It seems we've run into a major problem.

I don't know what went down, but it seems like Mediafire changed their policies regarding stuff again.

Hell, even some of Starke's Mediafire links are disabled now, so most access to them has now been lost, leaving the torrent as the only way to get some of these games.

Either we got some snitches... Or they want my riches...

五十少女漂流記, the uninhabited island game released just recently, is frustrating as shit. I like the art, characters, and idea, but I have no idea where to go. The game doesn't like giving any clear directions on what to do after you establish the village by finding the water supply. The encounter rate is just *bad*. Took me to level 11 just to be able to run from fights. If you don't start off by agreeing with the ojou-sama, you don't get good equipment, which means you get facerolled. With the equipment, you take no damage...

Which sort of makes the fighting boring. This game would've probably worked better as a raising/survival/scavenging sim. You do get to have a lot of children, if the depacked rgss3a archive is any indication!

Wish I could unpack it as a project and actually had Ace to look it over.

Actually, having children period makes your money drop insanely fast. That's... not right. Oh wow. You lose a percentage of money every time you move between a major zone. That's harsh. It's about a 1000 for my first kid.

Time to get a batch file for that.
But a file size likely isn't enough information.

Any idea how to determine whether two files are the same, to some degree of confidence, given common information like partial string matches, file sizes, ...

Just a heads up for those who are actually trying to download RJ013523 from those non-Mediafire links; I got both parts from Freakshare and I ended up getting this thing here.


I couldn't open either with WinRAR (got an "archive in unknown format or damaged") so don't waste your time (unless you have to use a different extractor).

edit: Just realized the attached image is ridiculously small; the two extra ZIP archives are titled RJ097172 and RJ102202 respectively.

So is there actually a point to the succubus nest 'game', or is it pretty much just there to watch the heroines get raped over and over? You can't win battles once you run of specials to spam since you have no control over targetting, and you can't escape in the later areas to go recover because the success rate is often below 40% and failing throws you into a (probably unwinnable) fight. Basically your characters might as well go from 100% purity to dead, as once your characters start getting stunlocked by the rape animations there's no way to recover.

Am I missing something here, some button I can push to do something other than special attack? I beat it once by doing the bare minimum. No way in hell to clear the 2nd forest that I can see other than getting really lucky on random encounters, escape rate drops below 15% halfway through and the purple enemies might as well be immune to regular attacks. Skip it go to the boss, power spam specials, brief scene, game restarts as normal...hooray.

IMO it's an interesting concept, but it probably would have been better left as an interactive collection of animations instead of forcing a game into it.

Wiki for the game. Doesn't have much information yet, but still useful. Most importantly, it has maps!

Hopefully fixed audio folder with the correct names, cant say for sure since I havent really tried it aside from starting the introduction, wich works.

50 girls island uses the one thing I hate more than anything else in the world: stacking poison. Almost every area in the later game consists of monsters that do poison. This wouldn't be bad in any other game, but you can't buy antidotes in this game... at least, I haven't figured out a way how to. You have to trudge all the way back to town to cure poison, which eats up money when you pass through major areas.

Savescum like tomorrow will never come. I've only had one real ero scene so far. I know they're there... I'm just, doing something wrong?

So is there actually a point to the succubus nest 'game', or is it pretty much just there to watch the heroines get raped over and over? You can't win battles once you run of specials to spam since you have no control over targetting, and you can't escape in the later areas to go recover because the success rate is often below 40% and failing throws you into a (probably unwinnable) fight. Basically your characters might as well go from 100% purity to dead, as once your characters start getting stunlocked by the rape animations there's no way to recover.

Am I missing something here, some button I can push to do something other than special attack? I beat it once by doing the bare minimum. No way in hell to clear the 2nd forest that I can see other than getting really lucky on random encounters, escape rate drops below 15% halfway through and the purple enemies might as well be immune to regular attacks. Skip it go to the boss, power spam specials, brief scene, game restarts as normal...hooray.

IMO it's an interesting concept, but it probably would have been better left as an interactive collection of animations instead of forcing a game into it.

Yeah I beat it but it was pretty hard, the boss with the two slimes I couldn't beat. He had way too much hp. I also found that the girl with the blindfold does more damage to the slimes than the other two girls, but still I couldn't beat that slime boss. Also if you guys want I can try uploading RJ103523 to mediafire and see if it will works even though it was already attempted but I could try.

I'm honestly confused by all of this talk about Mediafire not working lately... I just downloaded something from them a few moments ago, and it worked just as it always did. The same goes for 4shared.

Now sure, I don't upload things, but I've had no trouble at all with downloading things from them. Is it some kind of regional policy or something? I didn't even know they had a premium system.

Oh, okay. Yeah, those files don't work. The person actually distributing the files has to have a premium account. Is there any way you can use obfuscation methods to make the site unaware that it's an archive?

I'm also curious as to if 4shared works the same way now.

Also: There was some guy who uploaded a "Queen of Fighters" mugen pack in an extended archive using Seven zip, on Mediafire. That file still appears to work. Maybe you could try changing the extension on your files?

To help clarify, Mediafire specifies that it specifically does not allow unlimited downloads of "Broken or encrypted" archives. Now my familiarity with computers isn't as good as all of you PC gamers, but maybe if you decrypt your archive it'd let it through.
