating. Very fascinating. And Cyliarra told her her tome said that its powers had been restricted. The opposite has been the case. Is this a natural process or have the tomes been manipulated." Deva mused. "Fascinating, very fascinating. I was frankly hoping for answers, it seems I only find worse questions. No, the tome I hold and, presumably, the one to three other tomes in existance are merely limited by their currently collected energy."
She seemed thoughtful, which was.. unusual. Deva was thoughtful a lot, it was just that she moved from thinking about something to a conclusion before most people noticed that.

She was distracted by the accusal of Spera, smiling a tired smile while listening on. "I'm going to guess that Cyliarra was recruited by Spera from this side." She nudged her thumb to the light-side lady, suddenly realizing she had forgotten her name already. Nox something something, shiny pompous lady, Nathaniel Ravenclaw. hmnn.. well perhaps her naming-memory was selective on purpose.

She listened to Nathaniels opinion on tomes in calm silence, as did she Nox's question. "Heh I guess, Spera's answer would be neither, but clearly her answer hasn't really .. well.. answered things." Deva mused, briefly staring down at her tome.
"I'm not on anyone's side. I'm on Deva's side. I'll use whatever I have to do what I think is right, I don't take sides.

As for what I plan to do with the Tomes? Oh the things I could do... I could stop so much evil I've seen. I could claim the respect I deserve, I could find out what it'd feel like to grow up under a mothers love...
I'd do nothing different at all."

She chuckled. "I mean you all had tomes and in the end, it didn't really help to let yourself be defined by them, did it?
If I had the tomes.. I'd do as I always do. enjoy my life.. wander around, help out a bit, disappear before anyone even knows who I am. Perhaps it can help out, but.. it's no different from my Guisarme or one of my magic swords. It doesn't change what I do, just how I do it."
She shrugged. "I guess, in that way.. I'm different from everyone here." She mused, looking at the Dawn-faction. "I don't do good because of my tome.. I do good because I do good." She then looked over to the night faction. "And I'm not powerful because of my tome.. I'm powerful because I'm myself." She extended one arm and wing "You might have the power to grind mountains to dust and make men kneel at your sight... but that still doesn't make you any good at making pudding." She nodded. "Yes, I know your tomes can make pudding so can mine, but it's just different if you do it yourself. A tome can help you out if you miss some milk or flour but you have to make the pudding. Don't believe me? Spent a few hours making pudding and then ask your tome to summon some up for you, and tell me you can't tell a difference in the two afterwards.
So thats what I intend to do with the Tome. It can help if I'm missing milk." She admittedly enjoyed straining a metaphor a bit. The angle then cleared her throat. "As for what I want to do with Cyliarra? She's hurting and I'm a healer. So I'll help her.. and then..." She briefly glanced over to Nox's revealing outfit. Could she be blamed for wanting to kneel and worship such a mighty mistress? She peered back to Dawn. Or blamed for wanting to be guided to her happiness? Yes, she didn't condone such things being done to people.. unless those people enjoyed them, of course...
"It's a shame you have to be so .. occupied in conflict, you know, anything too extreme can be dangerous..."

She answered, avoiding thinking about certain.. fantasies some powerful people tended to inspire in her as she continued, hesitating and adding: "I do hope you need milk and flour for pudding.. pretty sure on the milk at least..." after answering.:

"My tome has been manipulated. Cyliarra's tome has been manipulated. By how this manipulation was done, we can learn a lot... my greatest concern was that tomes were innately evil tools, even unknowingly, but whoever created them had rules for them in mind, rules that have been removed later on... but how..." She hesitated, pointing a finger at Spera

"She. She did something that broke the tomes rules first. "

"Tomes are more powerful. A negative outcome is set in place. There is no reason to manipulate the talks Spera had with my tome, no benefit, infact, no one but her could have ever even noticed, yet it has happened. That means that.. this change had unforseen consequences, the hallmark of something beyond powerful. Cyliarra is seeing changed stories. The tomes have changed." She had crossed her arms and was pacing forth and back, irritatingly frantic to anyone not used to someone thinking all about, the shadowy-shape of Cyliarra distorting into a set of squiggly lines and patterns together with Deva's thoughts, even writing out a few snippets like: 'Cyliarra's guilt' 'What are you missing and 'stupid angel' And finally 'why would the tomes change'
"Why would the tomes change? If someone just wanted to remove the rules from them... " She thought on, the shadowy lines squiggle writing out: 'Enthalpic balance theorem', 'Tomes depict reality' 'They change when the course of events change, no?' 'Are there any other things that still make no sense?'

"Why did Cyliarra and her tome survive the war? Let's for now presume that everyone else died, and certainly, there were defensive magic users among those taken down. My tome, Spera's tome was at the eye of the storm. Why only spare her?
When Spera ended the war, she made it so that the tomes had always been without rules, she rewrote reality.. forgot to build in a fail-save to help her remember it.. I always do, or.. perhaps I don't but forgot about it, anyway.

Something's still missing... and..." Deva froze up, with the sound of a wilted petal falling softly on the ground, looking at her chest with concern.
"Tzk, dammit, my time's running out." She looked left and right, as if expecting a scythe-wielding reaper to creep up on her, just off to the side. Partially thats what she was doing. Well, at least she got another lead.. though she'd rather guess find the way out herself than go to Mechanus and try to find any disruption of rules. For starters, she was a 'kill on sight' problem for lower ranking modrons.
She rubbed her forehead.
"This is such a bother. I should just snatch up the two lost tomes, confiscate Cyliarra's and worry later." Of course, she couldn't do that. Not unless she was not sure what was acting on Cyliarra's tome could not affect her as well. Cyliarra was dangerous, but nothing compared to what Deva could become...
She looked up and from Nox
""to Dawn, smirking inwardly. Such struggle.. such power. And each and everyone of them a tome-wielder Nathaniel had created the most powerful battery of the afterlife and hadn't know it. All it'd take was to corrupt Moira and turn this from a display of power into an endless supply of power, two opposing forces, never at peace, never even considering peace. They would deserve it, of course. They both had been using others just like this and now their souls could be made to make ammends. With that much power for her tome, Deva could undo their every ill... she could even bring back Aelissa .. not just her.. everyone Deva had ever lost, from Aelissa to her mother Mirinda and everyone in between, she could call her father Anduris from his eternal vigil, nothing could stop her.

She shook her head ever so slightly, chuckling inwardly at her own foolishness. "Perhaps I will not know the answer until whatever this is tries to bite into me... it shall find it's teeth cracking." Deva had thought about getting rid of the tomes more than once now. But it was not power that caused this, it was the desire for power. Cyliarra desired power to protect.. noble, but it could be abused.. Deva felt deep down into herself.. she wanted to impress others, she wanted to make mistress proud.. but she didn't desire power for more than showing off a little.

"Whats the piece I'm missing... ?" She pondered. Through the possiblities. Cyliarra's guilt? No, she didn't have much to be guilty about. Yet Deva was certain she'd seen a darkness clinging to her. Well, no wonder after all this conflict here. And thinking more about it, Cyliarra had aspects of the dove and the crows factions (Deva's new nicknames). Sure, she was a protecting tyrant like the light, yet like the dark she had the makings of a beautiful, powerful mistress... .. Deva had to focus again.
"The tomes alone can do no harm, it's their wielders desire..." Deva's eyes lit up.
Only a tome could change reality so fundamentally. Stories around Cyliarra change into terrible outcomes which she protects.. A tome's personality is based on their wielder.
Nothing to fear but fear itself."
She nodded. "That might just be the last piece." She smiled, thoughtfully, reaching out to pull the by now pretty wilted looking flower out of her dress, looking down at it, before looking back up.
"So fun fact, I genuinly don't know where I'm going to end up. Might be I return to where I left, might be another contingency spell activated and teleported me far-off, might be my body has been carried off somewhere.. Heh, I put a lot of defensive magic on myself quite a while ago, forgot what most of it did. You know, the trick to winning.. is to not lose. Welp, my magic is running out and I can't even refresh it now, so sorry, this will be my departure.. though you'll hear from me soon enough. Gnn.." Deva held her chest, feeling a tightness, as if she was out of breath. Which was a bad sign. She shouldn't have a need to breathe, of course. "Welp, I need to end this war proper."

"Oh goodness I HATE those rule people... It's just so agonizing to deal with them again and again just cause I've got 'forbidden knowledge' in here and all that. But the dumb dumbs can't TAKE the knowledge from me cause then they'd be banned from the library. And trust me, anyone that wants some lesser known knowledge NEEDS to come here at some point or another." While the Librarian would clearly know all the technical terms, she tended to just instead use her own made up terms since they were way more fun and more descriptive in her own opinion. "No way am I going on! I can have my own reasons for hiding stuff! I hide snacks from myself all the time! That way it's more exciting when I find them and get surprise snacks! But yeah... your creator scares me... There's more than enough tales in here about what she can do... Funny too, she's good at covering her tracks, but so long as SOMEONE is around to witness or remember it, it'll make its way here eventually... Err... That's why you should totally believe me when I say those pages don't matter! Yeah! Why would I oppose someone like Deva? That'd be crazy!" That was part of the reason that the Library was so useful to so many, it held knowledge that many thought was lost to time, but thanks to her set up of information trading, she very often got things that others would struggle to find for ages.

When Ayven ended up allowing two more bites to pierce her skin, she'd find a new strange sensation. The first bite had that same stinging pain of the first one, a quick prick that would fade away rather fast. However, the second bite would feel strangely numb... as though the bite and prickling pain was extremely muted, barely able to be felt. But then she would manage to get away from the initial swarm, though when she assured herself she didn't belong in a library, she'd notice another strange occurrence. When she blinked, she'd open her eyes and see herself in a lush and beautiful forest, rather than the stuffy library, the ink seeming to almost gauge her reaction to her surroundings. Then when she blinked again she'd find herself on a beautiful beach, with deep blue ocean waves rolling across the warm sand, the sun beating down on her comfortably... but then she'd be right back in the library, the ink actually causing some sort of hallucinations or illusions when she felt that she didn't particularly belong in a library.

Thankfully, when she cast the wind wall the paper flies would find it difficult to get through and resume biting her, held off for the moment by her magic. Yet... she felt a very minor twinge of disappointment at that thought, again something that would not be hard to shake off, but those feelings would keep coming as that ink flowed through her. Since she didn't get that large of a dose of ink, there wouldn't be any major hallucinations after she had seen herself in a forest and on a beach, though both of those situations had felt so intensely real, to the point where it almost seemed more like teleportation magic than any kind of hallucination. Then again, it could also just be the 'venom' that was flowing through her body now.

The Librarian's blue skin would be revealed to the world as the dog tore through her clothing easily, a necessary sacrifice if it meant escaping that shadow-y hound. Plus she was still under the assumption that the creature was more violent than horny, thinking that the torn clothing was just a coincidence and that its real aim was harming her. So with that fear in mind, she would bolt away from the shadow hound, not exactly faster than it, but able to turn at the right times to gain just a little bit of distance and keep evasive, still aiming to reach her office where she could hopefully hide from the blasted thing. There weren't a lot of spells she could use against it without her staff, especially since a lot of her energy went into ensuring her paper creatures could take the angel in her Library.

Ayven would find quite a bit of lewd things in the Librarian's office, most of the books and writings in there being meant more for personal use rather than being part of her library. Which was also why she'd find a few instruction manuals, mostly on cooking and magic, but some more interesting things like bondage techniques, creative sexual positions, and the aforementioned magic origami book. This was where the Librarian kept her favorite things to read, or things that she used to train or enhance her own skill. Unfortunately that was quite a large collection, meaning there would be so many different things to sort through, most of it not seeming anywhere close to useful, and in fact most of it was actually completed writings, rather than torn out pages like she was looking for. Meanwhile the flies would continually fight against the winds swatting them away, having issues getting through the magic to try and continue their biting assault on the angel.

