Re: Project X: New update v3.5 Released 14th May 2012

Same. Once I saw the picture I was just saying in my head, "Please no. Plz stahp no"

I, for one, would have found it hilarious.
Then again, I enjoy toasted peanut-butter & pickle sandwiches, sooo..... *shrug*

They continue to tease us with all this awesome stuff we're not playing.

Re: Project X: New update v3.5 Released 14th May 2012

Does Amy have a new model? Its pretty nice, also Zeta's ass always looks good.

Re: Project X: New update v3.5 Released 14th May 2012

"Soon", with regards to project X, means nothing at all :D

Re: Project X: New update v3.5 Released 14th May 2012

They're hoping ti have the update ready by the end of the month. Though that is fast approaching.
Oh well. You have to wait for good things, and I am eager to try out the remodeled amy. :)

Re: Project X: New update v3.5 Released 14th May 2012

So Blaze and Amy will be included after all?

Yes as far as I know what they plan to do is have all the characters in this release, and then in the next release have Zeta, Rouge, Tails and Zu then they'll have another update THEN an update that will will readd the characters that were missing..

....why does that sound overly complicated?

Because he explained it odd. Basically, all further updates are only going to include Tails, Zu, Zeta and Rouge as playable characters. Once they finish the game, they will go back and create sprites for the removed characters. This means updates SHOULD be more frequent, since there are less characters to draw up per stage.

From what Zeta has said it'll be two stage updates with just Zeta, Rouge, Tails and Zu. Then one update to add the characters missing from the previous updates. Then the cycle repeats. At least that's what she said on her forum the last I checked

Edit:
"What I will say is of utmost importance. As many already know, the game's development has lagged significantly in recent months and despite our efforts, the date of the next release is becoming increasingly remote. :/

The main reason for this delay is due to the large amount of missing animations, and the short time our Spriters have to finish their work.

We can't push our Team members, because they have decided to give us a little time to help with this project without receiving anything in return.

Because of this delay, Zeta and I have decided to create a development plan with which we hope to speed things up:

Step 1 - To lighten the animation work, we will temporarily remove several playable characters. During the upcoming releases will be only Zeta, Zu, Rouge and Tails.

Step 2 - When we finish Stage 5, we will complete the missing characters: Amy, Blaze and Cream.

Step 3 - After Stage 5, we will repeat the first step of the plan. Only used four playable character to fast forward the Stages 6, 7 and 8. Thus, we can complete the whole game. ^^

Step 4 - Now with the game complete, the final step will be end with the missing characters. From this point, we can add new characters, which will appear in future versions.

I hope this plan can help to accelerate the development process.

I know many will not be happy with the temporary absence of some characters, but it's all we can do to release updates more frequently.

I hope you understand and sorry for the delay.

Thank you."

Ok, that sounds a lot better. I approve of this plan...though I wish Amy was switched with tails.

Que shit-storm from all the folks who enjoy m/m content. Yeah, I think their decision on this one was fair, personally I'd prefer they replace Zu with Amy, but I guess it all depends on who's working with who.

Kinda obligated to keep Zu in it due to RockCandy being the only other main spriter.
