A) He edited it after I posted, and B) "misspelt" is an older version of the past tense of "misspell"; apparently "misspelled" has overtaken it in common usage.

Apparently I came across too strongly. I blame late nights and too little socializing. Let me try to explain why I exploded:

The execution, given it was a spur-of-the-moment joke, would IM-not-so-HO go better if the art styles of the two characters looked more alike. Travis is very heavily delineated; Sonic is not. A minute with

, which while not as obviously running scared, is lineart rather than a 3D render. It also makes Sonic look more like a reasonable opponent for Travis, rather than a panicking little coward. See?

The concept... now here's where I see red. I still remember the Nintendo-versus-Sega wars; "Wii character beating up on Sega flagship character" hits me wrong. The atmosphere inherent in No More Heroes ("gee, let's brutally murder ten specific people and anyone else silly enough to get close to me!") just doesn't jive with that in Sonic Heroes ("I grab a ring, and then I'm invincible so long as I can hold on to it!"). Can you even imagine the taglines that would result? "Match your beam katana against Knuckles' fists, then hack the rest of his arms away! Bring Miles down to earth by cutting his tails off, inch by bloody inch, before you take his head for yourself! Finally, engage the Blue Bomber himself, turn his speed against him, and impale him on your weapon as he charges you!"

I still say fail. From my standpoint, it's not humorous in any way.

Yeah, Sonic is getting out of hand. I'd pay nothing to get a game where I can kill them, though. I mean, why spend money when I'm sure there's a free flash game out there? It may suck, but it should quench my hedgehog-and-friends-kill-spree thirst

Within the limits of the board regs, you can post whatever you want, and I can post whatever I want, and everyone else can post whatever they want. So you don't have to worry about what I think when you post something, unless you're addressing it directly to me. Just don't expect me, or anyone else for that matter, to always close my eyes and just click "Back". Sometimes I let my emotions get the better of me - and then you get my first post in this thread. Sorry.

I've explained why I find "No More Sonic Heroes" unfunny; only Kusanagi has explained why he finds it amusing - everyone felt it more necessary to take potshots at me. Discussion?

Also, while Sonic Heroes may have been fail, Sonic Adventure, and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, were amazing.

I think ill just give my opinion on all three games without going into details.

Sonic Adventure wasn't all that great in my opinion. I'm not saying it was bad though. If I were to grade it with a letter I'd give it a C+.

Sonic Adventure 2 was pretty good. Honestly it may be the best 3-D Sonic game ever made. Ill play it over Sonic next gen and Sonic unleashed any day.
I'd give it a B letter grade.

As for Sonic Heroes... Well It had a lot of issues and problems. Sonic Adventure 1+2 were a lot better. However the game wasn't all that bad. It's passable. I'd give it a D+.

I'd have to agree, but give SA2B a A-. It remains one of my favourite games, and the only minus is the annoying "search for the master emerald shards" missions.
