"Hey, it's not like I planned on destroying his ass," Benton comments.

"Damn, oh well, guess we're staying in Oldale tonight," Benton says once the nurse had told him about his Poochyena. "Want to go grab a bite to eat?"

"Long as they allow smoking." Jack says, setting the Torchic back on his right shoulder and smiling.

There were signs everywhere inside the Pokemon Center that say "No Smoking".

Jack finally notices one of the signs, then frowns. "Well, that plan's out of the question. No smoking in here." he says, interlacing his fingers behind his head as his Torchic hops up on his head and begins chirping.

"Guess that make sense," Benton comments before calling over Shitake, and then walks into the cafeteria area to see what was available.

The cafeteria had almost every food imagineable available for order.

"Hrm... I think I'll have... a burger and fries... with a chocolate milkshake," Benton decides after several minutes pondering over the menu. "And a fruit bowl for Shitake."

"They wouldn't happen to have some charcoal, would they? Torch likes that." Jack says, as Torch perks up and starts chirping. "Alright, alright, calm down. I think I'll have some hot wings. Doubt they'll be as hot as the wings back home, but what's a man to do?" he says, then grabs his torchic and holds him down in his arms. "I'll take some fries to go with that, and the hottest hot sauce you have." he states, giving Benton the impression that he loved things hot.

*After taking their order, an attractive waitresss came back and delivered their meals.*

Benton thanks the waitress as she delivers their meals before quickly tucking into his, Shitake attacking his own bowl of fruit with almost as much energy as his trainer.

Jack sets his Torchic on the ground as he takes his food, then sits down at a table and begins to munch on the hot wings, handing Torch bits and pieces of meat as he eats, his face slowly reddening and sweat forming on his face as he eats.

The waitress smiles as the boys and their pokemon began eating their food and went back to waiting tables.

As jack tears into his meal, he looks over at Benton with a mouth full of meat, then gulps "So, remind me where we were going again?" he asks, then takes another bite and begins chewing. "Wash hopin' to hea' fo' home mehsel'" he says, his speech broken from the meal he was currently chewing
