I guess a lot of it has to do with my weird RP quirks of wanting to interact at least a little in-character before it makes sense for Caitlyn to wander out into life or death situations with someone.
(Also there's some minor frustration from the fact that it seems like I fell into some design traps with Caitlyn. If she had been built as a heavily-armed, combat badass, dangerous loner type she'd be happier going out by herself. As it is I put a bunch of skill points into "Research" and other non-combat skills that don't seem to do anything at the moment.)
It's just been an endlessly frustrating day for me today (and yesterday, to a certain extent). Every time that I've tried to get anything going in game it has seemed like something has come up to. . . geez not like stop it from happening because if that was the case I'd be like "Okay, no problem" and move on to something else. . . but instead it would be like people would want to do something but random junk would get in the way and nothing would end up happening except for me being in a holding pattern and so I'd feel like 'any second now, player X will come back and then finally things will get good'.Also, moving my conversation with Janna here so as to not clutter the Inn with OOC posts:
