yea but links are dead.... ok question/help I tried to add 10 new characters to queen of fighters but only 5 went in I put the folders into the chara folder but they didnt work... what did i do wrong? also what i ment is they didnt show upp on character select screen.... what do i do to fix the problem?

If my internet access allowed it, I would upload the file, but at 3.7 gigs, it's not going to work. I have enough of a hard time trying to even download a 50mb file. I live in a pretty remote area of New Jersey.

If I can ever manage, I'll post up the entire thing somehow, someday.

Double check their names on the select sheet (assuming you got the correct select file) and see if it matches up with the folder. Another mishap is if the files name is different than the folder. You can also double check what version the are for or it may be that you have them under a second folder. Also, make sure you spell things correctly. Typo's are a no no.

go into the the mugen folder, go to data fold, go to mugen1 folder. That should be the select.def file.

It can be opened with notepad for editing. There are video tutorials for all of this as well. If you can't find the file, go back to the mugen folder and simply search select.def (you might might have more than one copy though.) The System.Def file on the other hand controls the games options.

Google and youtube are your best friends for mugen. use these resources. I had 7 year old friends who've put together great mugen games when it was still new and complex, so this should really be a cakewalk for you guys.

also all those images they post on the JP mugen board? Most of the time they aren't WIP but partial files for a character that you have to download from their uploader and add into the character yourself.

If I had a decent internet connection I would upload my version, but as it stands it wont be possible. I can upload certain characters though. As it stands my current version is at 3.79 gigs. I had it larger believe it or not, but I got rid of characters not to my taste or redundant ones, but still have about 95% of the characters created for it not counting edits/versions.

Man I really wish there were English sites with clear compatibilities for rapists on all the characters posted. The Mugen community is so unorganized. Even if you download from that one Spanish site, sometimes the characters aren't fully capable with the rapist that they say they are, that bugs me to no end.

Some guy named Betmark has been working on cleaning up sprite compatibility and making their own custom version that looks pretty good, I particularly like the char compatibility chart he has.

I can't link the page as it may have content prohibited on this forum. *Cough* but the name of the custom build is Queen of Fighters 1.5, made by Betmark *Cough*

Note that his char database looks incomplete but its a very sizeable chunk (166 chars), I'll be getting his char pack soon to check it out.

I remember the original Queen of Fighters I tried downloading was laced with viruses so I'm a bit cautious now. I also have a problem when the sprites are really different quality. I don't like that old arcade fighter pixely look. I think I may just try to organize my game better and separate rapers/compatible girls into other versions of the game.



Alright sweet, I made a version of the game with only characters fully compatible with Kurolite (There's 25 + Ryona Morgana that seems to work with all of them as well) Now I can hunt down the rest of the compatibles for him I don't have yet. I can actually play Arcade Mode now without getting fail match ups.

I put all the ones that work with most his moves in a different folder. Some are like edits to work pretty well with Kuro but you can tell that they weren't made with him in mind, I don't like the lesser quality clogging up my game (I have like a hundred of these). These ones don't have a special Fuck Me Sign animation and the blowjob looks like they're jerking their head around, They usually have really jerky sex animations, though some are lined up better than others. They are mostly that old fighter looking sprite look that I don't care much for.

Yeah that Spanish site lies about some of the chars that are fully compatible. The only thing I didn't test is if they all have Finishers with him, but I know most do and if they have KuroLite's Fuck Me Sign move that was pretty rare, there's a good chance they have his finishers too (White Len's is just the best thing ever)

His char pack only includes female characters edited/checked by him for compatibility with the main rapers, that's why any rapers he has on that list are also rape-able females.

His compatibility list does show the main rapers, so it's sorta expected that you'll already have kuromaru and the like. They can be gotten very easily from the main mugen forum.

From what I understand 99% of the chars in his pack are kept quite up to date, and some may have been exclusively edited to increase compatibility, hence why I like his pack =) There's also some rare characters I couldn't find there.

I pretty much plan to just take his char pack and added to my version, and use his compatibility chart for reference.

I'm gonna have a lot of char / stage to clean up, and double checking select.def is gonna be a pain.
