An artist I'm following on Pixiv is about to release a monster girl platforming game.

Story
You play as the young hero Ashita trying to save the world from monster girls.

Gameplay Via dood:
Standard platformer sidescroller in that the player is tasked with traveling to the right of the screen while hitting enemies with their one melee attack (there is also an upward slash and a downward aerial stab). The player has a spirit talisman in front of them at all times which allows for the blocking of projectiles and melee attacks provided the player is not attacking. If the player is defeated, the player can choose to have sex with monsters at the current location by pressing X or to be taken to the dungeon to have sex. Pressing spacebar when no monster girl is having sex with the player will end these H-scenes (the player can also press spacebar upon defeat to try and quickly retry a stage) and a CG of a randomly present monster will be displayed before bumping the player back to the start menu. Defeating enemies will reward the player EXP which they can choose to spend on items or stat buffs on the overworld screen (press X to access the stage menu. The last two items on the right are permanent stat buffs that become more expensive to purchase each time). Defeating bosses will spawn a chest that gives a random beneficial item.

Controls
Arrow Keys to move
Z - Dash - Consumes SP
X - Jump - Go Backwards in Menu
C - Attack - Go Forward In Menu

Extra Controls/tips
While crouching, Jump to do a short hop type jump. Not very useful.
While you have a powerup, press up and attack to do an uppercut. If you have the doublejump powerup you can press down and attack in the air to do a down slash.
While you have doublejump press UP+Jump to do a normal double jump.
Pop the balloon at the end of levels to give you a shortcut to the boss

During the BF minigame
1 = z
2 = x
3 = c
Press the correct button as soon as you see it to rack up combo. The longer you last the more EXP you'll get.

You can spend EXP in the shop. The shop can be opened from the worldmap with the X key. There you can buy powerups to start the map with. For instance, in order to beat level 3, you must have the doublejump powerup to go left and get the key first. This is only possible by buying the leaf from the shop.

Oh lol... I found something that makes this game a cakewalk. The last item you can buy in the shop. All the way on the right is an extra heart. If you increase your life the game is much easier.

When you die all the enemy types you were fighting line up and you choose who fucks you. I would like it more if the one who beats you fucked you.

Its convenient if you're looking for a specific scene but it just doesn't sit well with me for some reason.

It makes sense for the gameplay style in my opinion.

It looks like the scene can get messy with all of that jumping around. It also seems like some monsters are support monsters that don't directly attack you. This way the sex engagement doesn't have to clash with the gameplay, so he can do what he wants on a gameplay level.

I do think it's a unique aspect for his game though.

How I understand the description is that the monster girls take turns raping you if you lose.

I personally would be okay with a thread that showcases an about to be released game on the stipulation that the OP be properly updated as time passes. Though the rules do explicitly state all posts on games in development or not released\incomplete go into the under construction sub-forum. Eh more work for the mods I guess?

I looked at these "graphics" and instantly recalled an annoying dude from the MGG threads on 4chan who would post similar, shitty art of Chrome and Luka. It was an eyesore there, it's an eyesore here.

I don't remember fans of Reverse Rape being so picky considering how rare these games used to be.

I mean, critiquing something and expressing disdain for a particular art-style involves having standards for what type of media I want to consume. I know the h-games community is overburdened with people who lack standards (if Cloud Meadows and a few other choice titles with sketchy histories is anything to go by), but I prefer not to be counted among that group.

Cloud Meadows has the highest quality animation out of any adult game I've seen period.

I'm not saying having standards is a bad thing btw. I just remember the days when these kind of games were so rare, that people ate up anything monster girl related. Remember when Dargoth made posts on his blog for female assertive monster girl games? I think it's a good thing that you have so many games to play, you can say "not that one."

Not sure why you assumed I was talking about the art or animation of CM when I indicated it was more about the history it shares with its creator. I'm sure it's a good-looking, polished tech demo and that the team is working on it. I'm also sure its main dev has a rather ominous history in the h-games community that people were so ready to forgive if you care to notice how quickly the project got funded.

I'm not qualified to address whether there ever was a surplus of reverse-rape/shota/monster girl content prior to MGQ, or if it could be chalked up as people were too lazy to look. I do know that, from the time the first chapter of the main series of Monster Girl Quest was released, Dieselmine was pretty well-known in the community for their contributions. Since then, the content available for the MG genre has only grown, as has the audience. With that has come a surplus of content that, while some may be inclined to say "don't be picky", or "have standards, but don't bitch about more content", was mostly "meh" or unfinished. Hell, Monster Girl Island is as-yet unfinished. Quest Failed is still in development Hell iirc. A game I was backing since the start (Monster Girls and Sorcery) has not had a new blog update in quite some time. My most recent investment into the available in-development content, Monster Girl Dreams, has its developer currently focusing more on side content and "adding to" parts that he felt needed more "depth" (it's a porn game about monstrous women raping your character for having the balls to pursue their dream of being an adventurer. "Depth" isn't exactly a quantifiable value past the intro.) rather than expanding into the final 2-3 areas.

That last one smacks of Fenoxo's own issues with CoC and how he got burned out to the point he just said "fuck it", gave us a half-assed "final dungeon", and lets the modding community do their thing with light restrictions. He won't even touch the sequel despite the massively-superior engine (same one he's using for TiTS iirc), the money being put forward to make it happen, and the amount of investment from fans. TiTS is his true baby, so Savin can have CoC2: Electric Cock-a-loo and the migraines associated with it. Who even played Fall of Eden.

Tl;dr standards prevent me from blindly embracing things that I will later regret embracing and asking myself if it was worth being invested in the first place. It's a difficult concept for a lot of people around here, and I pity them. Done here, since I don't want to distract from the thread topic any further.

I shall now pray that the game isn't as difficult as "Monsters n' Girls" is... Never have I hated old school platformers more than when I played that game.

Sucks that Death Homo Man quit. Maybe Monsters N' Girls didn't make as much as he thought it would? Or maybe he just got bored, or found a normal job.

This game doesn't seem to have that kind of platforming focus so I doubt it'll be that difficult.

The game is out by the way with about 24 different types of enemies. Looks like it isn't just animation but CG as well. I'm guessing due to each boss having two animations that there is about 30 different animations give or take.

Also from what I saw when I saw it there doesn't seem to be a demo yet so good luck with that.

My boy Aesthetic making this thread. I was looking forward to this game a few months back. I hope there's some variety in the H-scenes, but the low price point has got be worried. I I'll buy it once someone tells me if there are different sex positions besides just normal sex...
