As Luna pulls away, and delivers her quiet promise, Lara smiles warmly, tears glistening in the corners of her eyes, and she replies; "Luna..... I look forward to it." After that, she rises, and helps Luna with pulling the bonds off of the other slaves. Many of them get up and rush right up the stairs as soon as they are free, barely tossing the two women a quick thanks, though one of the men responds to Lunas words with; "Damn right it is!" And, once he is free, begins helping the other slaves out of their bonds.

By the time all the captives are freed, three other slaves have turned to help. It was then that the Su-Ku-Ta began to stir, her eyes opening as she began to stretch much like a cat. She had none of her terrifying aura from before, and seemed perfectly docile. She glances around for a moment before her eyes settle on Luna, and she perks up, smiling warmly as she purrs; "Master!" Seconds later, however, a coughing can be heard from amongst a pile of corpses. One of the freed slaves moves over and shifts some of the dead bodies, revealing the woman that had been apparently leading the group of slavers, still alive but coughing up blood.

It wasn't surprising that so many people had fled like they did. They likely had things they wanted to take care of, or they simply wanted to get the hell away from this town. The girl just hoped that all her fellow former slaves made it to wherever safely and did not run into any wolves during their trip. It was nice to see that there were still slaves sticking around. Perhaps they didn't want to leave just yet. Thinking of her captives Luna suddenly remembers the fate of the other slaves, the ones force through the portals. ' I must speak to Matthias about this, surly he can save them! ' she thought.

Luna smiles warmly to the Su-Ku-Ta woman, happy to see her in this state. " Come here kitty! " Luna would call to her. Luna's attention would shortly be ripped away from the cat woman once she saw the injured slaver crawling out from the dead bodies. "Hmm..." she went, walking over to the slaver. She really was unsure how to act now. To show the slaver mercy or to just punch her in the face? For all she knew this could of been the woman from before, the one who had attended to her earlier after she had been savagely beaten by the now, hopefully dead, fat slaver who had brought them here. " Need a hand? " Luna asked her, holding a hand out. Her eyes seemed a bit cold, though not too bitter or hostile.

Only moments after Luna thinks that she'd have to speak to Matthias about the other slaves, a flood of people begins flowing out of the portal. Luna recognizes some of them as some of the slaves she'd seen earlier, though she also doesn't recognize any of them. Regardless, they hardly pay anyone any attention as they rush up the stairs, and out of sight.

She then puts on a much more serious tone, her eyes seeming sincere.

" In all seriousness, I give you my deepest thanks for keeping him from killing me. If you hadn't I'd well, wouldn't off been here to help Lara and give the kitty here a new purpose in life. " She pats her new pets on the head a couple of times. " I know little of you, however I owe you my life. Ill be more than happy to help attend to your wounds and ask Matthias not to kill you if he returns." Luna suddenly places her free hand onto the woman's shoulder, and gives her a friendly smile. " I am Luna. What is your name? While your at it, would you mind telling me what you know of the kitty? "

"He's dead. I watched the daemon cut him in half. And then cut him in half again before his upper body hit the ground. And then stomp his head in. What's left is in that corner." The woman says, and points toward the far corner, where several mutilated corpses lie. She can't honestly tell if any of them belong to the burly man that had abused her, but the woman seemed too traumatized to be lying.

She waits several moments after Luna lays her hand on her shoulder and finishes speaking before replying; "You're welcome, I suppose. I am called Naya. I was named for a goddess of fertility, of all things, if you must know. And I would appreciate that, Luna." She looks at the cat for a moment, who rubbed affectionately against Lunas leg, and said; "I can tell you only one thing: You'll wish that you killed her after a very short while."

" Well Naya, I'm happy you of all people survived this slaver massacre. Go ahead and get your bearings while I go get some stuff to help with your wounds. Oh," she casts a glance down to the cat woman, smiling down on her before petting her a bit more. " Don't worry about her at all. "Indeed. Though I don't doubt that his soul is in a far worse place than hell, if the demons are to be believed." Naya says, and Luna would have seen Lara wince slightly had she not been concentrating on the slaver woman. Naya continues immediately with; "I am no less deserving of your hatred than any of the rest, Luna, so I don't know why you are glad that I live. I did not help you because it was right, or because I cared for your life. You were a product to me, one that I knew would return less if it were damaged. I know that isn't what you'd like to hear, but I feel that I owe you the truth in this, for your kindness."