The Librarian would still be running incredibly fast for one that spent most of her days reading, but then she would lose her footing and trip, falling to the ground and giving the hound a lot of time to catch up to her. She'd turn around, watching it approach with fear, about to scream right before she saw the shadow hound fade away, indicating that the spell had run out. Pulling herself to her feet, she'd let out a sigh of relief, just glad that she hadn't gotten bitten or attacked like she feared... and devising some punishments that she might have to put her new angel through once this was all said and done.

The fly that had flown through and bit Ayven would quickly fly away, already having injected her with some more ink, this time the bite would actually produce a small bit of pleasure running up and down her spine, her body no longer registering the bites as painful. Then she'd almost see the office melt away, being replaced with... the City of Injustice? She could see the city that had been described in the lewd book around her, but instead of the characters in the story, she was facing off against the Librarian in that city, the story events starting to play out in front of her, before the office would snap back into reality. If Ayven was able to think about it, she might realize that these hallucinations weren't just simple illusions, it was as if the ink was putting her in some of the books and stories around her, with the added difference of the Librarian being in some sort of dominant position in those stories. And those lewd, hot, pleasurable feelings would only increase with more of that ink. Those fantasies entering her mind would persist, thoughts of just letting more and more of those nice flies take her, filling her with this warm and wonderful pleasure as the Librarian took her through kinky fantasy after kinky fantasy, dominating her in hundreds of different ways as more and more of that ink would flow through her... It would be so wonderful... so erotic... But once again if she fought it she could start to shake those feelings off, pushing them down to focus on her mission... which would finally yield results! As she brought a small stack of papers before her, they seemed to be pages torn out of the book she had just been reading, detailing other Tome Wielders!

(Gonna post the pages as their own post since they're backstory exposition and would inflate this post too much.)

However, as she read through the last bits of it, she'd feel something a bit heavier than a fly land on the back of her neck, crawling around slightly. It still felt to be made of paper, but was bigger and slightly heavier... and if she focused she could feel eight legs crawling over the back of her neck rather than the six of the many flies!

A spider made entirely of paper would quickly sink its fangs into Ayven's neck, a pulse of ink flowing into her directly, a much larger dose than any of the flies were able to provide. A shock of ecstasy would shoot through her body and the office would once again melt away, this time leaving Ayven in the middle of a witch's hut, with... the blue skinned Librarian standing over a spell book, looking over Ayven who would somehow know that she had been captured and the witch was about to use her powerful magic to slowly drain away all of her willpower... And it would take Ayven actually focusing this time to push the hallucination out, a large dose of inky venom coursing through her veins. If she did... she'd find herself yearning for that fantasy almost immediately, being dominated and conquered by the... beautiful... Librarian. Wave after wave of pleasant sensations and content feelings would come from the spider bite... it had felt so very good, perhaps it would be better to just allow the spider to continue as it crawled around to the front of her body, moving towards the angel's breasts. As that happened, she'd feel an almost instinctual shudder of anticipation travel down her spine as she KNEW the Librarian was approaching. Perhaps it would be better to stay now and see what the Librarian would do to her, if it felt this good it had to be something incredible... Of course, if she fought through it properly she might just be able to escape, but honestly it almost felt like she didn't want to...

"Oh my... Naughty naughty messing up my office like this... mmmmm... But look at you, so wonderfully ready for me... Perhaps now it's time we have that bit of... fun... we were talking about earlier..." That voice would sound so wonderfully melodious to Ayven's ears, like the wondrous song of a siren, and for a brief few moments she would find herself back on that warm and beautiful beach, but rather than her just relaxing there, she was now kneeling before a siren singing an enthralling and incredible song, flowing through her body and making her feel so warm, obedient, and submissive as the siren sang to her. And the siren singing to her was once again the Librarian, still dominate over her, a situation that actually started to feel so right and natural... After all, if this was how every story went, clearly that was just the way that things were supposed to be. Then the office would snap back into place again, a buzzing pleasure still coursing through her as the Librarian stepped closer, smiling lustfully and covetously at the angel, giving Ayven one last opening to escape with those pages if she could focus through the pleasure and enticing submissive feelings that were flowing through her.

The Missing Pages:

Spera Redorna:
AKA The War Ender. A young Wielder that had originally joined the White Legion under the belief of helping and protecting others, she eventually split from the group over disagreements on what it meant to 'protect' as well as learning of the atrocities that the White Legion had committed. After preventing many different plans of both sides of the war, and witnessing escalating violence and death, she ended the war, draining the entirety of her own life force to power a spell to kill every Tome and Wielder that she could find, sparing roughly a dozen wielders, some by coincidence others by intention. Her spell also sealed off the Tome graveyard under the hope that nothing similar to the Tome War would ever happen again. Confirmed Dead due to her spell that was simply referred to as 'The End'. It is confirmed that her Tome survived the experience.

Cyliarra of the White Forest (Formerly Cyliarra Vincius):
A former general of the Black Horde that focused much more on the ideas of dominance, preferring to hold a slave close to her heart as she ruled over them, treating them far more lovingly than any other documented member of the Black Horde. She was convinced to abandon her side after Spera Redorna revealed the violent acts of her compatriots. She aided Spera Redorna in many of her efforts of protecting others, the two becoming incredible friends. However, after the End of the Tome War she disappeared completely, with no one quite sure where she had gone. Then hundreds of years later, a "New" Tome Wielder calling herself Cyliarra of the White Forest arose, matching Cyliarra's exact appearance and personality, but with seemingly no memory of the Tome War or of Tomes in general. She was a part of the 'Fated Trio' that faced down 'K'. Yet once again she disappeared afterwards, with no one sure of her location. She is presumed dead as no one can enter the graveyard to find her, but without knowing where she went there's no way of confirming that theory.

Ava Ironpalm:
A warrior princess that came after the Tome War. She gained possession of Spera's Tome years after the end of the war. She continued on the idea of defending others, an honorable warrior that preferred a fair and simple duel to any other form of combat. She was instrumental in stopping Zedekiah Onyx from his attempts at ruling over the entirety of Stories. She would continue on for a time, protecting others where she could and finding incredible fighters to match her skill against before passing away peacefully. She is confirmed dead as her body had been discovered and given a proper burial, her Tome however survived.

Maria Briton:
A young and rather inexperienced Tome Wielder that came into possession of Spera's Tome hundreds of years after the Tome War, and long after Ava Ironpalm. She was a part of the 'Fated Trio' and was instrumental in stopping K. She was very cheery and kind almost to a fault, usually being nice and outgoing to anyone that she met. Currently 'Alive' in so much as her body still functions. The battle with K seemed to completely sever her very soul into shards and removed them from her body, putting her into a 'waking coma'. Her body is currently in Stasis in pocket dimension 542 to ensure her body does not age or die. Her Tome was forcibly separated from her during the battle but knows of her fate. The Tome seemed to blame itself for her fate, and tried to track the shards down, but without a wielder that was impossible, and it was unable to trust any potential wielder's experience to risk 'harming another life'.

Veras Ironpalm:
A descendant of Ava Ironpalm, Veras gained a different Tome over the course of her life and wished to carry on her ancestor's legacy. She was a slightly cold warrior that only opened up after spending time with someone enough. She trained with many to hone her Tome skills in the hopes of protecting the innocent and making her ancestors proud. She was the final part of the 'Fated Trio' and dealt the killing blow to K. However, the strike against K apparently caused an explosion of pure energy that cost Veras her life. She is considered dead despite her body not being recovered. Her dead Tome was discovered, however, which lead to the conclusion that she had died as well.

"K":
Very little is known of the man that referred to himself as only "K". Wielding a scythe and a pitch black Tome, he seemed to plan on somehow starting a new Tome War. Nothing is known of how he hoped to accomplish that, only that he came extraordinarily close to succeeding. However, he was stopped by the 'Fated Trio' and was barely defeated. Assumed dead, however no trace of his body or Tome could be found. What little records exist indicate that he was a devastatingly powerful and skilled Tome Wielder, but without records little more can be determined.

Sanguira Dunkelra:
A Tome Scientist that affiliated herself with neither side of the Tome War. However, she was shunned by both sides for her immoral research practices, often involving live test subjects. The founder of the Tome "Belief Theory" she was shunned by colleagues and warriors alike, considered a monster for her methods despite the often incredible discoveries she made. It is unknown how she survived "The End", but hundreds of years after the Tome War she was found working with "K" in his efforts to restart the Tome War. It is theorized that she had done this to create a new pool of test subjects, but none of that can be confirmed. After the defeat of K, she disappeared completely, and no trace of her can be found. It is presumed that she is dead as she participated in the battle to stop K, and lost to the 'Fated Trio'. But that is not confirmed in any way. She was also a known associate of Zedekiah Onyx in his attempts to rule over the entirety of the Stories.

Zedekiah Onyx: (Note: Pictured above are his two most common forms)
A shapeshifter and one of the "Original Wielders". He was an incredibly intelligent wielder with a knack for both combat, with an almost unmatched swordsmanship abilities, Tome Enhancement, and multiple forms of hypnosis, including self-hypnosis. This is part of what made him incredibly deceptive, as he often would hypnotize himself to believe the lies he was about to tell. It is theorized that he secretly worked to orchestrate the Tome War behind the scenes, and eventually brought it to the devastating levels it reached in later years. However that is merely speculation, what is confirmed is that during the war he took allegience with neither side, instead befriending Spera and helping her in her efforts against both sides. The reasoning as to why is still unknown. He survived "The End" by unknown means, and resurfaced years later with an attempt to take control of every Story in existence, which was stopped by Ava Ironpalm. During this time he employed the services of Sanguinara, and it is suspected that he may have been working with her from before the Tome War. His body was never discovered, and unlike many others he is not presumed dead due to his ability to shapeshift, take on new identities, and force himself to believe those identities through hypnosis. It is unknown where he could be, but due to his ability to avoid detection it is considered that he could be almost anywhere. His Tome has also not been located, meaning that he is still considered just as dangerous as he had been throughout his entire life.

"Forbidden Knowledge is the best kinda knowledge.
.. Anyway, I like your attitude, so I'm gonna give you some advice, now I might be biased, being a creation slash descendant of hers, but for all the tales about what she can do, got any accounts of what she can't do?
.. and yes, that is why you shouldn't hide those pages."
The Aeva nodded, more prideful than her creator, in a way. She hadn't seen Deva of course, not seen-seen, but felt her, like all angels of her kind. Legend. (As in, what the oldest Aeva's said) Legend had it she was once a mortal woman that ascended to godhood, got bored with it, and left behind her divine presence to guard and protect the Twilight paradise. That Ayven, one of the Aevan Elite had been mobilized at all ment something had startled Deva enough to consider her favoured people in potential danger. Which was an impossibility, but impossible things happened on the oddest of times...

"Sounds like we're both doing the bidding of powerful people, no point play-comparing." Ayven mused, unheard but by the flies and potential magic the librarian posessed, the former of which she dissuaded with an annoyed handwave.
"Poison is such a nuisance." She commented. Clearly, the librarian was a smart type. The magic of her ring aside, Ayven's favoured wind-speed magic was useless against some sort of numbing poison. Well, she was happy to die or be captured for her people. She was an angel, that was her purpose, to fight so others didn't have to.
... Usually fighting involved more ugly demons and less paper-flies though.

"T.. the hell?" She mused at the distracting hallucinations, looking around while fighting the urge of imagining being in a comfy beach-place with a hammock and pillows and juicy mellons 'n straws.
"Visual hallucinations. Oh goodie. I'll just close my eyes and feel my target, oh wait, can't read with eyes closed." She complained.

