Re: Law & Order

i've always been more of an NCIS person...

every character is a steel clad stereotype but for some reason i can't figure out its fun to watch.
Good looking steel clad stereotypes?
well everyone likes abby, but i don't think any of them are excessively pretty.
That's because Abby's fun. And DiNozzo may not be pretty but he's nommy, that's for certain. Madre likes Gibbs. It's a fun show, at any rate. It's enterataining, Nu. That's probably why you like it. It doesn't have to be high drama or intellectually stimulating to be enjoyable, but at least it's not, y'know, "The Hills" or the new "Melrose Place." *gags*

And, on Topic, haven't quite watched Law & Order in a while, though I did quite a bit for a while. TNT network runs a lot of them. Probably like the original best, then SVU, then CI and I don't think I *ever* watched Trial by Jury. Something about the male lead in Criminal Intent bugs me. I realize it's his character, but I don't like the way he talks sometimes. I love Munch in SVU (Loved him in Homicide, too, and love how his character is *always* named Munch.) Of course, SNL ruined Jack in the original for me and mom, since I can't look at him anymore without looking over at mom and going "Robots." (And I'll be damned if I can find that skit. Stupid youtube.)

Re: Law & Order

Copper, you just like... put my soul down in text form. Right down to the lead in CI bugging me. The only thing I don't completely 100% identify with in that post is McCoy being ruined for you (don't watch SNL so I missed that). Other than that... yeah. Rep for you for being so on-the-same-brainwave as me.

Or.... you would get rep but apparently I've given you too much recently. <3

Re: Law & Order

I'll watch Bones if my mother is watching it. Same with NCIS. The only one I *have* to watch is CSI.

As for McCoy, it was an SNL skit about Robot Insurance (because you never know when robots are going to attack.) but I can't find the damn skit, so you'll have to take my word for it.

And go spread some rep around then come back, heheeh.

Re: Law & Order

That's exactly the reason to watch it. He's such a unique character, and the way he treats other people is absolutely hilarious. The fact that the whole show is done using his "American" accent is amazing (I only learned he was English three or four seasons in).
I thought he was Scottish?
