I just don't think it's fair to judge for a multitude of reasons. I don't need to go all the way into it psychologically though, as one of the main reasons is hypocrisy. Tell me, what is this forum about? What is a HUGE amount of it's traffic and users from? Hentai. The biggest medium of hentai on this forum by far is games. And games, by their very function, need conflict. So how do most games with sexual content do conflict? Fucking rape. So every time I hear any user openly criticize any fetish, the first thing I wanna do is look through their post history, and how much you wanna bet they showed an interest in a game with rape?

Basically, before I even go into why it's fair to have or develop ANY fetish, I think it's important to notice all these people who can jerk off to the thought of forcing sex on someone while looking down on anything that includes consent as "sick."

I remember seeing an episode or two on CSI (or one of those crime series) about actual vore. The real stuff is really strange. I can completely understand where the OP is coming from if they're talking about the real thing, as most people on these forums likely detest most of the real stuff in fetish porn. That's why we like hentai, because actual human beings having sex often tend to be ugly and gross.

That's not to say hentai doesn't have its fair share of grossness, but watching a couple real girls suck off a guy and then spit the semen in each others' mouths hardly compares to watching an anime girl getting eaten by a frog monster. I admit, once I found this vore thing, I searched it in google and the first image I found was some cute cartoon. lol it seems like vore fans really know how to give a good first impression. but unfortunately the thing is, it's not limited the anime. some people go it beyond to the real life, such as the example I posted above. also there is this phenomenon I discovered, we are destined to be corrupted, the default level of this world is always dark/cold. and there is this stream. it starts from somewhere, and always has an end. at the beginning it may look so innocent, but its end is always not really pleasant. so if we caught to a stream which leads us to somewhere dark, then it's almost impossible to escape from it once caught. I would say it's more like an addiction, it develops over time, change its form,so we never know. like someone said early, we will probably like some anime generation which we hate now. it happens because of this phenomenon.

Let me see if I can fairly break down why this blew up. Please do understand that you are talking about things in people's minds, so when you use the word "sick,' even if you don't direct it at the people, you're directing it at thoughts, that they have, which is still saying that those people are sick, mentally.

The rest of the breakdown at that point is just forum etiquette. If you didn't understand the differences between vore and cannibalism, I get it. That's ok. But since vore is hentai, this would not be a topic that goes in this section. And when starting a topic, the point is a discussion. I realize that you were taken aback upon learning what vore was, (it's fairly extreme) but if you read your first post right now, does it sound like it's trying to start a discussion? In the H section, when people are sharing a specific product, they just need to give out the information, and people can discuss it. In comment sections like this one, it usually starts with some sort of question or at least a prompt people can use.

So, your first post isn't sharing information on it, it just brings it up. There is no prompt for people to use like the "I hate ____" or "I love ____" threads, and there is no question, asking people why they like it, or asking them to explain what it's about. Now does it make more sense why the first rep you got was "Are you just shitposting or trying to actually start a discussion? Because it kinda looks like the former. " Because it doesn't look like a discussion. Now, sure, after you put it out there, people could just take the ball and run with it, but as far as forum etiquette goes? I know it sounds like an unwritten rule (which would be admittedly unfair), but it works mainly the same way any social situation would. It's like someone just walked up to a group of people and said "I hate vore." Yeah, maybe someone in the group will turn and go "Yeah, I know what you mean, I heard about it the other day and.." but equally valid of a response is one of them going "...k."

If you approach the table with your arms crossed and your mind closed, the most predictable response of people at that table is to cross their arms and close their mind off to you. That's what happened here.

I'd say that, if you'd like to, you could edit your first post and perhaps fix that tonation, but now that someone did respond to you with information and we've learned that it IS mostly a hentai-based focus, it probably belongs in that section. So if you'd like to post a thread there about it and perhaps understand how some people can come to like the idea (keeping in mind that sometimes people like kinks and fetishes not for the obvious reason, eg; liking age/size difference only as a magnification of feeling helpless against your partner or them to you, not just because they're a different age or size), then we could make the first post reflective of that goal. But this thread at this moment, as indicated by the first post, seems goal-less.

As Toxic had mentioned, I find the hierarchy of porn acceptability to be utterly ridiculous. As is the hypocrisy. "It's okay if I get off to X porn because I wouldn't do it in real life, but damn who could get off to Y porn? You wouldn't do that in real life!"

My general rule of thumb is, enjoy what you enjoy as long as nobody is hurt by it. If you do want to actually hurt yourself or someone else though, that's not healthy and you should seek help for that.
