Re: Fairy Fighting

Quick question - so Eluku removed the option to pick what opponent to put fairy against and from what I've gathered you have to defeat every single opponent one by one in one game session to unlock this option again. Is this correct? If so could someone maybe upload somewhere a save of sorts with all the monsters unlocked if there is any kind of a save?
You can still choose. Hit up.
He talked about it, and hasn't implemented yet. I can't imagine that being the case until the game is "finished".
^ Testing purposes I guess.

If that ends up being the case, I'll be rather disappointed. I want porn, not Street fighter 10. If it ends up being just a frustrating game were I have to put more energy into actually fighting rather than..ahem...'enjoying' myself, then it's not really worth the trouble.

Oh come on. The game is not that hard to beat if you try. I'm awful at it and yet I still manage to beat the enemies with out a coherent strategy other than mashing random attacks due to not understanding how most of the attacks work.

The only time I'd bitch is if you had to do it all over again EVERY update to see what's new.

Re: Fairy Fighting

Are you implying that you'd actually be interested in Fairy Fighting if it wasn't about sex under the pretext of a fighting game? I don't mind the fighting aspect of it at all, but I don't play the game itself recreationally. I think the current system is perfect. It lets you play the game all the way through if you actually want to, but if you're just trying to get your rocks off you can, rather than trudging through an ever growing roster of monsters, many of which may cover fetishes you're not necessarily into anyway.

Re: Fairy Fighting

If it's really THAT big of a problem for you all you need to do is rename the enemy that you want to 'fight' 's file to the that of the enemy that comes first.

Then beat them first. I wouldn't mind that if, on the last update, this is added. The idea that I'd have to beat all of them to get to Frost Wolf's single new move would be kinda ridiculous, though.

Know what's even better than that? Leaving the system the way it is. I'm not really seeing a compelling argument for why it SHOULD be made more difficult to get what you want.

I'm not seeing why this is even a game at all? Why isn't it just a gallery of gifs

That's a straw man. I never suggested that the game itself should be disposed of. I just want to be able to select who I fight, and keep the watch mode for when I don't feel like doing anything but...watching. The way people are reacting, you'd think I was proposing Fairy Fighting got turned into an RTS. I was just supporting the option of maintaining the current setup rather than making it more difficult for someone to enjoy the actual porn side of it.

Re: Fairy Fighting

Because you don't make it sound like the problem is the lack of option, which most people would agree with you on, since the option still allows you to not use it. You come off in your argument more as someone who has picked and chosen their own level of moderation between my clearly sarcastic response and the other extreme of uphill battling, but failed to recognize anyone else's stance in the scale.

Now, I know that's not the case, but defending yourself with "I think I'd just rather leave then renaming a file" is going to get people mocking your stubborn laziness. I've been on your side of this argument in this board many times, stating that everyone has a right to criticize even the freest of games. But that comes with both the realization that people have rights to criticize my criticism, and with the acceptance that I only complain because there's nothing within my power to change the facts to better suit myself.

Like it has been suggested, you can switch the files yourself. Or more likely, considering how little each update consists of, once Eluku releases the final product with no level skip options, you go ahead and just download the file right before it, since the game will almost likely be the exact same, without that option removed.

Re: Fairy Fighting

All this is why I think the game needs extra 'playable' characters.
Not, being able to play a monster 1 on 1. But unlockables such as Naga Girl, Fallen Fairy or other characters that (once you beat the whole game as Tiki) you can go and play them vs all the other monsters to get more content.

That is seriously in the future though as Eluku seams more concerned with making extra monsters for Tiki to be raped by than creating alternative playing characters to receive the raping.

But saying I was 'too lazy to change file names' was an actual argument, not a gripe. It was another talking point for how silly the idea is of making the process more convoluted and difficult for no reason. Instead of a counter argument, I got basically flamed for daring to have a small critique of Eluku's proposal, as if I had somehow spoken blasphemy against some sort of religious idol.

Flamed? That's not a flame, that's me saying I really don't care enough about you or this argument to continue it. I have better things to do with my time than argue about a problem that isn't even relavent yet, and has several easy solutions already despite it's non-existence.

Well fundamentally, the problem always boils down to "its too much work". A monster-vs-monster setup would require a brand new monster character AND girl-monster-on-monster specific rape animations/graphics. Essentially, you're asking for the ENTIRE game to be redrawn since all the current art is designed for Tiki-vs-monster.

The problem is the work load. Add one monster for Tiki to fight and Eluku only has to do the art for that monster and Tiki. Add another playable character and Eluku has to create art for the 14+ monsters that the character will be raped by.

You run into the issue that Project X is currently facing. Too many playable characters and no extra monsters or levels being added because of the work load.

Yeah, it's easier to be behind the computer and to play a full game than being the developer

Clearly, that's not the case, as you spent several post directly antagonizing me rather than addressing the actual point of contention.
