i like linemarvels stuff a lot, jungle girl and demon girl are some of the best stuff i have ever played, but to be perfectly honest, if he did release mystic girl, when scheduled, then it would have got rave reviews to begin with, then everyone would just say "it was good, but demon/jungle girl was better"

i think that it is good that it died a legend, instead of becoming a mediocre game that the fans would be let down by.

Lolwut, no, actually I think people are supposed to get better, as they become ready to put more and more work into later creations, even if he had made a "failure" or "not as good" game, he would get right back on the horse, and probably would improve to make a better game.

So you're opinion is disregarded, the fact that Linemarvel ran off and quit game-design is all fine and well, but neither I, nor anybody else, has to like it.

so what we know is a picture of mystic girl, a tentacle and we know of the sentinel mechanic. so it was probably going to be an alright game, about the same level as demon girl is a safe bet.

i never said that he would never make another good game, you point out where i said it, i just said that it would be like everything else like it, i predicted the same thing would happen for a lot of things, people said that "modern warfare 2" would be the greatest game of all time, after it had been out for 2 months i asked peoples opinion and most of them said "modern warfare 1 was better."

i believe that if mystic girl were to come out now, then it would have been too over-hyped and as such everyone would be expecting to mush from it, from the comments i have read on other boards about it, i would expect to download it, then mystic girl herself would materialise in my living room and demand sex from me.

i'm not saying it would be a bad game, it's just it would be universally considered to be "not as good as demon girl and/or jungle girl

Ok, that's full of lies, nobody is going to believe that except the idiots, it may be extremely over hyped but alot of people just respected LM as an upcoming artist who showed potential, me included.

And I did not quote "think Mystic Girl would materialise out of nowhere and have sex with me" when it came out, to be honest I expected something similar to Demon Girl, with slightly more variety.

And no I have nothing against Australians, except the ones that haunt me in my sleep ( on regular intervals I might include ).

neither do I even bother going there much any more, due to unworkable circumstances.

I just have a strong opinion that anybody who promises something as an artist with that much enthusiasm should put up on their site that they're stopping the project, that's fine,
but when you leave people hanging just because you're goddamn lazy it actually causes me moderate irritation, despite level skill.