She slapped her cheeks briefly, commanding herself to focus.. she was pretty sure something was trying to influence her? But how did you stop ink? what was ink, actually.. in.. water? dissolved particles of.. soot? Or somesuch? Well, she'd have time for detox after her mission.
She should have brought a Fluffy to try and figure out if this was poison, illusiory magic, or transmutation magic, but those things were not very stealthy, with their soft purring and trying to nibble on artifacts like her ring. Bad idea. She'd just have to makedo.

Ayven was not as distracted as the Librarian being chased by a shadow-hound, but the womans.. personal tastes were certainly.. messing with her professional attention. "I should've just tickle-tortured it out of the librarian." The Aeva decided while magically rushing through things.

Ayven, meanwhile, was pretty sure a bite that was supposed to be painful causing pleasure was a bad sign, blinking as the place around her changed.. this felt so real it might as well be teleportation magic...
"That's it! The librarian's ability is literary translocation! .. note to self, stay away from the horror-story section." Ayven bomped her fist into her hand.
She rubbed her head a little under the influence of the ink, pondering....
"Means if there was a book about the Twilight Paradise easy way out.. but Lady Deva would not allow such a thing to exist. Anyway.. focus.." Of course, on some level, beyond the pleasurable sensations pulsing through her with the ink-poison, she realized the danger of her situation. Well, she could try calling Deva.. but if Deva came here, someone more powerful from the other side would come here as well.. a stalemate.

She panted slightly, from physical and mental exertion, as she finally, triumphantly, snatched those pages.
"There we go. Now to read it, quickly..." She busied herself with just that, her eyes absorbing the information. She was not under anyones control, but, ironically similiar to the cloaked one, Deva, as goddess of an angel like her could still acess any information Ayven got.. the angel didn't quite understand how, it propably was quite distracting. Not quite as distracting as having seen the librarian in a skin-tight superhero outfit, taking care to display rather than hide her nipples and...

Talking about distracting, Ayven now noticed a spider. What was it with these paper creatures? She fluffed her wings annoyedly to disperse the flies, .. and then gasped as she reached out a moment too late for the spider. "Ahnnnn!" Ayven gasped, involuntarily, shuddering.. wait, a witches hut and she was captured? She gulped.. no .. this wasn't real. Well, then again real was what you believed and.. Focus Ayven!
The Red-haired and slightly feisty angels cheeks were flushed with the dosage of inky venom as the librarian returned, missing pages still in her hand.
"Ahmnnnn...." She made again, her hand half-reached out as she watched the spider crawl over her skin with almost unhealthy fascination, before she glanced over to the librarian. The dose of inky venom she'd been provided with filling her with a desire to push herself over the edge that took almost all her willpower to struggle back. Godesss, how good would it feel if that spider pumped its poisonous load into her breasts?

"Wha...." She made, disoriented by the.. well the beach now, panting slightly, listening to the Siren, clearly.. affected by the poisoning. It didn't help that Ayven wasn't good at coming up with a magical sollution. Now if she was a water-mage, those could deal with poisons.. or a healer. Well she could still -fight- but something about summoning a wind-blade or using her shadow-step to strike at the blue beauty didn't sit right with her.. what did sit right with her was the draining witch, then the captivating Siren..
Granted, she wore a sleek armor of magically hardened cloth which prevented much of her bodies reaction from showing, whilest Ayven mused.. she's manipulating stories and with the ink, she can manipulate me...her traitorous body saw that as reason for arousal, her sex moistening...

True, Ayven could planeshift away, all of Deva's angels had that ability. But it was not an easy one, it took a bit of time to focus. Time.. yes. Ayven could shadow-step, gain some distance, regain her composure, even if using that ability was a huge drain on her magic... she took in the librarian closing in on her. "Graaahnn!" She declared, lacking in articulation as she lifted her hands with supreme effort, a bit of air swirling around them, this wasn't right. It was normal for girls like her to be dominated and..err.. wait, where was she going with this?

Spera would immediately speak up when asked for the number that she had killed, a sadness in her eyes as she could bring it up almost immediately. "2,734... 2,735 if you count myself." She knew the number well enough at this point, having thought about it time and time again, she had even known the number right before she had began. Sure it was a smaller number compared to some of the most disgusting villains in history, but she believed that every life she took was an absolute travesty, and had counted time and time again as she had more than enough time think about what had happened. "Ah but you still have to live with the choice you make... Well... I guess I'm not living exactly anymore so I don't have to 'live' with the choice, but I do have to sort of... afterlive with it? Should come up with a term for that at some point." While she hadn't forgiven herself, she had at least learned to not push her sadness off on others, wanting instead to help in anyway tat she could rather than mope about and make things more difficult for anyone else.

"I had hoped that my Tome wouldn't have gotten that kind of guilt and mopey-ness from me... I had wanted my old friend to try and move on after me... I wanted my old Tome to have a second chance at a happier time..." That was part of the reason that she didn't make all that many orders when she sent her Tome off, preferring instead to let it choose its own fate. But it seemed that it made the choice to do what it could to protect the universe as it had done before, unable to bring itself to do anything else out of fear. Nathaniel, however, would grumble a bit to himself a little bit and take a quick drink from his flask before giving Deva a small smirk. "Figured you were a clever one if you made it in here. Usually people are discouraged by the 'grumpy old man' thing... Besides... kind of fun some days. Though I was pretty grumpy with the morons in charge of these two pointless factions... Bunch of idiots... You got me..." He would chuckle, still taking his casual posture against the tree, not minding the fact that Deva had seen through his little bit of acting.

"Psshhh... I doubt that these two could keep themselves from arguing for more than two minutes... BOTH of them are too petty..." Nathaniel would comment with another sip of his drink, keeping himself from smirking as he saw the offended expressions of Dawn and Nox, knowing the two of them would attempt to stop the arguing just to prove him wrong.

"Well I admit that you might be able to do almost anything if used creatively, but there are hard limits that are more and more difficult to break..." He still didn't understand why they would be able to do so much, in his experience it took a lot of creativity to get behind those rules. "You're starting to sound like one of those 'Belief Theory' nuts... Used to have to argue with them all the time about this kind of stuff..." He did suppose that it made some sort of sense and explain this mystery, but a part of him desperately hoped that there was a better explanation than that. "Even I couldn't make headway into the origins of our Tomes. None of them knew the answer to where they came from, and the best I could do was talk to the Originals, and even they had almost nothing to offer on that end. Just information of when they were found." He explained, having tried as hard as he could to learn things about the Tomes, and even after dedicating his life to learning certain things he had only made a little bit of progress.

Spera actually chuckled just a little bit when asked if she had recruited Cyliarra from the light side of the war, rather amused at the thought. "Funny enough... I recruited her from the darker side... She didn't know the kinds of things that her side had been up to. She was all about dominance, ruling, lust and love and holding her power over a devoted servant. But... well... as nice as that might be with one that truly yearns for it, once she saw the violent things they did, she agreed to work with me... We both tempered one another... I realized that some quite enjoy being dominated, she learned that the answer was more than just picking a side..." "BAH! You shoved all those pathetic ideas of 'morality' this and 'non-interference' that... You cost me one of my greatest generals..." Nox would angrily accuse, watching as Spera only shrugged and ignored the ones that she didn't care about what Nox thought about her.

Spera would smile a bit when Deva explained that she wasn't on anyone's side, glad to see that her Tome had picked someone smart enough to not connect themselves to either side, doing what they thought was the best idea. So long as they understood that, she felt that they were definitely better than the types of people that Spera had known in life, the people that refused to understand this kind of situation called for more than the full of themselves leaders and angry 'gods'. "I like you. I'm glad you're the one my friend chose. Hell, you seem to understand this kind of stuff better than even I did... I just hope that you can figure out what in the world is going on here. But... judging by what little I've seen from you, I'd say you've got the best chance of anyone to stop all of this." The woman would note, sitting down on another tree stump and looking around some more, smiling a little as she thought about her Tome's choice of wielders. "As one that has made pudding myself in the past... I have to say that you're completely wrong. The amount of effort that goes into making such foods... it taints its taste. I'd prefer to just have it in my hands right then and there, or even better, order one of my many servants to make it for me... Why put in such effort when you could simply force others to put in the effort for you." Nox would mock, apparently not having any qualms about using her own magic or powers to instantly get her pudding. "You make a fair point, but I personally would prefer such 'pudding' to be a gift of gratitude of those that I have saved from their foolishness. Such effort is necessary, but not a point of pride. Honestly, the less of it I am forced to indulge in, the better. I take more pride in the praise and reward that comes from those that are enlightened." Dawn explained, the both of them proving that they either couldn't or simply refused to understand what Deva was talking about, apparently still absorbed in their own ideals about how the world should be run. "Well... If you want to help her... Honestly and truly... Then I have to be completely honest about her... I spared her, as a friend... And not only that, but I erased her memories of the Tome War... I even erased my Friend's memories of her... I put her in a Story and hoped to give her a different life, a second chance. Apparently her Tome or a new Tome found her still... But I just wanted her to have a happier life separate from all this... A brand new chance." While it was hard to truly figure out whether she could trust Deva with this information, from what she saw it was worth telling her, and she wanted to help fix everything if she could in any way.

"Ah... right... I suppose I should explain what I remember about that day then... Perhaps I did accidentally rewrite how Tomes operated. It was day after day of war... Zedekiah, one of the Originals, had been talking with me about this for ages... I told him that I thought it may be time to end it all... All of the Tomes... and he argued against me, trying to convince me there was another way, but he quickly agreed that it may be the only choice. So... I told him, and sent a message to Cyliarra... I lied to her... Told her to come speak with me... I simply hugged her, said goodbye, and cast as powerful of a sleep spell I could. Then I took her Tome and put her in a Story, one that Zedekiah recommended to me that we could hide her in. As I said, I wanted her to live and so I wiped her memory and took her Tome with me to a place Zedekiah described as a 'Flux point' of Tome energy. With his Tome, Cyliarra's, my own, the one that Nathaniel had gifted to me before he passed, and one that belonged to one of the Tome Scientists. Zedekiah offered his own life force, but I couldn't let him do that after everything we had done to each other... I used the spell to drain my entire life force, and used the combined power of the Tomes and the Flux Point to wipe out every wielder and every Tome in the war... I also spared Zedekiah... he had done so much and did everything to help me, even offering his own life instead. I didn't want to tell him that I wasn't brave enough to kill him or Cyliarra... I was a coward. Then, as I understand it, every wielder just... ceased to be. They faded into dust, their bodies being destroyed instantly and their souls moving on to the graveyard if they so wished. It was done in just a few simple moments... So many people just gone... Goddess I'm sorry..." Spera explained, shaking a little once she recalled everything that she had done, hating herself for so many different reasons, one of the major ones being that she hadn't even managed to be impartial... that she had spared some unfairly... something that still disgusted her.

The group would look on as Deva started thinking and working through the entire mystery, Spera seemed interested, following along rather well, both Dawn and Nox seemed to not care that much, just wondering what sort of conclusions the woman would come to as she puzzled out what was going on. Meanwhile, Nathaniel seemed incredibly impressed, watching in what was more like a type of awe. "Woman after my own heart apparently... Heh... You're a smart one." He commented, still thinking a few things through himself, wondering how he had missed so many things.

The group was impressed by the determination in Deva's voice, seeing her resolve to the point where the leaders of the other factions didn't have any kind of mocking comments or arguments against the others. They stood there impressed, unsure of what they could possibly say to help or to make things better. Though Dawn would be the first to speak up, apparently realizing that Deva hadn't even properly given them the answer that they wanted, and neither of them had the idealogical advantage to throw at one another for the next few years. "Hmph... dodge the question just as young Spera did... Perhaps I should be rooting for this 'evil' if you are walking that same path... You dare to not ally with the White Legion? All that means is that you are just as much of our enemy as the accursed villain you see over there." "Must you always explain this in such obnoxious language?! Simply use the same rule the Black Horde uses. You're either with us, or against us." The two would bicker once again, not really able to keep themselves from coming at one another with insults and anger.

