Hunting party [Lin, Iris]

Lin and Iris proceed out of the building, ready to begin their hunt for the monsters that roam the city.

Lin was a little worn, but she felt she could continue hunting.

Lin once again took out 2 pistols, and fed fresh clips to both of them.
This time she's more careful, hoping to finally master duel wielding the 2 9mm pistols.

Iris glanced around the city, keeping an eye out for anything. At the moment she didn't see much but knew something was lurking in the shadows or in the sewers. The feeling made her sick. Iris wished that other woman had come along, she looked tough and honestly, stronger then her. However Iris knew if she was ever going to get any stronger then she was going to have to start fighting on her own instead of relying on other people.

Iris had looked over Lin, for some reason she seemed a bit worn out. Iris wondered why. Had she been out hunting before?

Iris drew her short sword out with her right hand and put her 9mm away. Iris glanced over to Lin, she noticed that Lin had two handguns out, and said-

" Ready? "

Lin nodded, switching the safeties of both guns off, aiming ahead.

Both girls quickly noticed two centipedes approaching them.

Iris saw two big monster like centipedes heading towards her and Lin. Here came Iris's first test to see if she had any hope of getting stronger or not. Iris had learned her lesson from before and knew charging in didn't always work well. Now would be a good time to pull the 9mm out. Iris placed her short sword in her left hand and pulled her 9mm out with her right. Iris aimed best she could at one of the centipedes and fired three times. Iris hoped her shots killed, or at least stunned the creature.

Lin dropped to one knee and pointed her 2 pistols at the oncoming monsters.
She noticed that Iris already had one in her sights and aimed for the other one, taking slow, deep breaths, she made sure the bug was in range and, if she aimed right, was about to get 2 bullets pumped into it's body as both pistol rang out, smacking into her palm...
(Aimed shots, 2 shots fired, 1 from each pistol)

First shot was decent

Second shot was very good

Iris utterly eliminated the centipede as the second shot put it out of it's misery.

Her first shot missed

Her second shot hit the target extremely well

The centipede recoiled in pain

Iris felt satisfaction as she killed the first centipede and watched it die on the ground. She noticed that Lin had managed to badly hurt the other one and was now shooting at it again. Iris was tempted to run over and stab it but instead aimed her 9mm and did one focused shot at it, hoping it would died. Iris wondered what else she and Lin would see out here, hopfully no egg monsters.

"Lets continue," Lin said to her teammate, checking her remaining ammo count, she got back up to her feet and edged forward...

Iris and Lin continued to go down the street.

Suddenly, tentacles sprouted from the sewer grates and man hole that was nearby.

Seeing tenticals coming out of a sewer gate Iris knew she had to get a bit of distence. Iris stepped backwards and aimed her 9mm. Taking a moment to aim Iris shot three bullets at the massive tenticals. Iris gripped her sword tightly, knowing she would have to slash the tenticals if they got ahold of her or Lin. Iris did not want to rush the tenticals at all, after what happened the day before she didn't want them knocking her over and grabbing her.
