They seem almost purely sexual and almost sentient compared to the other monsters, so I don't know how they'd disembowel and kill men in such grizzly ways

That, I think, is just the Inn slimes. Slimes encountered elsewhere have been less humanoid and more amoeba-like. My thought is that a slime encountering a male human would engulf and absorb him - much like real amoebas do to their prey. Maybe the Inn slimes would be kind enough merely to rape a guy... but somehow I suspect RJ's not going to volunteer any of the male NPCs to demonstrate.

And I haven't been up on that story much, is there something special about joseph that I missed, is there a reason he's so super essencey

We haven't gotten the reason for him being "super-essencey" yet. I'm fairly sure he's a male Inspired, and probably received his essence capabilities in the same way player Inspired did - that is, it developed over the years prior to now, as the people in question sought out the supernatural in their own ways.

Given the original definition of essence in AFMBE, I'd say it's because he's a bloody strong-willed idiot with alot of blind faith in his ideals...

Although by that definition, Luna should have been one as well seeing as she's a "zealot", but... *shrugs*

In what situation would Luna cry?

What type of tears do you want? Rage tears, tears of the heart (she's already cried those when some of my emotions relapsed while she was trying to drown herself in the shower), the actual "audible" tears where you can obviously tell she's crying, or tears of joy?... Take your pick and I'll respond in kind.

I'm pretty sure a way to make Luna cry tears of Rage or sadness or some negative emotion is her sister getting harmed, correct?

...that was Azure. I think Azure started the process of "taming" the slime, by being friendly towards it (at the tail-end of the Medic mission, as well as later), and their habit of "commingling" (I think I spelt that correctly...) with their children passed on the tameness to all the children. Unfortunately Azure didn't discover any means of having sex with a slime without being impregnated by it, and nobody else has spent very long in their company, so basically the Basement and its slime population exists to let players write smexings with monsters and/or threaten the safety of the Inn.

"Wild" slimes wouldn't share the same memories of playing around with Azure, and curious women wandering into the basement and being seduced, and are therefore quite a bit more aggressive. Get impregnated by a slime in the wild, and it won't let you go after you've given birth - it'll stick another baby in the oven.

Eh, Iris being harmed = Luna Rage.

Iris being killed? Tears of Rage as Luna did an all out suicide attack on whatever killed her, or if she died by accident, on every monster out there, without a care in the world for herself.

Tears of sadness?... The moment in which she remembers enough of her past, if too many things remind her of her past...

Tears of self-pity?... Nope. Luna doesn't cry those... period. For the most part anyway.

Erm................ My statement was mainly that... Luna doesn't repent for her actions...and if she does, never with tears. She's horribly stubborn about what she believes is right, she never looks back on what she's done unless forced to, and even then, you're lucky if you get a "sorry" from the current her. Transformed? She'll apologize more, but "self-pity"? I highly doubt we'll EVER see that from Luna.

For one, Luna isn't really a selfish person. In that, she doesn't care much emotionally for what happens to herself, even in her pre-transformed state, she STILL doesn't care much for what happens to herself. Thus "self-pity" is just simply something she wouldn't do, if not outright looks down upon...

Actually, I was thinking more of the bit before Kali and Azure got captured - when they faced a giant slime woman, and Azure tried to be friendly to it and ended up getting hit with aphrodisiac and sexed.

I think that's the point at which the "tame" slimes started developing. The slimes making up the giant slime woman went, "Hey, if we imitate a woman and take it slow, they'll be more cooperative!", then Azure's first slime-child liked its mom enough to follow Azure home to the Inn, and really enjoyed playing with Azure as she tried to teach it more about sex. And they've been getting that behaviour reinforced each time someone wandered downstairs.

A'course, there's now seven slimes in the basement, and only one or two women have gone down there to feed 'em each day, so they're on kinda short rations at this point. So their hunger might override this "kindly" imitative behaviour fairly soon. Blast their lack of non-reproductive copulation.

Speaking of which... >_>, after a certain simulation of a conversation with the Director, I believe I've found out what happens to people who piss her off... and why the slimes are kept there despite being a possible hazard. (Also on that note, the word "midget" is taboo in her presence.)

Slimes actually attach themselves to whoever they have sex with after intercourse, and store huge amounts of essence, which they don't mind, "Sharing" in a sexual way, with their family in the basement.

I've played out Aya having sex with Bianca more times then I can remember. It just got a bit old, that's why I wanted to skip it this time and move on to whatever happens next. If RJ does have a problem with me wanting to skip this part then I wish he had said something instead of completely ignoring me for two days. If he had said something I would have played it out without complaining. I'd rather play through something that's gotten a little old then wait two days and having nothing happen.

The thing is, I was and still am in the mood to RP, I just didn't want to play out Aya doing the same thing with Bianca.

Edit- Aya's sex with Bianca was like random encounters in role playing games. It happened so often that I just wanted to skip it for a bit, however that's not to say I didn't want the game and story to progress.