As Deva started to leave, Nathaniel would step forward, nodding as he realized that the angel's time was running out. "Before you go... Let me link you up with Moira slightly... Give you the ability to ask her some things once in a while, though be careful, it will probably only last for a couple minutes or so, and if my calculations were right, thanks to Spera's seal, you'll only be able to do it once every 80 hours... Not exactly the best, but if you need to clarify something we'll at least be here for you... Or well.. I will and Spera will be at least... The other two are kinda annoying about that..." Nathaniel was insightful and was usually good at setting up some back up plans when needed, and in this case he had prepared a way to communicate with the graveyard if he determined they should be allowed, though he had made sure to limit it in some ways, limits that were extended thanks to the seals on the graveyard.

Deva would feel a sensation of being shaken, as in the real world, Isa was concernedly shaking Deva's body, trying to heal her with what little magic she could try. She had known that Deva was trying to get into a graveyard, but at the same time she hadn't expected it to happen so suddenly. It was strange, she was still in the graveyard, but she could feel someone shaking her despite not currently being there. Isa hadn't been able to get Deva out of the Story she had saved, only managing to find a safe place to try and help her. Either way, Deva would have some time for a few last words with the gathered wielders before she left, as the two warring factions still refused to put petty differences aside, arguing quite a bit. The other two listened and watched, willing to help with anything as they both understood the importance of stopping whatever was happening now.

Deva didn't say much to Spera, not because she wouldn't, but because she couldn't. The green-haired woman eerily reminded her of herself. Had she really gotten that stuck up about doing the right thing herself? Yet, it was wrong, always, but you still did what was needed.

She calmly, peripherally observed Nathaniel. He kind of reminded her of the last Nathaniel she knew, .. albeit more grumpily. What did suprise Deva and catch her attention was however the news of Cyliarra coming from the darker side. That was one of the things she hadn't anticipated. She cleared her throat. So those darker urges her blade's ability had called for had not been supressed as much as she thought..
"Ahemn."
"I do believe that Spera created a greater general, Nox. If I had faced Cyliarra as she was not as she is.. I'd hold two tomes in hand now."
Deva mused as she shrugged at Dawn and Nox. Dawn that was the name, yes.
"I'm hungry for pudding now. But the greatest talent one can have along with great power is not using it. I admit, even I almost lost sight of that in the moment.." She mused.

"Ah, you erased her memories, thats one mystery answered. That makes sense. And it kind of worked." Deva shook her head. "Then again, a mind unprotected by memories is easily manipulated." She nodded and fluffed her wings.
"Stop." Deva raised her hand and narrowed her eyes, expression shifting from calm and thoughtful to angrily concerned in a near instant. "This doesn't make sense. Zedewhatever offered up their life-force after arguing with you. Obviously you said no. Just something I'll keep in mind..." She rubbed her chin.

"Haha... I'm not your enemy." She laughed softly at the two women, her laughter freezing up... "And you should be grateful for that. I do believe I might be Zedeiah Onyx's enemy, well.. or to be precise, Cyliarra's." Deva chuckled and smirked. "Thank you for explaining everything to me, Spera, I now understand what to do. The hair-color had me suspicious from the get go.

Thanks for the offer, Nathaniel, but I think I got most questions answered thanks to your.. and an effort of a little helper of mine. The long and short of it is I was right insofar as I suspected a controlling hand, guiding the fate of the tomes, but it was not from their creation, yet shortly thereafter. What is the saying.. if you know yourself and know the enemy, you need not fear a hundred battles?" Deva mused. A shapeshifter was, actually, a tricky enemy for her. None of her transmutative magic tricks could work on them. And judging by the description, he was also a skilled illusionist as well. Well, luckily Deva didn't rely on spells anymore.
"As you told me the story, I'll tell you the parts you missed.
Zedeiah never agreed with your plan, he just saw an opportunity. The fact that he knew of a nexus point of power and offered his own lifeforce really should have tipped you off. No one switches from disagreeing to agreeing to the point of giving ones life, not without good reason. He hid in the shadow of your spell which was not ment to remove a tomes restrictions and ....

YOU never killed anyone!" Deva snipped her fingers.
"That way you described their deaths, they faded to dust? That could be disintegration, yes, but it could also be.. yes. They. You. Everyone here was used to remove the restrictions on tomes! Spera's initial spell didn't kill anyone, it merely allowed Zedeiah to acess their power!" Deva raised a finger, realizing this and slapping the back of her head.
"Think about it, Nathaniel. An enormous amount of energy would have to be used to destroy several tomewielders at once. Similiarly, an enormous amount of energy would have to be used to remove the restrictions on all tomes. Furthermore, you cannot affect anyone before you haven't removed those restrictions, I'm sure one of the restrictions was not to take that many lives. How do you make sense of that.. well, by reducing two impossible tasks to one barely possible one.

That also explains these two!" Deva pointed at Nox and Dawn. "No matter how diammetrically opposed, the skillfull leader of any faction needs to be able to be diplomatic. Yet, it's almost as if these two were handpicked for their power and their stubbornness. Well, what if they were?" She nodded.
"There is an intent. A dissent, connecting all of this, on purpose. I..." She hesitated and shifted, as she felt her world shaking, touching her chest.

"Damn it. I can't keep this up. But it was well worth almost dying for.
Tomey, I guess since a lack of telling folks has not worked for anyone.. yes, indeed, I could cast spells in the past, I gave up that ability to rewrite reality to a large extend, in part to hide some things after realizing Cyliarra was not the true enemy, in part to see if tomes could be manipulated in such ways, or would accurately recount what happened. I'll not pry you for your parting words with Spera, .. moreso as both of your memories could be jumbled, but.. ugh. Too much talking, need to do it now. Sorry for the cut short goodbyes!"

She lifted her right hand, crossing it over the left holding the flower, pulling it upwards, causing the same flower to float upwards. "While I lost the ability to cast all but my shadow-magic, long ago, I prepared many, many contingency spells that don't exactly disappear, like giving myself the ability to talk to plants or this... though, to be honest, I had hoped the day would never come, it has served me well.. Long ago, I thought that if my defenses were to fail, perhaps being dead for a short while could allow me the time and insights I'd need.. proving once again that you don't need to prepare for everything.. you just need to be able to prepare for everything.
Forbidden Magic!"
She shouted, the flower in her hands glowing and spiraling slowly up and down, before Deva pressed her hand down upon it, causing a bright light to illuminate from it. "Deva's return to Mortality!"
And, as Deva's hands clasped together, she opened her eyes, inhaling sharply... as she sat up by Isa's side "GAAAAAAAAAAAH!.. haaah.. haah..." She panted and coughed, while also thinking at Moira, she did have a connection after all! It's not actually forbidden magic, I just thought that name was cool when I was younger... ignore me!
She still kind of thought it was cool though.

Even while she distracted her spirit with mundaneities, her body was wheezing and struggling. She had -almost- died after all.
"Oh hey Isa. I kind of blacked out early *cough* ... earlier. .. you seem a bit different. Anywhoo.. ugh.. still a bit woozy." She opened up her tome. "If you're feeling like I do, there'll not be a lot of magicking about. Still.. We got work to do. Tell Serp.. actually.. grmnn.. you know what, I don't trust Serp.. the current Serp, but not the future... I'm going to send an Aeva to try and track Ava later."
She shook her head.
Oh and Moira, tell Spera I'm gonna protect her friend.
She lifted her hand, shadows lazily flowing up on it as she smirked ever so slightly. So, one of the remaining tomes had to be Maria Britons, one came to Cyliarra and spoke about potential.. not her original, most likely.. and finally.. which one more.. Sanguira's? Deva didn't believe she had died, unless she had been killed by her own ally. Cyliarra was not a killer and the others had to conserve their strength. The fact that Sanguira had shown up with K was an interesting coincidence... "What is.. belief theory, anyway. I really ought to read up on that next.. hrmnn.. feeling a bit too woozy to read though." She pondered... Last thing, Moira, whats the cliff-notes on belief-theory? She added, stretching. There were still a lot of questions. But, long ago, she had learned that knowledge was the sharpest sword one could wield. "One way or the other, gotta stop Cyliarra and her agents." She chuckled at the irony of, after learning all of this, not changing her plans... she'd just be prepared for things down the line. She looked at Isa again.
"Well, good news, I don't need to worry about defeating or winning in battle against her anymore. That's nice." She chuckled. "Anyway, ask Nathaniel for the old rules page if you haven't gotten it, lets try to stick with the rules most of the time.. it's no fun breaking rules if no rules exist, after all.
Also, while I got to heal up through my magic, I guess we'll need to recharge you a bit. If you can find any agents send out still.. I doubt Cyliarra is changing her approach. She seems the type to patiently work the same approach and if it takes millenia to sucess. I'm less of a work hard more of a work smart person, personally, but we still have to keep her from restoring her own powers after dealing with the First and relocating."
Deva suspected that, wherever Cyliarra relocated to was easily defended.. even against her. But she could get information about that location from whichever agent she decided to challenge. She looked over to Isa again.. well, the ice-wolf girl didn't look unhappy, but Deva had definitly been pushed a bit far and... repressed a few things.. she noted, also feeling the addition to herself after facing Cyliarra... losing much of her transmutative power made this.. harder to get rid of than when she had faced Masoch... actually... well, she could just visit Masoch and take one of her staffs to fix her.. condition.
Then again, just having this shaft filled her with a submissive tingle. Getting rid of it, without her mistress willing so felt.. rude. If Deva was truly honest, without the cloaked one telling her to struggle... she might not have.
She shook her head and blushed slightly, feeling her cock twitch ever so slightly in reminscience
... she should have just fucked that arrogant elf-slut, she sounded like a defender of her people, yadda yadda, but really, perhaps she'd be better off as corrupted elf-slut for her m.. for Cyliarra. She also remembered the womans soft lips on her shaft, causing it to pulse in soft gratitude..
Well, no, Deva had learned a lot and worked hard today. Even with the world turning out a little lewd, she deserved a break. It had taken quite a bit out of her to deny the kind, lewd, corruptive elf-mistress and she still remembered her tail-cock, the urge to fuck and..

Deva glanced between her legs. This was a lot easier to hide for a woman, indubitably. "Errr... sorry, been ignoring you a bit, in thought, I lost a bit of control over the spell, sorry Isa. I can fix you up before continuing onwards..." She offered.

"Having records about what someone 'can't do' is silly... It's hard enough to have records of everything that someone CAN do, let alone figure out the things that they can't..." The Librarian would quickly respond, trying to hide the fact that she was actually just a little bit scared of the idea of how much Deva could do, and knowing that there seemed to be almost nothing that she couldn't. But that wasn't something that she could deal with, she had orders to protect those pages, and those orders were far and away more important than any sorts of fears she held about what Deva could do. But other than that she would focus on escaping her current predicament, knowing that arguing against Ayven would get her nowhere, and also knowing that the angel would have to get through the defenses her library had in store.

Part of her did chuckle inwardly at the brilliance of her defenses and powers. The 'illusions' that she showed people breaking into her home were designed to make it harder to find the right books that they were trying to take from her. It wasn't exactly easy to read AND shut out the illusions at the same time, which meant that would be thieves would have to work through the distracting visions that were constantly falling into place around them. When Ayven tried to force those visions out, she would feel... wrong, like that wasn't something that she was meant to do. It felt so much better to let herself get lost in these wonderful visions, to have her fun and relax, rather than fight them. It just felt natural, like she was supposed to be taken away to these amazing places and shown wonderful things by the kind and sexy librarian...

