Gabriel enters his assigned room, noticing the single bed on one wall, pleased that it was a single room, and even more pleased upon seeing it had a desk and reading lamp.
Within no less than an hour or so, the desk had become a workbench, small precise tools and different watches set out amongst the sea of small and intricate parts, Gabriel himself sitting at the desk with a pair of special glasses with multiple lenses on them, examining one watch and looking over at others, his hands moving with surgical precision as he lost himself in a world of fine machinery and symphonic ticking only someone as attuned to the noise as he could hear.
