Alice did indeed have luck on her side it seemed. As her desperate struggling resulted in her victory by means of a few lucky hits to the right places on the kobolds. The creatures fading away into dust like the first had, and she'd find herself standing naked, and more or less utterly helpless for the moment. She couldn't go back, and most likely the next enemy she encountered would defeat her. Was this really any better then the kobolds?

Alice gains +70 EXP for defeating the kobolds.

Alice grit her teeth as she collected herself. This was ridiculous. So early in and she was already beat up this heavily. Gritting her teeth, the woman marched forwards to the door on the North side of the room. No. She was not giving up here. She was going to keep moving forward no matter what happened. She was going to lift this curse one way or another.

Alice seemed to get lucky, heading North she found a dead end. The room being what seemed to be...a magically maintained bath? It looked safe, and she might be able to recover a bit if she tried to bathe in it.

Alice eyed the pool warily. On one hand, it could easily turn out to be a trap. On the other hand, she was dirty, tired and in dire need of resting after her last encounter. She decided it was better to take the risk and attempt to recover as much as she could rather than continue in her current, pathetic state. Sighing, the woman slipped into the water, intending to take a bath and hoping nothing would go wrong.