Ayven would feel that same wonderful sensation every time the paper creatures bit her, a surge of pleasure pulsing through her, drowning out any sensation of pain. And as the inky-venom was injected into her, she could feel a pleasant warmth surging into her bloodstream, flowing through her, giving every part of her bod a nice tingly warmth to go along with the ever increasing pleasure her body was feeling as more and more of that ink made its way into her. The Librarian had built her entire defense system to work perfectly within itself, each bug bite working with the environment around them and each creature having the same type of inky venom to ensure that intruders were properly dealt with. Though she did worry a little bit that this could cause Deva to be summoned into the library, she also knew that she had no other option, as she had to defend these pages from anyone that wanted them. Those were the orders that she had, so even if it meant dealing with Deva, she would have to keep going with this course of action.

The spider would slowly crawl across her front, the librarian smirking a little now that she saw the state that Ayven was in. "Oh you poor thing... It must be so hard seeing all these... wonderful... futures for you and not being able to stay in them... Oh, didn't you notice? Those aren't just illusions or little stories, those are all possible futures for you... Those are all the different results our little meeting could end up with... yet not a single one of them ends with you NOT being my slave..." She would lie, wanting Ayven to think that there was no way for her to escape without being enslaved, when in reality it was pretty much just as the angel had figured. Still, it always helped to have your prey believe that they HAD to submit, as though there was no other option to them.

And as she said those words, Ayven would now see herself in... what looked like some sort of magical college? She was researching something, trying to pass an exam to move up a rank in her field of magic, but as she was researching she would finally notice that the blue skinned librarian had been watching her the whole way, smirking a little. Then Ayven would suddenly remember... she was no longer as concerned with the magic research as she remembered everything... She had been enslaved by one of her wonderful colleagues, made to kneel and submit to her incredible magical acumen, and she would suddenly look down and remember that she had been wearing her slave robes this whole time, barely covering parts of her body, just showing the slightest hint of nipple all to entice her powerful Mistress... She was a slave, a complete and utter slave to her powerful and magical Mistress...

She'd be snapped back to reality, this time a bit slower now, the visions starting to persist a little bit longer, the Librarian watching this whole time with a sultry smile across her face. "We could live like this for ages, my little darling. Living out tale after tale with one another, you submitting to me time and time again in so many different ways, the two of us enjoying one another's bodies to a variety of wonderful and exotic backdrops. Your fantasies and mine explored to their absolute fullest..." She spoke in a lustful tone, smiling as that would sound like the most wonderful thing in the world to Ayven now, like that was the greatest thing to aspire to now that she was thinking about it. The venom would pulse heat and arousal through her body at that thought, making her want it even more.

The Librarian controlled the ink, and the ink was filling Ayven, which means that the Librarian controlled Ayven. Her already built up arousal would send a tingle up and down her spine at that thought, arousal pulsing through her stronger and stronger. It was a perfect sensation, a slow building of helplessness deep inside her. This was what she was meant to do, she was meant to submit to someone as powerful and dominating as this beautiful Librarian. Then the spider would leave another bite at Deva's nipple, the ink flowing into her even more now. Though rather than feeling like anything had bitten her, there would be another surge of pure pleasure, and then suddenly it felt like an experienced tongue sliding across her nipple, toying with it gently in ways that only one that knew her inside and out would be able to do. And just like that, all the sensations would intensify, arousal and warmth flowing through her, mingling with a wonderful sensation of submissive helplessness that made her feel properly subservient before such a powerful woman.

Once again it felt like reality faded out around her, and this time Ayven was at the top of a dark tower, having come to try and save a kidnapped princess from a powerful mage. But instead she found herself currently kneeling before a dark throne, the 'princess' she came to rescue sitting on that throne smirking lustfully, and of course that princess was the Librarian once again. The princess had actually been a dark and seductive demoness that used the promise of a princess in peril to lure would be adventurers in to enslave and keep as a treasured pet. And now it was Ayven's turn, eyes filled with lust and subservience as she eagerly debased herself before the most perfect, divine, erotic, demonic Mistress. Yet this time the demon seemed to desire more than just to feed off of Ayven, she looked at the angel with a slightly covetous expression, as though she wanted to keep Ayven, and in this fantasy Ayven desperately wanted to be kept by one so sensual and incredible as the demoness sitting before her, taking in her actions...

She shrugged briefly at the librarian, telling of her creator:

"That's just the thing. Actually, if you look closer at those stories under magnifying glasses you'll notice that Deva intentionally spreads rumours about herself, good.. bad.. She pays people just to tell stories about her until no one exactly knows what she's capable of. Not even for a greater plan, I can tell you that much.. she just thinks its fun to watch people react and squirm. All thats for certain is, in the end, she does what she aimed to do and you have no idea how.. sometimes not sure she does. But anyway.. here I go proselytizing again. I'm an angel, talking about my creator, can't quite help it."
She excused, briefly shaking her head. Ink poison. That's what she had to worry about right now. She was not a healer type, regrettably. Well, she could patch herself up marginally, but that was about it. Well, she had seen the pages, and as an angel, that ment Deva could see them, if she so choose. It wasn't quite a telephatic link like a certain hive, but it could work comparably. Which was lucky, because Ayven was still.. distracted.

"Anyway..." She cleared her throat, looking about at the illusions and trying to remain calm in the almost fever-like warmth affecting her body. Ayven did not think about summoning Deva.. for religious reasons alone, but also because to call someone more powerful than oneself without preparations was rather dangerous. That Deva was currently kind of dead did not even cross her mind.
"This can't be it.. they're some sort of trap you prepared." She concluded about the futures. Not that she minded many of them all that much...
"If it were futures, I'd look older. Hah!" She said, concluding such. Deva had designed her angel rather mortal-like, with relatively brief lifespans that encouraged them to live life to the fullest.

"A. also I'm not into studying.. bleh." That much was true. There were Aeva's that were more studeous, but all of them could be lazy... Ayven rubbed her temples at the strange studeous vision, blushing at the sensations. Of course, even suspecting these were illusions didn't exactly help stop her from experiencing them.
"Hah! H. hoi, stop it." She complained as reality flooded back. She had felt that one.. rather realistically. Felt her slave outfit, the eyes on her.. her cheeks showing a slight blush even now. It was almost as if the librarian had really been her better... Ayven's pussy pulsed in respect to her superior...

"I mean, we could.. You can have the pages back too, I already looked at them." She said, innocently putting those important pages aside. "Could be fun too.. but this isn't right..." She complained, then chuckled. "I.. I mean it sounds tempting.. I guess I'm free on sunday.. but I feel a bit woozy, can't help but not trust my decision making, just like after a good booze.."
She cautioned, half to herself. She could definitly still fight. Summon some wind-magic to distract the librarian, focus enough energy to retreat through the plane of shadows...

The red-haired angels breathing was heavy as she tried to control her arousal.. a vital issue for many spellcasting concentrations, of course.
"Ahhnnnn!" She made at the second spider-bite, even though it wasn't exactly painful.. the opposite.. she glanced down, as if to spy on the tongue that was licking her there..?

She bit her lip to swallow down another moan at the intensifying sensations, with Ayven swimming away to another illusion, looking around... "See, I know this can't be real...." She commented at the tower-fantasy, as it unfolded, however, she blushed, looking at the demonic librarian-princess. Again, saying these things didn't stop her from.. desiering. To be kept..

"Haaah!" She exhaled, finding herself panting.. on her knees.. when had she knelt down? She shirked back a little. Fantasies fullfilled to their fullest.. she better made sure not to think of any of her submissive fantasies... she felt so helpless.. and she kind of liked that.. gah, bad thoughts.... she chided herself, as her posture became subtly more subservient under the inky poisons influence. She was feeling so hot.. helpless.. inferior to the librarian.... being lured by the kinky demoness.

"Haah... haah... you don't want to explore the kinda hmn.. fantasies bubbling in my mind... as kinky as indulging them all sounds.."
The sensation of the librarian dominating her was actually quite tempting.. plus.... no.. she wouldn't just fall to some lewd demon fantasies.. she focused and raised her arm, as if pushing the images aside..
"Don't underestimate the Aeva!" She declared, even through her flushed expression, .. and while trying to take in the librarian more up close..

Nox would simply roll her eyes when Deva said that Spera had created a greater general out of Cyliarra, finding the concept utterly ridiculous. A good general actually took a side in the war after all, Spera had simply convinced a good general to betray her superiors. That was definitely one thing that the two leaders had in common, they were both incredibly stubborn when it came to what they thought was 'right'. "I did everything I could to make her forget me and the rest of the war. I know it made her more open to being manipulated, but I had hoped that with the Tomes gone she wouldn't have to worry about it. It's why I erased my Tome's memory of her as well, I didn't want anyone to be able to find her."

Then as Deva started to describe the conclusions that she had come to... honestly everyone would look legitimately surprised. Even Nathaniel and Spera hadn't seen anything like that coming, Spera being the first to speak up. "It... it seems so obvious when you put it like that... But... it's hard to explain, but he... err... she... they sounded so genuine when they spoke. I know that's not evidence of anything, but it was his earnest desire to help me that made me trust him so much." Nathaniel meanwhile had stopped pondering his flask and seemed to be just as surprised at hearing this. "Fuck... that actually makes a lot of sense... But how'd he deal with my truth spells back when he came to help us? Damn... Used to always like talking with them... felt like they were one of the only sensible people left at the time..." Nathaniel would say, his hands balling into a fist at the thought of being tricked and used this much. The two of them had worked with Zedekiah for ages, they had even considered him a close friend, but hearing it like this, it made a lot of sense... Why on earth would someone go from disagreeing with a plan, to knowing exactly how to carry it out AND immediately offer themselves instead so quickly? As the man continued to think, he seemed to come to another realization, his eyes widening before growing even angrier. "If he's that crafty... Then... Oh the son of a bitch... I'd beat the Hell out of him myself if I was still alive... He offered his own life because he KNEW that would make Spera want to let him live... One last 'selfless act' to ensure he saved his own skin..." He slammed his fist into a tree, not feeling any pain from such a gesture since he was already dead, but needing to do something. If there was one thing that pissed Nathaniel off more than anything else, it was manipulating legitimately good people for completely selfish reasons... Good people were hard to come by enough as it is, they didn't need manipulative monsters shattering their trust. A shine of hope would flash in Spera's eyes when Deva theorized that she hadn't killed anyone, part of her not wanting to believe such a thing was possible for fear of disappointment, but another part so hopeful that she hadn't been the monster she thought she was...

"So many Tomes, so much energy from the flux point, and the life force of thousands of wielders... The entire war becomes a power source for just about any kind of spell you wanted to cast..." He agreed, still seeming really upset from hearing that Zedekiah had tricked them. From there he would merely listen, the group of them understanding that Deva's time here was limited, and not wanting to waste it while she was explaining things to them. Though once again Dawn and Nox would look extremely offended and upset to hear that they weren't 'diplomatic' and that they were just as much a part of the manipulation as anyone else. Deva's Tome however, would seem just slightly disappointed for a moment. "Awww... Darn... I wanted to figure that one out myself... Err... Thank you for telling me though... I figured something had happened... I suppose my last conversations with Spera could be altered as well... But it seems these things are a little relevant, so if you need to see these things then I wouldn't be upset."

Isa would jump a bit in surprise when Deva woke up, incredibly surprised for a brief moment before suddenly hugging Deva, wiping tears out of her eyes real quick as she hadn't expected Deva to just 'die' so suddenly. "I-I thought that you were actually gone... I mean... I know you wanted to get to the graveyard but it happened out of nowhere and... I was... I... I'm so glad you're okay." Then she would release the hug, actually taking the time to listen to Deva now, looking at her new wolfish body, having been more concerned with possibly losing her friend. "Errr... Yeah... Fixing this story changed me and a lot of the people in this Story... It's not that bad though..." Plus it gave her quite a few new... desires... when it came to her travelling companion, though at the moment she was more just glad to see that Deva was okay, not entirely worrying about the things she could do to Deva later or how wet she already felt just from the powerful musk that permeated this entire Story. "Not trusting Serp? How come? Did you find something out?" Isa still hadn't even heard of this 'Ava' person, only knowing that her angel friend 'died' and she must have gone to the 'Graveyard' that she had mentioned earlier.

