It's been way too long!
I have finally completed Cerulean City.
Unfortunately, any old saved games you have won't work with this version. (I changed a lot of variables and moved levels around)

So what's new?

New fully-rendered pictures added! And you can zoom-in on them in the photo gallery.

Some pokemorphs have been drawn such as Spearow and a surprise pokemorph near the end of this demo.

Cerulean City has been added.

Side-quests added

5 new window borders

New credit sequence

Added a fully-functional map system to the pokedax

Shops can run out of items if you buy from one place too much.

I'm stuck in Tears of Inferno, after I rescue the princess and she poisened, where do I need to go next, I tried following magus into the cliffs but I got lost.

Soooo... after a long waiting for the update on the pokemon game, I've finally managed to get to use my .txt file xD

I'm stuck in the part where you travel to the cerullean city through the mountains... at least I think so. I have entered on a secret cave on the desert that led me to a maze with several ladders, as soon as I climbed on of those I couldn't go back nor use any other ladders. Is this a bug?

i'm stuck in cerulean, i beat every trainer and all and talk to everyone but when i try and challenge cerulean gym it says they aren't preforming till later, can you help me?

Tears of Inferno was never finished beyond that point.
That was around the time I got fed up with using RPG Maker and switched to making everything in Flash.

Go around her and find the key to open the door.
You'll catch the Sensational Sisters while they're "off-duty."

The saved games from the previous version of the game aren't really compatible with this version.
A lot of maps were moved and many game variables were changed.

If this glitch is occurring after playing this version from the beginning, can you tell me which ladder it is?

I also got the bug where the ladders inside the cave glitched. I used the ladder you see to your right just after entering. After i got to the second floor i couldn't use any ladders to get back down :/ Luckily i had made a save just before i entered.

Hey guys, apparently you have to save a lot with the Clipboard to avoid bugs like the one with stairs. Yesterday after posting my problem, I copied an old code from the .txt file I had around and it worked perfectly then, but apparently (as Humbird0 sais) there'll several bugs on the game later, like you won't see Misty having some fun with the tentacool later... (at least I think that's where the bug is coming from)

So I suggest you guys start the game from scratch to enjoy it to the max.

Hey, really nice work on the Pokemon game. As for those ladders, had the same problem, but running up when standing on the ladders worked just fine for me. In the sisters Gym, there are actually paths to each side on the bottom of the first room (where its locked). It bothered me a little that you could not catch Porygon, maybe another time? Oh right, think there is a bug with the Team Rocket girls in their desert hideout - losing to a man was fine, but losing to a woman crashed my game. Tried it a few times and the results were always the same. Get "kicked out" and black screen.

Its not finished yet, but its looking really nice as is. I'm interested to know how far you are going to take this project though, finishing it like the Pokemon series is a daunting task indeed. Mind, it looks like you are having fun with it, and thats what counts.

Came out of lurking just to thank you Humbirdo ;P A great game in the works.

Is it possible to obtain that porygon.Pokeballs give the error that they dont work on Ash and sedusing turn her i some weird missingno thing.

While testing, I used both save methods a lot.
But I haven't been getting those bugs with the ladder or tentacool scene.
Those have always worked fine for me.

The missingno picture appears because I haven't drawn her "horny" pose yet.
Porygon is over-powered compared to other pokemon, so I made it so she can't be caught.

Yes, I forgot to update their code. They were "kicking" you to the old map location, which doesn't exist because I moved the level files around.
I just fixed that, but I think I'll look into doing a few more bugfixes before I update the online version.

That song is amazing! I wish I could use it but unfortunately, it's for sale. Maybe they would let me use a short clip as a kind of advertising for them.
