Your points expire after 1 year of your points not changing (whether gain or use)

As long as you login and click on the flower daily you should be fine.

well I don't know how popular paypal is in japan, but I can tell you for sure that LOTS of japan users have Visa/Mastercard credit cards associated to their dlsite accounts.

Losing those processors out of the blue is a huge deal for their userbase and a big hit for them, I'm sure and I hope they will fix this situation asap.