I'll relay that to her... Spera says 'thank you' though she also asks that you protect BOTH her friends if at all possible... Spera wanted her Tome to be safe as well, as she had been on so many adventures and become good friends with both her Tome and with Cyliarra. Belief Theory? Of course... one moment, I'll get the notes from Nathaniel, he knows it better than me... And he's rather annoyed apparently to hear that Belief Theory may have actually been at least partially correct... Then after a few moments Deva's Tome would glow just a little as it got the details on Belief Theory. It was a theory designed by Sanguira Dunkelra and stated that the Tome Rules were far more flexible than most scholars believed. The crux of the theory was that Tomes were more affected by the beliefs of their wielder, that what a wielder earnestly and truly believed could shape the way the rules affected them. It stated that you were only breaking the Tome Rules when you KNEW and BELIEVED you were breaking the Tome Rules. If you truly believed your actions and demands weren't breaking the rules, then you would not be breaking the rules at all. It helped explain why different Tome Wielders sometimes seemed to be able to find loopholes on certain rules that others absolutely considered to be breaking the rules. After that was added to her Tome, the book would start to glow as a few new pages were added to the front of her Tome.

Rule 1: A Tome can not be used to take someone's Life.
Rule 2: A Tome can not destroy. It may only create.
Rule 3: A Tome can not affect other reality altering items (artifacts, weapons, people, etc.)
Rule 4: A Tome can not be used to directly control another sentient being
Rule 5: The abilities of a Tome are wholly dependent on the amount of energy it has and how many Tomes work in tandem with it
Rule 6: A Tome can not create sentient beings
Rule 7: A Tome can not create a stable Story alone
Rule 8: A Tome can not alter the ending of a Story. It may only add or remove factors until the Story reaches its conclusion
Rule 9: A Tome can not cause severe bodily harm to another sentient being
Rule 10: A Tome can only affect other Tomes when its level of energy, or number of Tomes, dwarfs the other Tome in comparison
Rule 11: A Tome can not determine the ending of a Story until it has already come to pass
Rule 12: A Tome can not disobey its wielder

The next few pages would just be those rules written in a few more commonly used languages between Stories, and a blank page on the rules list for the Tome to write a translation of the rules in any new languages that were encountered. Though it would be clear already to Deva that these rules did leave a decent amount of wiggle room in interpretation, but at the same time it also seemed to have many rules that had already been broken at different points. "It's strange... I don't even remember any of these... But all the others seem to remember that it was there... It's... It's not the most pleasant thing to know that your memories that you hold so vividly aren't true... and others may not have even happened..." The Tome would comment, and if Deva thought about it, she would realize that the voice that the Tome had chosen to speak with her was actually Spera's voice, likely a case of its positive memories of her. "Oh, and you are correct... It seems that she is continuing with her initial plan, working patiently bit by bit in order to empower her Tome. The Story I think is in most danger I've already located. It's one of two races that were locked in combat. A species of tentacle creatures and a species of... elven women? Gee... I wonder how that whole thing went down... Either way, it seems that currently they're working together to stop an otherworldy threat that endangers both of their races..." The Tome would explain, happy to return to fixing stories and getting some more energy in, as well as seeing how Deva operated under these new rules. "Oh! And if you plan on searching for Ava... I can direct you to her tomb... I actually spent some time in that tomb when I was hoping to live peacefully, but I left when I noticed that something threatening the Stories..." It explained, willing to help with any search that Deva wanted to do.

Isa, meanwhile, would be waiting patiently, her tail wagging back and forth excitedly now that she knew that Deva was okay. She would hold back a bit of a giggle when she noticed the hint of a bulge between Deva's legs. Instead she would rush in to hug the angel once more, soft breasts pressing against Deva as Isa rubbed against her just a little bit while holding her friend close, so glad that she was okay, and at the same time fantasizing about the kinds of things the two of them might be able to do. Then she would let go and chuckle a little bit, still smiling at Deva. "Heh... Sorry... I was really worried... Uhh... You don't need to change me back, I'm fine with this! It's kinda new and fun. Plus I feel a little stronger, and being like this could make me more useful to you... I mean, maybe change me back later, but for now I kinda like this whole 'wolf' thing..." She would say, stretching a bit and getting down on all fours to stretch out her back 'accidentally' wiggling her ass at Deva as her tail wagged a little bit, presenting towards the angel as she stretched. "Any chance we could take a bit of a break before we head out to the next story... Turning into a wolf and thinking you died kinda took it out of me..." "I could provide a resting place for you two if you would like, or we could move on to the next Story. Though the only place that I can manage is in the center of one of the elven villages... It's your choice..." It would then show her an area in the middle of a large city with tall buildings and elves walking around, talking a bit as elven troops stood on guard, holding some strange looking weapons and wearing more modern clothing. They seemed on lookout for anything dangerous, walking around with sunglasses on, keeping an eye on everyone around them, and then repeatedly looking up at the sky, seeming to be most worried about an attack from above. "So we could either head there right now... Or I could give you a chance to recuperate..." As the Tome said that, Isa would wiggle her bottom a little more, stretching and smiling at Deva, just a bit of teasing and enticing for the angel right now.

If Deva decided to take a break, the Tome would put them in a comfy little pocket dimension with pillows, while Isa would sprawl out across the ground to better rest...

If Deva decided to head into the new Story, she'd be transported into the middle of a paved sidewalk, multiple elven women looking at her wide eyed in fear, a few of them immediately running away after having her appear right before them. Meanwhile, the elven soldiers would draw their strange looking weapons, which would glow green and seem to have some kind of ooze flowing through a part of them, and point them at Deva, acting extremely fast at the sight of the angel.

Deva has shrugged a little at Spera. Good intentions, but not enough cautious foresight. How strange Deva would find herself thinking about foresight like this one day. She shook her head slightly at Spera's response.
"Autohypnosis. Of course the shapeshifter sounded genuine. They were genuine, up until the point certain conditions were met. Dangerous skill, especially if you're a bad lier.." She shrugged. "Basically, it's not just a shapeshifting of the body, but also of the mind. As long as you remember to shift back, it's a disguise so powerful you fall for it yourself..." She nodded at Nathaniels words. "Exactly. .. Don't tell anyone, but I'm rather good at manipulating people myself, so I recognized the tactics the shapeshifter employed... Just that I prefer tricking people into doing their best."

Deva nodded again. "The tomes have infinite potential, as long as you have one and can get rid of those pesky rules and any current wielders.. even if future wielder arise, you have millenia of experience above them.. or so the shapeshifter thought at least." He had been too used to manipulation, too used to not fight any own battles, that he got suprised.

She then chuckled at her tome. "Sorry, I'll give you another riddle to figure out soon enough, but lost memory and half-truths have almost brought upon us a rather dangerous situation, so until this matter is dealt with, I'll let you fully know what I'm capable off, so you can support me fully in turn." She nodded to tomey.... and then sighed. "Though, sadly, I'm no good at the magic that could deal with this whole rule-removed tomes easily... Axiomatic magic of creatures of pure law could, at least temporarily restore any tomes restrictions. Sadly, those wont help me for.. various reasons.. Well, thinking about it, perhaps I could..." She hesitated and pondered, fluffing her wings thoughtfully.. There was maybe one way. But she'd try other things first!

Deva, on awakening, chuckled at the slightly fuzzy-fied Isa. "Yeah, sorry, truth be told I didn't expect all these .. side effects either. We're running out of old defense mechanisms I set up. Well, I might have forgotten something. Let's bet on that." Deva pondered.
"That you look like this is a slip up of my control, a shred of chaos-magic. It's the equialent of your fireball giving off smoke when it shouldn't. that I both lost control, beyond an instinctual level.. guess what I was thinking about..
That I lost control and the energy-consumption drained me and my tome dry proves it's not an adequate sollution. But.. it's all good."
She nodded, assuringly.
"Huh? Oh.. nono, I trust -current- Serp. I don't trust who Serp once might have been or might become if he's restored in full and knows too much of those Tomes. He might get it in his head to become a bother. I'm just avoiding problems preemptively." She chuckled, instinctively giving Isa a brief head-patting, while she flipped through her tome to read up on this belief-theory. Again.. it was quite interesting.

"Interesting. Very interesting, because, once more, that would explain how he could have initially ignored his own tomes rules, but then why overwrite all others.. why go so far? Perhaps .. ah.. yes... perhaps the shapeshifter has a hidden weakness they want none to know. They could adapt memories and personalities, but not without limit. Yes. To either be harmless and hold a tomes unlimited power, without remembering ones own ambitions and plans.. or to be ambitious but limited.. enough to drive one to extremes..." She rubbed her chin and nodded. The more she looked into this, the clearer the picture became, likely, a proof of her being right.

So who was Cyliarra? She could be the shapeshifter, in masterful disguise, escaping from near mortal wounds in another personality. But why emulate someone else this far? Or.. it could be that it was juste the shifters original tome, filled with corruption and a personality yearning for power. But could the tomes go that far on their own? Was it on its own?
She also reviewed the tome rules.

"All but number twelve have been removed. Good.. well not good, but knowing this is good too." Deva smiled, with a growing confidence. The more she knew about her opponent, and be it the smartest detail, as many of her foes had learned, it helped her find sollutions. Deva didn't have a mind that looked for ideas. She had a mind full of ideas. She just needed to narrow it down to the right ones.

"If you don't like your memory being messed with Tomey, think about how grumpy Cyliarra is going to be. I honestly find it mildly amusing.. but then, I'm a pervert that is into lewder things.. plus, I enjoy the sensation of child like suprise other people feel so often. To learn new things you had not yet considered, to be suprised.. it's wonderful." She chuckled.
"Tentacles and elves huh.
Oh, Ava has died? A shame, the information must have been outdated.. but it's alright. I think I am prepared."
She nodded, before glancing over to Isa, giving an apologetic shrug for basically speaking with herself.

She slightly raised her brows at Isa squish-hugging her again, shaking her head. "I'm fine, I'm fine, mind clearer than before. Unlike the unknown, I don't fear overwhelming power.. you can always plan for being overwhelmed after all."
Well, at least, Deva seemed to think she could.
"My apologies on worrying you. If I don't tell you something then it's usually to make sure no one can steal the information out of your mind, rather than out of a distrust towards you... that and I admit, suprising you and watching your amazed expression is fun too." She chuckled.

"Actually, as an ice-mage you might be able to use magic similiar to what I did, lower your body temperature, slow your physiological processes.. it'd be more playing dead than cheating dead, but for a starter.." She chuckled. Isa seemed to not mind being a wolf.. so.. Deva tried to not watch too much at Isa's stretching. that.. most likely had been an accident... Deva wanted to grab her and.. and.. she cleared her throat.

"Hah. I just kind of rested. But knowing myself, I can always nap. That said, I also kind of need to keep pressuring Cyliarra, the cloaked one, because if I don't it'd look like she has the upper hand. You know, like she does." Deva shrugged.. and watched Isa wiggling about.

"Hrmnnhmnnn.. alright a short rest." Deva decided to offer, patting Isa.. with a slight blush remaining on her cheeks, deciding: "A lot has indeed happened. Tomey, little resting pillow-fort." while waving the now wolfish world a goodbye.

