The inner courtyard appears to have no entrances. Every window looking out into it, oddly enough, has some manner of high-speed, gatling-styled tennis ball launcher in it. Towards the top, there's a balcony with no doors leading into the building. Somehow, James has managed to be standing on it.

In the courtyard itself, a large group of World of Warcraft gnomes have appeared. Completely unclothed, they've formed a line, and have all begun making train-like motions, while singing Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train" at the tops of their lungs.

While this is going on, James is throwing taunts down at them, with a horribly faked French accent. "I clean my sinuses in your general direction!"

Vice comes screeching to a halt on a balcony, one floor below James. "What the hell is going on here?" he asks, looking at the gnomes.

James turns, then the wind picks Vice up and throws him into one of the lower windows, such that he would land on his feet. "Fire at them!"

The aforementioned tennis ball launchers appear to have an endless ammunition supply.

Mithral, of course, had been curious of the sounds as well. However, she now arrived, having re-changed into her kimono, though still looking sour at the water's replacement.

Eyeing the gnomes, she looks at her host curiously, not saying anything yet.

"Yes sir!" Vice says, saluting, then grabbing the handles of the gun, pulling a Camo Army helmet out of nowhere and placing it on his head "Eat this!" he yells, the gatling gun firing out Tennis balls at an alarming rate of fire and a speed of Mach 1

James down at the newcomer. "Hell if I know. And making a Malk look sane takes some doing."

Meanwhile, Vice's barrage has struck three of the gnomes, causing them to vanish in a gleam of light.

"The gnomes down there. Use one of the fixed emplacements. Won't have to worry about reloads." James resumes his taunting.

Anyone paying any attention would notice that the gnomes seem far more interested in imitating a train, rather than actually fighting back. It would also seem that any "shots" from the tennis-gat seem to just force them back to wherever they came from, rather than causing actual injury.

She smiled a faint grin that dazzled, and took up a position using all of her preternatural skills to blast them one by one.

Mithral focuses, then releases a streaming blast of water that slammed at the gnomes, flowed away, then slammed at them once more before the enchantment let go, giving the grass a good watering.

Mithral's water blast, however, seemed to have no effect. The gnomes seemed to merely ignore the effect of the wave, and continue with what they were doing.
