"In Game Knowledge Base - Options and Settings
Options and settings set at the start of the game can not be changed during a session. This includes difficulty, level, settings such as Humans and Monsters, and the frequency at which they appear."

In Game Knowledge Base - Commands
Although the EGG does not have any specific commands to preform any options, it can detect thought patterns which prompt pop up messages usually relaying somewhat helpful information. For example, when at a checkpoint a player can merely think about saving and quitting to save and quit.

When links are viewed in a popup, a player may also simply think about the link as opposed to clicking it.
