At first, I thought that tune of yours would be heavy metal, superhard rock or something else extreme. But I really enjoyed the rather soft, smooth experience of the song going with that image. :) *thumbs up*

@topic:

The soundtrack to a gameplay video filled to the brim with memes. Fun to watch, but I really liked the tune as well!

Also, german ballad-style music - I couldn't find a video with english lyrics, sorry:

Are you from Germany? Because I wouldn't call it a Ballard.
They are singing about killing people on the roads to get there money and taking woman's alive...
They also sing about how they love this life Style :)

This is a ballad for me
What is saying on the beginning is that he fell in love with a girl that was a good friend to him and when he told her what he's feeling she wasn't feeling the same

(A small taste of the text in english)

how shall a man bear it?
to see you every day
without daring once
to look in your eyes

Or take this here(note but this is a band that not many germans know about)

It's about a woman he saw and fell in love with on first sight.
In the song he tries to describe her beauty and his feelings for her with painting, writing poems and playing music with instruments.
But nothing can describe what he has seen and now he she's that woman in the Stars in the Wind in the Sun....basically everywhere.

Ah sorry, I still owe you a reply. I'm not from Germany, but Austria. And I guess the word "ballad" was a bad choice for that kind of tune, but I couldn't come up with anything else...."kinda-old-and-historic-cutthroats-chant-music"-like. So yes, I guess it's not a ballad. ^^

Also wow, I just realized my last post went into the wrong thread. >.> Gonna ask a mod to take care of moving it for me.

Anyway, keeping the actual topic of music (and german *wink wink* @myria ):

(I actually wanted to link "Die Schlacht", but couldn't find a video with english lyrics :/ )

And a tune I just dug up from deeeeep under my huge pile of MP3s: A tune I first listened to when my brother played it on his cassette player, way back in 2002 or 2003. =D

So, fun times abound...

We went for sushi, then shopping, and then went to see Searching (That John Cho movie, I highly recommend it), and then planned to hit up a Korean cuisine place downtown. Unfortunately, it was full and we weren't likely getting a table for a few hours. Anyways, we hit up a Moxie's and had beer, salt and pepper ribs, and nachos. After that, it was raining, so I let her have my army parka and I managed with my t-shirt over my head and a wife-beater for my torso. We made it to her bed 'n breakfast, parted ways, and I participated in the Guilds of Ravnica Pre-release at midnight.

Thankfully, she seemed to have shrugged it off and sent a similar one back. Crisis averted.

Also, got a Part-time job with a warehouse nearby the local airport. Good pay (for unskilled work) and tons of side benefits that make it worthwhile. My roommate is contented for now.

@Ninja_Named_Bob Well that actually sounds like a nice Friday night. Letting her know you had a good time with her wasn't cringe-worthy I think. Hope the two of you have more fun together in the future. :)

My weekend back then was basically having a cold while already being hospitalized. I was supposed to be able to go home on Saturday until the evening, and I planned to meet up with my family after quite a while of isolation. But my slight sickness didn't allow me to leave. So at least that Saturday, I was both feeling sick and extremely furious and sad.
Fortunately, this weekend things are working out, and I can stay out of the clinic until Sunday evening. Time for family, friends, good food, gaming and music! :)

But i have to thank you @Stuffie because i was thinking all the time should i post a german song...nah maybe not because noone understands but now you opend the door XD

-snip-
Haha, I know how you feel. At first I hesitated too, because I was like "If they don't understand it, they probably won't even listen to it" (which I learned isn't necessarily the truth), but then I figured posting german songs with english lyrics in the video or via link - like you did - might still catch some folks' attention. I prefer the lyrics showing in the video, but unfortunately that's a rather rare thing to find. :/ Still, keep it up, I'm with you! :3

Also, music almost solely done by a wooden machine and marbles - sounds awesome!

I really enjoyed the second tune, @myria !

@topic:

I just opened my MP3 folder, scrolled up and down wildly and randomly played two tunes while posting here and browsing elsewhere. First one:

Second:

*barely catches the spoder tapdancing out of the thread*
*leaves cookie crumps for next time*

@topic:

Last weekend I cleaned up my living room a bit and found the one and only game soundtrack CD I directly imported from Japan. Relistened to some of the tunes, still worth it. ^^

Right now, since I'm already both hooked on the game and overwhelmed by all of its features (that I have unlocked so far):

That reminds me: I should create some minions with ULMF member names...

Some more german music for @myria ;) - again, I couldn't find a video with english lyrics unfortunately.

*leaves "sorry for double-post" cookie for first moderator looking at this*

"Relaxation Station" radio in "Cities: Skylines" provides the perfect tunes to build your own little city full of Renas. :) (Renas are optional, of course)

Still not sure where to build "Girl-Love Zepheral" or "Tapdance Spider" leisure districts...
