I would gladly buy the game on Steam, to support him and hope that he may continue to launch future or even old titles on it, but yes... paying for an "incomplete" version would not be really fair. But with the quantity of games already on Steam which have patches available, I have faith that this game will also have one.

Step 1 will do jackshit considering the game is still going to be displayed in your Recent Activity - unless you'll set your whole profile to private of course.

Sounds like your sound driver or card/chip might be having issues.
Easiest thing to try would be to reinstall or update your sound drivers.

Though I’m impressed, I am disappointed there do not appear to be game over scenes of you lose. All this Femdom, and no hero captured and hopeless at the end, just sent back to base to retry?

Did he give any indication on how big the game would be? I doubt it would be like Parade Buster, with over 100 girls, but I'm guessing it will probably have a decent amount, being his proud resurgence after all.

Wait Parade Buster had 56 girls not 100. Even with that said, it has been a year and a half since Parade Buster was released so there is a possibility that there will be a good amount of girls in Smash Boy. My guess is between 40-50 girls.

Why in the name of everything holy would you want DRM for your hentai?

I know what you mean; the limitations seems to be caused by the game engine he uses. Because he uses either 2D Fighter Maker or RPG Maker, he can only make the player stand up or lie down while the enemy performs an action. He also needs space for other enemies to pile onto the player, so the first enemy can never perform anything too creative. He is filling a niche for people who like to watch male players lose to female enemies, but he could probably do more with a game engine that didn't restrain him.

I want to support the author. I don't use DLsite so my options are either Anime-Sharing or Steam.
Steam DRM hasn't spoil my fun for any other game. Will it change for hentai? I just hope not. I'm willing to try this Steam eroge thing for once.
At worse, I'll just lose a few bucks and will no longer get fooled. I assume Excess-m is also trying to see if it can work.

You could buy that version to support him and then just download the adult version off of AS or the like.

The design looks alright but the animations seem like he put less work into them.

It might be either because Parader Buster is more detail and/or that he does not have everything implemented in the current demo. Either way, it does seem to be enough to get everyone hyped out for the beginning of August.

It is just a demo, though. Probably shouldn't take it as if the final product will be like that. He probably had to cut and rush some things just to give us a playable trial. Or maybe he did put less effort int he animations in order to add in more types of enemies or something. There's always a choice to be made with the time you have.
Though, in my opinion, even if the quality stayed the same... it's still miles ahead of the majority of other games released and their games always have been.

Since this game is coming to Steam, would it be funny if zzinzinz somehow got his game to appear on Nintendo Switch? It would really confuse people seeing Smash Boy in the eShop thinking it was a Super Smash Bros game.

Also I adore how this game is a mix of Double Dragon and Godhand put together. When the full release does come out I'm definitely getting this.
