Hello, everyone. I'm thinking of putting together a Ravenloft like game, similar themes but a Dark Lady and land of my own creation. Still hammering out some of the ideas and such so this is mostly an interest check right now and to get some idea of what people that are interested would play. Just a general character idea is fine, I'm still seeing if any characters options won't be allowed in my game but definitely using 5e (official stuff only please).
The plan for the start of the game is for the players and their mentor (whoever taught them to be a mage, paladin, rogue, etc) are attending a party in the capitol city when things go wrong. This will let the party get some RP in before I introduce the event that starts the group on their quest to stop the Dark Lady.
