Control the girl and evade pursuers. Unlike simpler action games, there's a puzzle mechanic whereby items are procured which are used to progress the story to its true end.
Looks like the same system as the previous game "Mansion" without the shooting and melee combat.

So, you leave the village and a purple shadow starts molesting(?) you, and then you just repeat the same screen over and over. I've tried running, walking, turning around, standing still... What are you supposed to be doing there?

I just talk to the old lady and walk through the next screen.

You'll encounter one more enemy that can give you a game over and then the demo ends after that.
If you walk instead of running and do not stop, the shadow thing wont catch you and you can continue on to the next area.

The demo is just one big psyche..
The first enemy you see, catches you in a struggle, so you think
"Oh boy! Struggle mechanics! Maybe this'll be a good RoR game!"
But then the second enemy is just a grab-n-game-over animation of
him groping you and then briefly humping you.
Maybe if I got some kind of confirmation that the purple ghost monster
wasn't the only struggle-type enemy in the game, and that the
second enemy was just a bad fluke, then I'd start pursuing this game.

the second enemy is all about patience. you just need to wait for a bit till he disappears, tho thats about it, cause past that screen your character seems to get stuck on an endless talking loop when you try to progress to the next area.... and i cant stop it.

It's a shame, because they always seem to create an interesting concept for a game, like Western Hotel, Witch Island, Mansion or that Haunted City puzzle one, but then rush the game to a completed state with only the barebones assets. Overall it makes for a rather short and kinda boring game that had a cool idea and good art. I wish they would take like 3x as long for a project and really flesh it out, and see if that makes their sales a lot better.
I'm pretty sure that's the end of the demo version. I'm still hoping someone will be able to find a copy somewhere, but Alibi's games are sometimes hard to track down.
