Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Holi's done as well, though I'm not sure if i got my current hit points quite right. Not that it matters since the battle is over with now. Do you need me to write down the close-quarter fighting feat for you or do you already have the Races of Faerun.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

I've got it, it's even got one of my favorite races in it, in fact.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Oh a gnome fan, huh.:D

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Lol, nope. You'll find out sooner or later.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

I'm thinking either Fey'ri or Tannarukk then, just because of our location in the realms. Though the samurai and ninjas don't exactly fit there but oh well.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

The people at the tavern were actually unrelated to the main story until Gershalt showed up and took over. I knew there would be random bandits at some point, but when the percentile die rolled up a drow for the bandit leaders race I knew I had to make it a bit more interesting than her just popping in randomly.
Protip: Gershalt works nights.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Malacet's leveled now, tee hee. Not really that much to add though, so meh.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Leveled up properly I think. I have draconic scales now! :D

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Notice: I'm going to be gone for a week, with little hope of internet access. I'm leaving early Sunday.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

And since Loli's gone too, that means we won't be doing anything for a while. Oh well orgy time for the characters then I guess.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

So... my identify spells didn't do anything, or were they just overlooked?

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

I added them into my last post at the bottom.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Sorry about taking so long I forgot I was the only one in the room with Aramil.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

I had to make the last post like that because UMLF was being difficult, for reasons I don't yet know.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

She's a warlock though and she may be able to fool it with use magic device.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Any character whose alignment does not correspond to that of the item (except as noted by the asterisks on the table) gains one negative level if he or she so much as picks up the item. Although this negative level never results in actual level loss, it remains as long as the item is in hand and cannot be overcome in any way (including restoration spells).

From SRD :x

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Use Magic Device:
Emulate an Alignment
Some magic items have positive or negative effects based on the user’s alignment. Use Magic Device lets you use these items as if you were of an alignment of your choice. You can emulate only one alignment at a time.

Also from SRD

This. Though if she fails the check, she still gets a negative level.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

I also count as Evil for the purposes of using magic items, without gaining any of the negatives associated with not actually being evil, thanks to my race ;)

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Double post, but it's been a week, so :p

Anyways, I need a rules clarification: Does darkness also block us from seeing things like the magical aura's someone can see using Detect Magic? I went through the pain of the SRD on my cell, and the description of Detect Magic doesn't say anything about it actually being based on light, so it's kinda iffy. If Darkness doesn't prevent it, -mma focus for three rounds to figure out where Gershalt stands, then point the entire party that way with a Blast :3