When they arrived, Deva shifted into a cross-legged posture, looking over to Isa all sprawled out and chuckling. "I've not worked it all out yet Isa, but the intent that took your memory from you was not exactly the Cloaked One's. I told you that I sensed a shadowy hand behind the revolution against her, something just.. didn't fit. If Cyliarra was truly a mistress in charge of all she recruited, even hands off, she should have, well, been in control, what I mean with that is, the way evil slaves revolt, don't ask me why I know this, is they think they'll be better mistresses and their first act is to enslave their prior owner, that's what they are focused on. But none of them had much desire for the cloaked one and Cyliarra doesn't seem the type to be incompetent about such things.." Not after learning she had been working for the evil side, at least.
Deva noted, while watching the resting wolf-girl, sprawled out like that.. Something about her lying there prevented Deva's shaft from fully calming down.

"But don't worry about it. A little rest, then dealing with the elf-tentacle world, then.. oh, we'll see. Perhaps I'll visit a tomb, or go for the problem more directly." Deva mused, seeming to shortly but swiftly, perhaps too swift for Isa's tastes, refocus herself.. before extending a hand, groping Isa's bottom in her patented way of teleporting over to the elfish village. "Now now, not too much rest for the snuggly!"
She insisted. As cute as Isa was, she still had things to do, worlds to save!

Though, upon arriving in said world, it didn't seem like people wanted saving necessarily. She took on the elfish, warrior type looking women with slightly off outfits and tilted her head at the almost gooey weapons pointed at her.
"Oooh lookie at that Isa, we're being arrested." She remarked with a cheerful smile, for some observers perhaps unnervingly so. "It's been quite a while since anyone arrested me. I think I'll have a go at that." She nodded, lifting her hand after stowing away her tome innocently. "Hello! I'm a very dangerous individual, I demand immediate incarceration in your nearest law enforcement facility. Will there be tea? I'll take Jasmine with some honey."

"Hey no complaints from me, when you're passionate about something you can't help but talk about it. You get me talking about books and I could go on for ages and ages if no one stopped me. I get it, though maybe we'll start putting that mouth of yours to better use." The Librarian would respond with a chuckle, having imagined all sorts of different things that she would be able to do with the angel already. If that meant the she would have to occasionally hear stories about what Deva could do then that was fine by her, especially since she loved hearing stories, so it would work out in the end. "Besides, if your creator made one as sexy as you, then I can't help but be a bit appreciative of the woman." And she would be sure to see every detail of Deva's creation before the end of the day...

Rather than some of the agents of the Cloaked One, the Librarian was unable to keep her lie going when called on it, used to people being too far gone to argue against it. "Well darn... Didn't think of that one... Gonna have to remember that one for next time... Well Ms. SmartyAngel... You're still gonna be kneeling before me busying the mouth of yours between my legs, so it's all good. They may as well be the futures of this little outcome." She would retort, still rather confident in her chances against Ayven. Really she had just assumed that the angel was made immortal like all the other angels, but if they were meant to grow old then her little lie wouldn't help her with fooling the angel.

"I can promise you that studying all these lewd little tales will be much more fun when the two of us can live them out. Studying alone is really boring, but when you can live and experience and partake in the things that you're studying it's so much more fun." While she knew that Ayven was talking about the fantasy she had brought her into, she knew that there would be quite a bit of fun to be had in an actually studying. That was another part of the reason that she loved collecting so many books, because each book was a brand new adventure for her to experience. Of course, she did purposely avoid experiencing certain stories, she wouldn't do in some of the stories in the horror section, and she had a few historical moments that she figured it'd be better to avoid. And thanks to the ink, even thinking about the fact that she was starting to experience these lewd visions at her... Mistress' will... would make her heart pound just a little bit harder. A feeling of helplessness would pulse through her, making her sex pulse with pleasure.

"Well if you've seen the pages then that just means that your Mistress just can't let you out of here... But that's okay, I promise you that all the time you're gonna spend in here will be way more fun than anything else that you could do out there..." Her voice was filled with confidence as she strutted towards Ayven, as though she KNEW she would be the angel's Mistress by the end of all of it. Meanwhile, the paper spider would be slowly crawling down Ayven's body now, moving across her stomach, the ink in her veins causing the spider legs to cause her skin to tingle pleasantly... She didn't have to worry about the spider, she didn't need to stop something that felt that good, did she?

The moment that Ayven knelt down before the Librarian, it'd feel like the most proper place in the world... A tingle of pleasure and happiness would run up and down her spine, reminding her that what she was doing was the proper place for her. Regardless of any fantasies or illusions, THIS was where she belonged, knelt down before a beautiful, sexy, and powerful Mistress/Librarian. "Oh please now, my darling... There are so many kinky fantasies that we could live out, I'd love to indulge fantasy after fantasy with you, yours and my own. After all, my little slave deserves to live out her own fantasies as well." She commented, and if Ayven didn't stop it, she'd feel the spider bit right between her legs, pumping its inky venom directly into her sex, a white hot surge of ecstasy pulsing through her, radiating across her body, feeling like a hot tongue was rolling against her clit, circling and teasing it with perfect precision, as though a lover that knew Ayven's body inside and out was pleasuring her.

"Oh I don't doubt that you could do something in this situation to stop me. You COULD... But do you really WANT to? We could have so much fun together... All those wonderful little fantasies you saw, we could live each and every one of them out, one by one, feeling my dominance over you again and again, in tale after tale... You could be mine, my sweet little slave to toy with and I would be your Mistress, there to care for you and enjoy your wonderful little body day in and day out... Doesn't that sound so very wonderful?" And with even more ink flowing through her veins, those words would sound so wonderful coming out of... the Librarian... her Mistress...

That would be when she'd be brought into an even more vivid fantasy, this time almost completely overwriting any other memories that she had. She was a simple village girl, working on a farm on the outskirts of town... It was a simple life, almost boring at times, but otherwise she was nice and safe. But this night her farm was being set upon by bandits, burning down the place, and almost kidnapping her and her family... But she was saved by a passing congregation of priests and priestesses, who used magic to stop the bandits in their tracks. Ayven would particularly recall the moment that a beautiful blue skinned woman lifted her up to shield her from the bandits, holding her in her strong arms and carrying her out of the farm. Then the church took Ayven and her parents in after their farm had been burned down... that was where Ayven learned the purpose of the church. The church were indoctrinating new slaves to a mighty goddess, bringing them in and 'showing them the beauty of subservience', enslaving all those they had taken in. Yet... Ayven and the Librarian already loved one another deeply, and through it all Ayven submitted herself to the Librarian... no... the High Priestess, kneeling before the Goddess' shrine in prayer as her lover encouraged her on, groping and kissing her while whispering sweet words of submission into her ear to help her pray. "That's it sweetie... devote yourself to the Goddess... devote yourself to me... submit to me... submit to the Goddess... submit... Obey... Let your submission carry you my love... Let it bring you to new heights of pleasure and devotion... Submit to me, I promise to protect you... my love..." And deep in Ayven's heart she would want to submit... That is... unless she could force reality back around her, force herself to remember the real world... But did she even want to right now?

Both in the fantasy and in the real world, the Librarian would strip down to nothing, revealing her whole body was indeed as blue as all the skin she was showing off. Then she would slowly lick her lips before pulling Ayven into a deep and passionate kiss, running a hand against her stomach slowly, silken smooth skin caressing her gently. And it would feel so much better than the heat that the ink had been coursing through her, it felt like she was finally starting to get the relief that she needed with all this pleasure flowing through her. That wonderful kiss would feel so warm and passionate, the ink causing her heart to skip a beat as that wonderful woman brought her into an incredible kiss...

"Well.. err.. glad you approve." The whole.. being distracted by lewd illusions had Ayven struggle in stringing together a more stinging retort. Plus, there was not much to retort to, with the librarians overall interest.
"You seem suprised. Figured a scholar like you would know there's all kinds of different angels. Roughly speaking, an angel is just a stronger divine servant of a good leaning deity, from the overly orderly Justicars over the kinda neat Guardianals to the Valkyries of Valhalla. My kind leans more towards the Valkyrie-e end of things... anyway, each angel is determined by their creator, in our case we have a long lifespan.. but aren't immortal or unaging, our creator believes that we need be similiar to mortals to understand and protect them. On the plus side, unlike the more orderly angels, we can reproduce naturally."
She explained, because, well, for one, the librarian seemed a curious sort, for two, she really needed to distract herself somehow to proper keep her calmth. Of course information that the librarian would already know. -
In D&D there is nine alignments, as well as transitional planes, for example for people that are very good but kind of lawful as well, there's the vibrant fields of Elysium, For people that are super lawful and super good there's the Seven Mounts of Celestia, and for those that are kinda good but mostly lawful there's the Peaceful Kingdoms of Arcadia. Usually in anything that has at least some goodness, you can find angels, that's Lg, LG, lG, NG, cG, CG, Cg, in this order. The Aeva indicated she's from Valhalla, which is a plane in D&D cosmology (a badass plane, while at it) Making her very Chaotic and slightly goodly, Deva more often Refers to Arvandor, the Chaotic and Good plane in D&D.

There's also independent ish angels, Like the Planetars, Solars and Devas(yes, her name was inspired by them), who can go either way, serving a plane or wandering the world and protecting good people with no allegiance to anyone.

Each plane's angels have a few unique rules and abilities too, save to say that the Aeva's unique abilities are inspired by Deva's magic.
"So, basically, you are a naughty librarian and want some company because reading books all by yourself gets boring.. I mean.. how do I put it, I'm not -bad- with books, certainly worse things to spend the time with, but not my primary talent either." Then again, this was tempting. She could even follow her purpose, gathering knowlege, here, in a way.

Ayven decided not telling the librarian of her missions success, the subtle link an angel had to her goddess. At least, not for now. With the feelings of tingly helplessness she was trapped somewhere between enjoying herself, and a stubborn desire to struggle and overcome the naughty obstacle before her. She was about to protest how well, a little ink and .. was it illusiory magic?
How that wasn't enough to make someone a mistress, but her hesitation had also kept her from stopping the summoned arachnid creature, causing her to gasp as she was reminded so .. proactively.

"Aghnnn gaaah!" The angel blushed and shifted in her leathery armor, tailored for mobility than straight out bulky defence, with her gasping, briefly fighting the urge of tearing all clothing off of her as she writhed in the sudden, overwhelmingly inky-kinky pleasure, her reddish wings curling with their tips bend inward towards her. "Haah.. woaaah..." She'd have to either strip, or wiggle a hand into her pants and remove the spider.. another one of those and she'd propably collapse on the ground, climaxing...

She shook her head, trying to calm herself, admitting: "We.. well, you drive a hard bargain.. really." She could take some time off.. there was of course the risk of giving away some intel about Deva, but the librarian seemed less interested in that and more interested in, well, Ayven herself.
She blinked suddenly, thinking that the Librarian certainly had a way of making stories come to life.. literally.
Which was an odd thought for a farm girl, of course.
Bandits? Nuuuh. Ayven most certainly would pick up a fork and fork them! She would fight to protect the innocent.. which.. was herself, of course. Luckily, she had priestly support. Aww.. it was nice to be picked up by the strong, blue stranger.
Wait, being enslaved sounded slightly concerning... wait.. the librarian? Ayven loved her?
"Hamnn.. submit.." Ayven felt good, held by someone stronger.. her body was aroused, and.. well, an innate part of her was ment to submit to the goddess, even if something felt ever so slightly off.

She blushed at the blue beauty holdling her, caressing her, kissing her so deeply, her tongue, almost soft and shy (At least for her kind, Ayven was not that sexually active), with her moaning ever so softly into the sensation.
"Haah.." She sighed, briefly closing her eyes in the kiss. "Submit.. o.. obey.. hmnn.. love..." She whispered softly, cheeks flushed with a maidenlike smile. Still.. something.. felt off.. this felt so nice and.. and.. something was still...

"Graah.. n... no.. stop it.. you're turning me into a slave!" She gasped out, ever so slowly fading back into the real world, with a slightly dazed expression, with her feeling like just a little farm-girl, looking at the beautiful, blue, nude high priestess with a confused expression. What was she going on about again?

