I'm learning to draw properly. So... I'm making a thread about it and the places I learn from.

Currently using Paint .Net Which is a pretty sucky program, but after seeing what ppl, do wiht regular paint here, I figure I'll give it a chance.

Ok, just some quick advice to anyone trying to learn how to draw... For a long time I thought that the first line was a deciding factor, but I have learned that that is not the case. Draw weak but fat lines that allow for a lot of interpretation... So that you can shave of what you don't need and what doesn't fit.

Yep. Always start with a rough sketch, then define it and make it cleaner

Anyways, I'm gonna start drawing by hand a little bit, so I'm only gonna post pics I scan (read most likely none.) However, I will post links to the tutorials I'm using here.

Pretty good one on drawing female bodies... And to catch the attention of the people here... s/he starts with talking about breasts...

Oh this tutorial, it's ages old. Though that doesn't mean it isn't good. On the contrary, it's what I used when I first started out. Man, that takes me back, back when I was young and naive.

Indeed, though when I found it it was in page form not some kind of player. I can't remember the site either otherwise I'd post it here.

Well, I'm deserately trying to get accustomed to drawing with a tablet. This image is unfortunately very large, as I didn't realize I had been drawing in A3 size... Zoom function FTW. Anyways, artists and couch.critics alike, how can I improve my drawing style, and should I focus on using a lot of time on a pic or just do 'em quick like this? For learning purposes.

Yeah, cropping tool was laughing at me and it was Waaaayyyy past my bedtime^^

Anyways, I've started drawing myself a desktop background for christmas. This one should be smaller.
