Yeah. It's just a visual novel clicking past the story unless you understand japanese (derp). Chances are they might have someone translate the story to english.

is Maika out of business?

Don't think they're out of business yet. This is just one of their last work regarding these types of release for now. Not sure if they want to stop yet.

From what I read, apparently they wanted to focus on developing some mobile game. Non distributable though unfortunately.

Hmm.. is that a confirmed thing or just something that has a higher possibility than normal of happening? The art looks pretty nice, so being able to understand the story would be even better.

Not confirmed. A possibility, yes. But I wouldn't put too much expectations for a translation on it.

Anyway, Maika got a huge potential to make non-adv vn for their usual setting.

So I did the main story line did both options for each one, did gates 1-6 but gates 7 and 8 are still locked.

I'm not too sure about that. I haven't exactly explored all the routes yet xD... didn't really play around with it that much.

I'll get back to you soon if i encounter that same problem. Kinda busy playing through the different HRPGs at the moment like that recent NTR rpg about playing as the wife & lipucd's games xD
