Josie saw the small girl and waved.

"Hey, this is my friend Dixie, she'll be helping us."

Josie turns to Dixie first, raising her towards the door, as if about to ask she take the lead, when she stopped and turned towards Lin.

"We got a heading?"

Lin poked her head out the door and scanned around for monsters.
Then seeing that it's reasonably clear, she pointed towards the direction the Sniper dude had shown her.

"That sniper dude at the top of the building said she went that a way towards a 7-11."

Josie brandishes her axe, fixes a few her clothes and gives a nod to the two girls.

"All right, then that's where we go."

Josie opened the front door and walked outside, waiting for the others to assemble right outside.

Lin pulled out her handgun and creeps forwards, staying alert.

As the only unarmed girl, Josie falls behind Lin, making sure to stay in between the two girls with firearms. She knew she was fast, so she'd have no problem closing distance if they spot a monster, but she doesn't want to be at a disadvantage when they first encounter one.

As the three headed towards the 7-11, two centipedes, likely ones that Rin gave birth to, were skulking around it. Both of the bugs saw the three girls, and began to trail along the ground towards them...

( One bug is heading towards Dixie, the other is headed towards Lin )

At the sight of the centipedes Lin backed up and took 2 rapid shots at the bug closing in on her.

(you didn't mention us seeing them, so I'm just gonna assume we did)
Josie froze her step momentarily, registering this new creature, before lunging forward with her axe and attacking (centipede #2)

( Yeah, if you were unaware, I would have said something like, "Josie was picking her nose while staring at the sky, failing to notice ebil monsters approaching her." )

(Josie attacks)

As Josie was about to cleave the monster after Dixie, it suddenly turned on her, and forced her to back away from it's attempt to snare her.



(Lin attacks, two shots)

Lin wailed into the centipede headed for her, as both shots landed in it's carcass, killing it on the spot.



Dixie was surprised by the sudden attack, as she must not have been paying attention.

A third Centipede, likely wandering, heard the sudden gunfire, and snuck up behind Dixie as it entered the fray, tackling her from behind, and encasing her in it's arms.

Lin turned scanned around for a new threat, and saw that Dixie was under attack, she aimmed for a weak spot and shot 1 round at the bug.
(You know I realized why Rin lost now, she had a .38...)

Unphased by its try to snag her, Josie rolled her axe in hand and pushed once more towards the centipede, bring her axe down overhead towards its body

(Lin attacks, Aimed head shot)

Her single bullet manages to rip past the bugs head, although merely taking a chunk off of the side, it backs off of Dixie.



(Josie attacks)

The bug crawls to the side, as Josie's axe slams into the concrete of the road.

She quickly manages to free her axe, before the bug could pounce her.

Lin was glad that the bullet didn't hit Dixie but wasn't very satisfied that she missed.
Lin fires two more bullets after the monster.