She had had an important task. Yep. She had finished that task. Submitting? No.. Something else. Didn't matter now. And now.. she tried to gather her thoughts. "Haah.. I.. I don't wanna.." She gulped. But as much as she wanted to struggle away, her body was so hot.. and the.. the librarians touch helped soothe her. Her body was so hot.. and moist, she wished that hand continued further. "N.. no.. this is not happening. I'm Ayven, the Shadow.. infiltrator.. gal.. I'm not going to just be defeated like this.. uh." That said, even with her outburst of strength, who was she actually fighting? That was the problem with her magic, wind magic could blow away and cut, shadow magic could conjure and.. anything else she was too.. unfocused for. But none of that really felt like something she wanted to use against the nice library-mistress. But what should she do next? She had to focus and figure something out,.. soon.

"Also.." She couldn't help but musing. "Don't stories need tension? And context! You can't just have priests suddenly appear.. how about.. estranged childhood-friends, one wanting the simple life, one ambitious... and then.. oh yes! You should have the poor farm-girl be abducted by the mean bandits.. and hamnn.. enslaved by them, turned into .. hamn.. their needy whore.. only to be then rescued by the priestess, who knows that the only way to restore her sweet childhood love is to throughoutly condition her mind.." Ayven presented herself as amateur literature critique, the heat in her body certainly making her.. honest about her experience.

"Hey, like I said, no need to apologise to me. This isn't the worst thing in the world. Plus it'll be even easier to keep warm with all the ice going around everywhere!" Plus the wonderful feeling of knowing that she was a proper bitch helped keep her happy with this new form. "Plus I've got a tail now, and those are really cool." She would chuckle before wagging her tail a bit to show what she meant by that. "The only thing that stinks is that I can't use it to pick things up or anything, but I can chase it!" Which she was currently resisting the urge to do, as her instinct for hunting had increased just a little bit with the transformation. "Errr... Who Serp will become? I mean... I guess... But wouldn't we just end up putting him back in his Story is everything goes correctly? I thought you said that we weren't gonna remember our time with you if things go back to normal... Eh... You know what you're doing I figure... Though be careful, Serp is usually pretty good at figuring out that people are hiding" Well, at the very least Isa was observant and tended to have a pretty good memory, especially when it came to things that Deva told her. Then she would rub a bit into the head patting, more instinctual than anything.

"From what I remember of Cyliarra... she'd be more saddened by the fact that Spera removed the memory of a friend, rather than upset that things were tampered with... But she's clearly very different from the last time that I met her, so I'm really not sure what she might think now." The Tome would note, having a bit of issue even trusting its own memories on the matter. It was kind of getting into its own head now, especially knowing that even its conversations with Spera, its happiest 'memories' weren't entirely true. "Errr... Yes, Ava passed away 12 years after we faced Zedekiah... I hadn't thought that he would have lived, but then again I had no memories of him before that encounter... At least I think I didn't. Are you talking about Veras? Veras disappeared completely after the fight with K, and her Tome was found dead. I couldn't find her even when I was observing through Stories to try and figure out where she was." It further explained, really only knowing where one would be able to find Ava's tomb.

"It's alright... I never thought that you don't trust me. I was just worried about you is all..." Right now she was way too happy just to see that Deva was okay to worry about anything else, besides she knew that Deva usually had good intentions with the things that she did. "Oooh... Like use the ice to slow me down to LOOK like I'm dead? Not sure I'm gonna need that, but I'll definitely keep it in mind." Isa was surprised about the kinds of things that she could do with ice magic, until now it had all been about blasting ice at people and creating ice walls, she had never considered how to be more efficient with her ice, or how she could creatively use it to do other things. Just learning from Deva had made her a better ice mage than she could ever remember being, then again her memory wasn’t exactly that long after she had lost her story. Either way, she was happy to get some rest with Deva, sprawling out in a relaxed posture that showed off her enhanced assets. She'd smile up at Deva, managing to look just a little needy while keeping a friendly air about her, doing everything she could to make it seem unintentional. "So the rebellion doesn't make sense with the way that they acted... Instead of focusing their revolt around their 'Mistress' their revolt was still focused around themselves... Hmmmmm... So there's someone new in this whole mix? Strange, I would have thought there'd be some sign of them at this point, or they'd make some sort of move, especially since you took down the rebellion. I'd think they'd try to get involved to protect their interests... Hmmm... Eh... You're smart, you've probably got SOME of it figured out by now." Isa would chuckle, having a lot of faith in Deva's intelligence, especially when it came to these kinds of plans and tactics. Instead she would focus on cuddling up to Deva a little, smiling at her and listening to her plans as she tried to subtly entice the angel, noticing the slight blush to her cheeks and taking that as a sign of success.

But before she could do anything, it was apparently time to leave, which would make Isa hold back a huff in disappointment, mieeping in surprise at having her bottom groped, but at this point enjoying it more than she ever had. Once Deva appeared in the middle of the elven city, dozens and dozens of elves would scream in terror and immediately start running, panicking at the mere sight of Deva. Her cheeriness especially seemed to worry the soldiers, who would take a very quick look around for anyone that she hadn't seen. As they did so, Deva would see another woman, in an outfit that seemed to be a mix between armor and a business suit walking through the soldiers, giving orders as she moved.

She had a sword strapped to her belt, as well as two of those goo weapons that Deva had seen the others wielding strapped alongside it. "You four! Watch the Skies! I don't want any swooping down from on high! Velia! NOW!" And just like that a large glob of goo would fly at Deva from behind at high speeds. If she did nothing to dodge it, the goo would hit her wings and stick them together just a bit, making them much harder to move, and if she was able to fly before she wouldn't be able to now. This goo would be a bright purple, glowing a bit as it held her wings together. From behind her, another elf would approach behind her, holding two smaller goo guns, these ones filled with the purple goo that held Deva's wings together...

Her clothes were far skimpier, revealing a great deal of skin as a confident smirk was on her face. "Don't try any flying around here, we've got 10 sharpshooters with more of this neutralizing agent aimed at you." She twirled one of her pistols a bit before pointing it at Deva as well, though from there the elven commander would continue talking instead. "No one get too close to her! Angels are crafty, this could be some kind of trap!" She warned before looking at Deva, eyeing her up and working carefully, worried that something was going to happen at any moment. "You are officially under arrest for illegal invasion of this city. If you do not come peacefully I will have to use additional force to subdue you. I am Commander Lialla of the Shining City Police Department." "How the fuck did one of the angels make it through the grid? I thought we designed the defense system SPECIFICALLY to detect angels, especially ones coming from the sky!" "Initial reports say that she just appeared in the middle of the city... Ancestors Save Us if the rest of them have learned this kind of power... Last thing we need is to have angels able to pop in wherever they damn please..." "I'm gonna go let the Slimeba- err... 'Squid-Kin' know about this... They might have an angel appearing in their capital right now as well, best we actually talk to each other on this one..." With that, the scantily clad elf would twirl her pistols one last time and put them back in their holsters, giving a quick bow to Lialla and walking off, having a few reports to file on this incident. Meanwhile, the elves would direct Deva to follow them, quite a few of them still having weapons trained on her as they walked.

"How about you make this easier on everyone and tell us A: What you're doing here, and B: How you got into the city? Do your people have some kind of teleportation technology? And please, spare me the usual 'You're races are violent and unclean' speech, I've heard it enough times from the angels before you." They said, walking towards a tall building where there seemed to be at least 30 elven soldiers just walking around the outside, all having those same goo guns, and all of them would grow more concerned as Deva got closer, eyeing her carefully, while a few others would start watching the sky. They would direct Deva into the large building, bringing her to a reinforced room with a few chairs that were... comfier than most interrogation rooms that Deva had seen. "Tell you what, work with me here and we can get you some tea. But I've got an important job to do keeping this city safe. We've dealt with 34 invasion attempts in the last 2 months... though this is the first one in the past 2 weeks admittedly... Please, just tell me what's going on, and we can hopefully handle this peacefully." Lialla would ask, seeming much more reasonable now that they were inside and weren't at risk of being set upon by other angels.

"Yeah tails are neat. Very Swishy." Deva nodded, focused, as always, on the heart of the issue with Isa. She chuckled at the idea of Isa chasing her tail. "There's a few demon-bloods that can use their tail to pick up things, yeah, though nothing beats tentacles at picker-uppers." She nodded. "That you forget what happens outside of your stories was just one possible result. Another would be your old and new memories flowing into one another, or, that your old memories and personality reinstate themselfs, that's the one I'm cautious about." She shrugged and finished the Isa head-patting before checking on her tome.

"Yeah, there's still too many unknowns, but I think I got a good grasp on things, learning more about what we're dealing with might make things boring." She mused, peering over to Isa who kept her.. kind of distracted, in a good way.
"Not someone new, someone old. I suspected it a while ago, but I was certain when I faced Cyliarra, the cloaked one. In my theory, they could not physically get involved with the rebellion.. and further, someone like the First would accept no entity above them. Yet, something clouded Cyliarra's vision of it all. She's too cautious to have no safety mechanisms against such a rebellion... aww you's a cute." She decided, scratching behind Isa's ears.. certainly not minding a bit of closeness with the wolf-girl.

Deva raised her brows at the fleeing elves, whispering behind a raised hand: "Fun fact, some of my outfit is intentionally designed to look harmless. Perhaps losing my touch." It wasn't that, of course. Deva knew that, her white, fluffy wings aside, she appeared comparably harmless, a simple white hat and dress, no righteous-vengeance overall, any weapons hidden in shadow-magical dimensions.

"Hey, did she say swooping from the sky? Hoooh.. I think I might be a victim of racisms. That's so rare!" She nodded, but eeped, getting globbed. "Heh." She chuckled, snerking a bit.. Her wings were small, feathers.. underdeveloped, owed to her only about one third celestial heritage at best. She called them her comfy blankets. That wasn't the amusing bit however.
"I mean, you got that right, super crafty. And you shot at me, so y'know, not making a point in favor for non-violence either, gooey or not.

Also, I find it kinda funny, I mean, you put all this work into neutralizing my wings.. meaning I'm just left with all the movement-options the rest of you usually stick to.
Y'know, problem with skyline defense grids, in my experience is, you are in trouble if anyone has a smart idea with a shovel."
She mused, still jovial, reaching to poke at the goo restraining her wing... slightly less amused at that, admittedly. Nonetheless, she hopped onto a chair and leaned back without prompting.
"So, sidequestion, is there such a thing as a legal invasion of this city?" She tilted her head.

"I notice that this guard-building is not crafted from a living tree. See, I'm not judgemental about these things." She mused. "I figure that goo isn't made by you lot? Grouping together against a common enemy? Pretty neat it's angels though, that could make for easy infiltration." Deva mused, calmly wandering into the cell, well.. she didn't like cells, but this one likely didn't have magic blockers.. well, not for non-holy magic.

"Anyway, I'm not really good at telling you whats going on, y'see, usually I ask other people that and figure out what I need to know from what they tell me and what they don't tell me and leave before anyone's all the wiser. If I were to tell anyone truthfully what I'm up to I'd never get done in the first place." She nodded and then shrugged, with a hint of dejection. "Plus I already tried telling people what I'm going to do. usually I get told it's impossible, lewd, or crazy. Sometimes all three." She tipped her chin, sulking ever so slightly at the restraining feeling on her wings.

"Buuut since you asked nicely.. I'm here to recharge a book. Well, right now I'm waiting for my tea. On second thought, two spoonfuls of honey. That book also helped me get here, though I don't intend to use it for much more than small-talk, I don't want to become dependant on literature, what am I, a wizard? Hah. Anyway." She leaned back, thoughtful for a long moment. So many open questions.
"Hmnnn.. ." She pondered. "What is it driving you folks to conflict, over and over."
