Yes, it was me. I specifically said "draw me a dinosaur." and to my surprise that was the result. I must say I am rather impressed by both the speed and quality with which the challenge was overcome by Yoshiiki. Not many people accept the "draw me a dinosaur" challenge, and even fewer pass with such spectacular results.

If it was not made clear already, I am quite surprised by the quality of your work.
 
Your last drawings are designed more in manga style. Is it a first attempt or maybe you'll create manga comics?:)
 
First attempt in many, many years? Yes :D Young Yoshiiki wanted to be a manga artist, but choose computer science, because money xD
I would love to create a whole hentai chapter, but I am low on time... Maybe after I am done with my game I will try that (or if it will flop I can try that xD).
Though, that dream from young years ago sure is showing when I am trying to make manga-like panel that could be taken out of something. :p

I started as computer science major as well, then advance calculus happen and made all previous math a theory.

Took some time away from college, tried new things, got my love of art again , changed my major to graphics design ,got my gpa up by getting straight A's for 2 semesters and now I'm graduating.

Moral of the story is.......I forgot...... No wait it is, you'll never know what you're good at or love unless you take the time to find yourself. Life is a journey and the one who walks it is you.
 
That's truly deep but... Reality is kind of different, I always loved drawing, had to give it up every time I tried to get serious with it. People that I knew who studied graphic designs or art? Not doing so well here, most of them struggle every month, trying to survive working at mcdonald. If not for my savings and earlier work, I wouldn't be able to keep drawing and working on a porn game right now as I wouldn't have as much free time... So yeah, something for something, always a trade-off xD
 
Heh, you know, for me it's the opposite, I did some programming in the equivalent of high school, realized that shit wasn't for me, now I'm making money with it and doing my 'real job' as part-time.
I will agree though that you need some money to get the whole game-creation business started at all, I couldn't do college AND game programming, then again, theres more and less srs college topics.

Anyway, follow your dreams, draw your stuffs, when else are you going to do it?

Varies on where you're working in, graphic designs are more for places like New York city, instead of dead places like Texas.

Boss: "Yoshii... Can you explain why ad for our client's driving school has written on it: They drive like faggots! Come, join, you will learn shit!"
Yoshii: "Have you seen them driving?"
Boss: "You're fired"
Yoshii puts sticky note on a boss with text: "I am too old to get erection".
Removed from workplace with help of security.
