Okay, let's kick off a new thread for this one.
This is the sequel to LAB -still alive-, both by nekonomeme, a one-man-team developing the game in their spare time (?).

Type: 2D Metroidvania (somewhat melee-focused)
Platform: Clickteam Fusion 2.5
Features: Sprite sex, GOR, soft vore
Controls:
Z: Jump/Cancel/Exit
X: Ranged attack
C: Melee attack/Select/Confirm
A: Dodge backwards
S: Reload ranged weapon
D: Block (some weapons only)
Q: Show map
W: Show menu
1: Zoom in (while not bound)
2: Zoom out (while not bound)
Up: Talk/Interact/Zoom in (while bound)
Down: Crouch/Zoom out (while bound)
Alt+Enter: Full screen
F2/F12: Reset game

That's not how you start a thread about a popular game sequel. Are you new to this forum? Follow the template.

First, rename the thread "nekomomene lab game @" or something with at least one obvious, sloppy typo. Then, for your text body, cut out all that information and shit you have clogging up the OP. Replace it with something retarded (I selected hot dog cat, but it's subjective, so be creative).

On a topic related discussion, I wonder if this will be the prequel/parallel sort of story, and will there be cameo appearance of our heroine from the first one?

Probably one that ended with fighting blue haired girl as the final boss?

As far as I can make it out:

Setting is an underground mining/research facility.
Story takes place after the storyline of Still Alive.
There's been some kind of accident in the facility.
ミサ (the heroine of 1, I think) was there at the time, her whereabouts are now unknown.
You've got to save her!
So once again, a mysterious institute that suddenly has an accident.
Or... was it really an accident, or is there some kind of mastermind behind it?
And where is ミサ?
Think of the boobs! Gotta save the boobs.

So there should be a bit more story through the game this time around, though it's yet undecided if it will be through text or character animation.
Part of the plot might revolve around some aphrodisiac gas found in the back of the mines, related to the research of the main character somehow.

Well. I guess we'll find out more as this gets more... fleshed out.

The enemies are just frozen in the test, is that intentional?

I hope this sequel has a return of the health drink girl. I feel she was "underused" in the first one, although she did take a long time to heal damage.

Ah, here's that thread. Updated title for now, since we have a name now:
Lab2 - under ground -
Since, I guess, we're in a mine this time around.

Other than that, I don't think there's too much to mention.
Still working on it, making progress, fighting the new framework.
In the latest update, there's something about "whoa, has it been 3 months since that tech demo got uploaded?",
and something about the start of next month, but I'm not sure if it's "there will be another demo" or just "help, time is passing so quickly".
Autotranslate doesn't quite make things out too well this time around.

A redhead that he says was based off of Ada from Resident Evil series

There is a trial version on the blog. Only one enemy for now, though I can see another. I can't seem to jump up to the platform to get to it, so it looks like it's there to tease for now.

Basic controls are the same, though she uses a bow and a sword this time. There also doesn't appear to be a menu that I can open to see what sorts of equipment or weapon slots there are.

Still a good sign. We have a working build to get our hands on, so here's hoping we see a partial or full version in the first few months of the new year. Also, press 3 to zoom in and 4 to zoom out. Not sure if that was in the first game, but it's here now.

Odd. I tried that and it didn't appear to be working unless my input was dodgy.

I figured it out, if you stand on the block and jump to the left to get up to the platform, the double jump doesn't work, and that's where I tried it.