While Luna ponders that, the Su-Ku-Ta slides up and nuzzles against Nayas legs, almost knocking the woman back into the pile of corpses, and says; "Kitty loves Master! Kitty could never hurt Master!" The other slaves watch this with expressions of revulsion, as the woman speaks in the same tone and voice that she had used when buying the slaves.

What the woman had said wasn't something she wanted to hear, she wanted to think that this was the first slaver she had met who actually had a soul. One that had saved her because she couldn't stand the sight of that oaf beating an innocent girl to death. However, this was the truth. She really was no worse than Hagen, the man who had tried to rap her then beat her to death. She had only kept her alive because of her green. Luna really had little to no reason not to punch Naya in the face when she had found in her the pile of bodies. Or to punch her right now.

Nayas expression is unreadable as she hears Luna out, and she takes a moment to process what she'd said before replying, with a slight shrug; "All my associates are dead, or being killed, at this moment. The section of the organization I was a part of will fall apart, since that daemon just went after our senior leadership and key customers. Even if I wanted to return to slaving, I probably couldn't. So, yes, I am done being a slaver. After today, I don't think I'd want to risk...... This. Again." Her voice is emotionless and dull, the added rasp from her injury making it seem almost as alien and discomforting as the voice that the one that had freed her spoke in.

(Speaking of him, I wish you hadn't killed him off so soon. If he had lived then maybe Luna could of eventually had some big epic fight with him over something. Then again I couldn't see a fat ass like him successfully hiding from Matthias like Naya had.)

Luna smiles, "Well then, this is good to hear. You are welcomed to stay around with everyone else who didn't run for it the moment they were freed." The girl would then go and collect the things needed to treat the wounds she must of had. Once that was taken care of, well, Luna would begin to get organized. She wanted her things back and also wanted to speak with the slaves who didn't run right out the door. With the slavers all dead or being killed she could use these buildings, or whatever parts that aren't filled with corpses, as a home. Perhaps she, Lara, and Kitty could carve a home and life out this place along with those interested in staying.

At this point though, now that the excitement having died down, all the dead bodies and the stench of death were starting to bother her. She hadn't ever seen anything like this before in her life. The blood and gore was almost enough to make her sick. This is why she now wanted to get the hell out of this area of the slaver compound and head to another, cleaner, area as soon as possible.

And so, Luna would proceed to mend the former slavers wounds, fetch her and Lara's things, and chat with the other former slaves and seeing just what they wanted to do. After all that she would, with or without the others, get the hell away from all the dead bodies.

Now that the slaves had been freed, Luna leads the people that remained upstairs, to get their things back. Naya easily unlocked the door using a key she produced form a pocket in her robes, and the other ex-slaves got the gear they'd been captured with, said their goodbyes, and left. None of them had had any wish to remain in Artmirst any longer, so they headed toward the road out of town in a group. The only ones remaining were Luna herself, Lara, Naya, and her new Kitty.

Nayas wounds didn't prove serious, as she'd said, and she denied Lunas attempts to wrap a bandage around her neck, instead using a bit of magic to cause the bruising on her throat to fade, after which her voice returned to normal. She still seemed distant, however, and Luna got the feeling that she was unsure of what to do with herself. Naya agrees to stay with them at least for a while, and as the night falls, takes Kitty, who had been nothing but obedient, to sleep in one of the rooms that the slaves had stayed in, while Lara and Luna went into the room which the slavers had stayed in. The room had several dozen small cots in it, as well as a single, large, fluffy looking bed that seemed to have been slept on sparingly. Night was swiftly on its way, as the sun dipped down low over the Western mountain, so it was agreed that it was time for them to turn in for the day. Lara closed the door behind them, smiling, and said; "Well.... That certainly was an adventure, wasn't it?"
