As Robert starts moving towards the door, he can her the odd sounds drawing closer. Small shadows move on the boxes and in the back areas. All chase still hears is Robert telling her to leave.
Multiple zombies now start shuffling out of the shadows, the only one truly close, however, is on the other side of Chase so Robert doesn't have a clear shot.
Firing off a shot before quickly moving, Roberts aim seems to be off a bit. He can see a bit of blood fly from one of the zombie's shoulders, but the bullet seems to have only skimmed the shoulder rather than hit it dead on. The pair can hear the pickup starting back up outside.
Running for the exit, the two hear a breaking sound as the zombies smash open the hinges, not remembering enough of their old knowledge to know how to open a door properly. Alarmingly, though, the pair also hear a gunshot from outside. It seems the zombies inside might not be the only ones nearby.
Reaching the front doors, the two can see a small swarm of zombies approaching from the direction of the Wallmart. Not many, but it will making going back more difficult. Also, with another gunshot, they see one of the zombies slump to the ground. From here they can tell that Verath has moved to the shooting cage in back, his rifle sticking out of one of the gun pots in the side of the wooden construct.
In the time it takes for the pair to reach the vehicle, another two shots have rung out and another zombie bites the dust. Robert, squirm back in here. We might need you shooting, and rolling down a window to do so is going to be practically suicidal. Mechy, I doubt we'll find a way around. If they're coming from the direction of the Wallmart, the place is probably already surrounded. We're going to have to drive straight through the mass. That's why the trucks were refited anyway.
