Re: Wordless Expression (Sarac)

As he'd already made it thus far from the beach, Sarac found his trip back to the sandy entrance to the island rather uneventful, and eventually found himself on the quiet beach once again... Nothing out of the ordinary, or different, from what he could see.

Re: Wordless Expression (Sarac)

It seems safer out here than in the forest. Sarac decided. However he kept his guard up as he walked along the beach (not too close to either the forest or the sea) as he looked for any survivors.

Re: Wordless Expression (Sarac)

Sarac spent a long time, walking along the beach. He did find several signs of other survivors from the ship arriving as he walked, but all held trails that led into the forest... Where he got attacked and raped by a bee woman. Other than cold trails, Sarac's search only served to make him aware of how hungry, and thirsty he was, as his body began to demand nourishment...

Sarac had been staveing off his hunger and thirst for as long as he could, but even his training had its limits. After thinking on the matter for a bit he cautiously followed one of the other survivor's trails into the forest. May I have better luck this time he prayed.

Re: Wordless Expression (Sarac)

Walking through the forest, Sarac eventually saw a pair of centaurs walking, and talking amongst each other. They seemed engaged in an amusing conversation, and while Sarac found himself in plain sight, they hadn't noticed him yet due to how occupied they seemed to be, talking about some kind of Goblin doing something amusing...

Re: Wordless Expression (Sarac)

(I'm going to assume that people would have at least heard of centaurs and elves. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

Sarac wasn't too surprised to see centaurs, after all if there were bee and octopus women why not? He was however surprised that they hadn't seen him yet and pondered briefly whether he should try hiding. Stupid, I'm in plain sight if I moved they would definitly see me. he inwardly berated himself. I think I remember hearing that centaurs were a friendly, if proud, race. Thinking of no alternative Sarac greeted them politely and hoped for the best. Good afternoon, would you be willing to aid a castaway?

(I'm also guessing on time of day.)

Re: Wordless Expression (Sarac)

(Afternoon's actually right on the spot. And the only things you can't assume people on the mainland all have heard of are the less common monsters in Fairy tales. Like the Cyclops, Bee women, Lizardfolk, etc.)

The two centaurs, interrupted, looked surprised at Sarac. "Oh, look... It must be one of those humans from the shipwreck." she said.

"Well, orders are orders. Let's take him back to the village." she said plainly.

The other nodded, then looked at Sarac, "Actually, human, we're here to find, and escort the humans who were attacked on that boat last night to our village, so if you're looking for help, you'd better come with us." she told him.

I thank you for your help. Sarac replied gratefully. By the way, what is the village like? he asked as he followed them.

(Sorry couldn't think of much today.)

Re: Wordless Expression (Sarac)

The two centaurs remained silent in thought for a moment, "It's... Home... I don't know how else to explain it. It's usually quiet, and peaceful, but there's usually some other monster that comes into the village to start trouble, like those troublesome goblins not far from our village..." one of the two horse women said. And after a time, the three reached the village mentioned before, and Sarac was lead to what appeared to be the Inn.

"This is the Inn, human, there's food and water inside, as well as a bed. Is there anything else you needed?"

Sarac thanked them again for their help, and was about to reply no to their question when he remembered the creature that had attacked him earlier. Do either of you know anything about bee women? he questioned.

Both of the centaurs nodded, "There are the Honeybees, and the Hornets." one replied, "The Honeybees are generally sweet, and kind natured, albeit lustful. And the Hornets are far more aggressive, often enjoying humiliating the human they've caught, with any sexual tortures they can think of at the time. The best way to tell the difference between the two, is that Honeybees are generally petite, and cute, while the Hornets have a more mature appearance, larger breasts, and about as tall as a full grown human." she explained.

Hmm... I guess that was a Hornet then? Sarac wondered. Thank you again for your help and for the information. If for some reason you would like my help just ask.

(Unless the centaurs have anything to say he's going to head into the inn.)

The centaurs nodded, "I doubt we'll be needing your help, but we'll keep that in mind." one said, before they both turned about, heading for the town square.

Once inside the Inn, Sarac was greeted by another centaur, except she was much more motherly in appearance. Her human half, in any case. "Welcome, another ship-wrecked, I imagine?" she asked him.

You Imagine right. Sarac replied good-naturedly. Taking a look around the inn he asked, What would be the price for food, drink, and lodgings here?

The centaur shook her head, "No charge, for now at least," she told him, "We'll worry about you earnin' your keep when the time comes. Until then, say what you want, human, we gotta nurture you folks back to good health if we want ya to help out around here!"

Her words sounded friendly, but Sarac felt uncomfortable. He was about to start asking questions when his body demanded food rather loudly. Er, would you please give me some food and water? Sarac asked trying to hide his embarrassment. Food first; questions later. Just remember to keep alert. he thought.

The centaur nodded, "Sure, take a seat, I'll be right with you in a moment." she told him, disappearing into the back of the building.

Once she was gone, Sarac noticed someone trying to get his attention, a blond, busty woman not too far from him, sitting with what appeared to be a friend of hers, with red hair, and an even larger bust, was waving at him, smiling as she seemed to be directing him to come sit with her and her friend, rather than alone.

Re: Wordless Expression (Sarac)

Sarac pretended he hadn't noticed them and waited for the innkeeper to return. I've been bested and used twice in the last 24 hours; I'm not going to make it three. He thought sourly to himself. Soon he wondered if maybe he was just being paranoid. We're in town they wouldn't try anything right? Just to be safe I'll ask the innkeeper what she knows about them before taking any action.

Re: Wordless Expression (Sarac)

The two women seemed insulted when Sarac ignored them, and didn't pay him anymore heed after that, not even bothering to look at him anymore.

A moment later, Sarac was beginning to attract eyes of the patrons, who were curious as to why the man was standing in place like a fool, waiting for his meal. A subconscious thought formed in the back of his mind told him he'd better find a place to sit, lest he attract more unwanted attention.

Re: Wordless Expression (Sarac)

Prefering to be alone, Sarac took a seat as far from the other patrons as possible.
