i am done with 1st stage but weirdly after i go back to that small house to escape , everything stops and nothing is happening. Is this a bug or something?

Based on their twitter it sounds like a bug--and we may need a new version for a fix.
I'm not sure how long the demo goes but I'm going to try to get there in that and see if you can use a save to get past it.
