I wonder if op wants something post-Cold War. Do any first-world nations even develop naval ordinance worth purchasing? I feel like there's more focus on the air. Naval warfare is a lost art...

Naval warfare is still really important. It's mostly submarine based now though. Nothing for the consumer market, but submarines are used for a lot of things including being basically stealthy missile launchers and ambushing bigger ships. Modern submarines is why we'll probably never see battleships in modern warfare
