So, im thinking of doing some streaming.
My two questions are:
Would you watch it and where could i stream porn games?
Don't think twitch or Youtube would allow it. x3

Re: Streaming

I personally do not watch streams a lot, as I prefer to have vids/clips available whenever I need. I understand that many streaming sites archive the streams for people to see, but I'm going to assume you did mean live streaming (if not, disregard the above points).

As for porn games... I don't know. Usually when I watch Let's Plays it's for the personality of the streamer, usually because they're funny or at least amusing - or, alternately, because they are extremely skilled or knowledgeable about the game.

In that regard, I suppose having a walkthrough of a game might be interesting, but that also requires that as a streamer, you'll probably need to read up on the game beforehand, and that it is indeed a game involving some skill, as opposed to a lot of porn games where the gameplay is.... lacking, as it were.

Just my 0.02$ :)

Re: Streaming

Well, in regards with providers, most every one of them has two clauses that shut down streaming.

a) Most usually have a 'No pornography' clause which is defined usually as 'What is the primary point of the game?". Note, some games get around this, but they're on a case by case basis.

b) They also have a catchall clause which amounts to 'If it makes us look bad, we're going to shut you down'

Some will also try to nail you on copyright grounds.

That all being said, with a couple of the setups (Youtube and Hitbox.tv) you can list a channel as private. In Youtube's case, you can force login/passwords as well.

Ustream was used previously for some Japanese h-game players for a couple of specific games as well.

(I was thinking about it myself and did a lot of enquiry, but a house fire ended that idea. I'm in cleanup mode (Stuff survived but the residence is a writeoff) but if you want me to answer questions on how to do it, PM me and I'll fire over all the notes I have on the subject.)
