If anyone's wondering, if the heart icon is black pressing the A key on Itsuki will tell you the conditions. The game is actually quite simple, and thank god there's an option to switch to different levels/phases once you get the ending.

Re: 白の従士と闇の従者 I figure they've added either two additional endings or added additional scenes to the existing endings. There's four scenes in the older version; the scene after the prologue but before gameplay plus all the three endings count as separate scenes.
