Slightly different than the OOC thread. Since this is a modern military themed RP based off real world weaponry, unit and so forth, this thread is available for anyone to ask questions regarding technology, equipment tactics and so forth. Myself or Ronny will answer the question in here as best we can.

These are some terms not in the links Ronny provided

FOB - Forward Operating Base (indirectly explained in link)
LAV - Light Armored Vehicle (the Americans either call them L.A.V.s or Strikers.

Canucks call them LAVs or Boats)
QRF - Quick Response Force

I also love the difference of "Screw the pooch" between Americans and Canadians

Yeah the list ain't perfect, but it was easier than writing them all out. I prefer the difference in shack rat between Americans and Canadians. Here it just means a soldier who spends his freetime in the barracks rather than going out.
