Re: The lone mansion. (Experimental)
Lila stays in the commons. She thinks about how she became a human. She remembers being mechanical. A robot in the literal sense of the word. She was built from ordered parts by her master, Marisa. For a while, Marisa treated her like a little sister, despite not being able to notice it at the time.
She was a maintenance robot. Built for the upkeep of Marisa's lab, which consisted of inventions used for the betterment of mankind. Like null space tents, containers, real life virtual pets, etc. She was programmed to be cheery all the time.
Which led to very awkward conditions one day as Darkmites, spawned by a death of a star as bright as a blue sun. Unfortunately, near the moon, which the lab is stationed.
The Darkmites have the ability to wriggle through the human mind and corrupt. Bringing out the dark corners of the mind, twisting Marisa into an evil mad scientist.
After that, she has made various creatures. Gelgirls, Swampgels, Living water, leechipus, and other weird creatures. In which she would take the inhabitants of the earth, and test them on. Oftentimes testing their reproduction systems.
One fateful day, Marisa had an idea using her previously made technologies. She turned her attention to the robot she once called her little sister. Unknowingly and cheerfully, the robot which was Lila at the time, went through with a transformation experiment. An experiment that'd give her a permanent human to test on.
Her HUD looked strange. Contorted as the experiment left her activated. Experiencing it all. Her translator started to activate and deactivate. Her data returned garbled messages. Even her Power meter was dancing around like a sound meter. She then felt numb. As numb as a robot can feel anyway, then she felt cold. By this time, her life force was set to be similar to a void in space, giving her human nerve endings. Then felt more confused than cheerful.
After that, she was placed in a cel. Where other humans go to await experiments. She didn't last long though, since an unnamed hero busted through Marisa's lab. Lila was one of the victims saved from the evil lab.
After that, she was invited to a rift in time. A lone mansion in the most literal sense of the word. In a world where the mansion's front and back can be seen within a few steps. In it, a lot of people were in it.
A swordmaster, which she may have been assimilated from for her appearance. A wolfman, which she had a relationship with until the swordmaster faded into obscurity and shut him away. A few aquaintances that never really got to know her, and her best friend, an Android that had multicolor hair. She was built to be a maid there, but Lila could relate to her.
After many years, she lost her friends due to various reasons. The swordmaster just... left. The wolfman was banned from the manor. The rest parted ways, and lastly, the android's coding expired. Before that happened, she invented the bed for the Android to rest in, but has never developed the technology to restore her heavily encrypted programming.
Lila sighs. "Such a way human life can be, thoughts.wav...." She frowns a little. (Mood -1, realization +1) She then looks to the box the silly swordmaster once hid herself away in. Now used as a decoration. She then thinks again.
