Iris Status: HP = 46, P = 33, EP = 33, Grappled

The demons also begin advancing as the woman tries to limp to the side, landing on a tree stump after she falls. Iris reaches the first of the tentacled creatures, but their tentacles allow them to reach out to her to try and grab her before she can attack.

To-hit: 3 + 44 = 47 vs 38 + 8 = 46 == hit.
To-hit: 16 + 44 = 60 vs 38 = hit.

Both of the demons tentacles wrap around Iris limbs, lifting her off of the ground and thoroughly entangling her. She tries to swing her blade at the tentacles holding her.

Grapple: 14 + 48 + 3 = 65 vs 10 + 14 + 44 + 22 = 90 == Enemy wins.

Iris struggles desperately, but she is unable to move well enough to strike at the tentacles holding her. Luna, meanwhile, summons more of her dark armor as she tries to catch up to her friend, and shouts in challenge at the ogre, hoping to at least make sure that her friend only faced two opponents and not three. The ogre seems to comply, as it moves past the bound Iris toward Luna.

" Damn it..." Iris muttered to herself in an angry tone upon being grappled. She continued her desperate struggle, unable to use her sword she tried to use her strength to escape the appendages bounding her, working her hands and trying to rip them off of herself the rest of her body flailed about.

Grapple: 8 + 48 + 3 = 59 vs 17 + 12 + 44 + 22 = 95 == Enemy wins.

Iris struggles powerfully, and perhaps if it were just one of the creatures she could have freed herself, but whenever she gets a bit free of one the others grasp only strengthens, and the creatures foul tentacles begin to slide underneath her leather armor.

Grapple: 19 + 15 + 44 + 22 - 8 = 92 vs 9 + 48 + 3 = 60 == Enemy wins.

Iris once again finds herself naked as the tentacles quickly pull her clothes off, starting with her breastplate and then her pants, and then finally sliding her panties off. Her clothes are tossed aside by the creatures, and Iris is given an all too clear idea of what those tentacles are going to be doing next as several of the appendages with mushroom-like heads begin to press against her pussy and ass.

To-hit: 17 + 26 = 43 vs 25 = hit.
Damage: 3 + 10 + 6 + 6 + 4 + 11 = 40 damage.

Iris is partially released, however, as a shard of shadow strikes one of the demons holding her, hitting it square in the head. Its tentacles go limp, and perhaps now Iris will be able to free herself.

To-hit: 76 + 10 = 86 vs 28 + 12 = 40 = hit.
Damage: 4 + 40 - 12 - 1 = 31 damage.

Luna pays dearly for helping her friend, however, as her attack of the tentacled demon leaves her open for a clean hit from the ogre. It sweeps one of its massive fist toward her, connecting squarely and sending her flying aside. She lands in a heap thirty feet from her starting position, and Iris fears that her friend had been killed outright before Luna staggers to her feet, her armor having absorbed much of the blow.

When Iris saw the massive fist connect to Luna her blue eyes widened, she trembled as she saw the girl land on her back in. When she saw her friend get up however a large amount of relief washed over her. The relief was short lived, as Iris saw the ogre walking toward the girl to harm her more the white haired girl panicked. She desperately tried ripping the tendrils off, fighting to escape the demon's grasp so she could kill it and then help her friend.

(Yep, it's dead. The two tentacle monsters basically look like giant ants, three feet tall and six feet long, with 40-50 tentacles coming off of their back, most of them weapons but some of them meant for rape. The ogre's 10-12 feet tall, with long heavily muscled arms that end in claws, a pug-like head with an overbite and bull horns, and short thick legs with huge feet.)

Grapple: 2 + 48 + 3 = 53 vs 2 + 44 = 46 == Iris wins.

Iris struggles free of the creatures tentacles, falling to the ground in a roll. The tentacled creature strikes out at her with one of its appendages, this one ending in what reminds Iris of a glaive.

To-hit: 15 + 32 = 47 vs 38 = hit.
Damage: 1 + 8 = 9 damage.

The bladed appendage strikes Iris in the face, cutting a short shallow gash in her cheek that immediately begins to bleed. Iris is reminded of the loss of her armor, which now lies scattered around the field, as she recovers from the blow. It isn't very bad, and shouldn't even leave a scar, but the blow enrages Iris nonetheless.

To-hit: 7 + 26 = 33 vs 30 = hit.
Damage: 10 + 12 + 6 + 9 + 6 + 9 = 52 - 4 = 48 damage.

Luna hurls another shard of shadow at the ogre as it approaches, catching the demon squarely in the throat. If the massive beast notices the thing pierce its flesh, or its gushing blood, it doesn't show it. She backs away as it advances, leading it away from her friend, but she just barely stays out of its reach.

Iris was having bad luck with enemy's today, and it was stating to get to her. The feeling of a cut annoyed her endlessly, as well as the feeling of blood going down her cheek. She almost regretted stepping in, however, she knew it was the right thing to do. If she had walked off when the woman needed her and Luna's help she would of felt endless guilt.

She left the wound alone for now and focused on her opponent. The quicker it died, the quicker she could aid Luna, if she still needed help at that point. Instead of lunging, Iris simply took her sword and attempted to stab the beast square, hitting with her blade with one strong thrust.

Damage: 12 + 9 = 21 damage.

Her blade stabs deep into the creature, which screeches in pain once more. It doesn't fall, however, and strikes out at her once more with one of its whiplike tentacles.

To-hit: 8 + 32 = 40 vs 38 = hit.
Damage: 3 + 8 = 11 damage.

This time the creature cuts into her shoulder, though once again it's little more than a surface wound. The ogre, meanwhile, closes on Luna, and just as she is about to loose another of her attacks, its hand darts out toward her.

To-hit: 17 + 10 = 27 vs 28 + 12 = 40 == Miss.

The ogres blow doesn't connect enough to do more than push her back slightly, however, and Luna throws another pointed shard of shadow into the beast belly.

To-hit: 3 + 26 = 29 vs 30 == Miss. (Wow.)

Her attack misses, however, barely scraping across the demons side as it flies by harmlessly.

Iris let out a shriek of pain this time, her new wound hurting much more then the last. She was slow starting to feel the effects of blood lose, due to her dripping gashes. Because of this, she started to feel even angrier then before, she wanted this thing dead before it defeated her. In truth, with a few more whips, it would likely break her. Once again, Iris attacked with a strong thrust, hoping the beast would be killed with this attack.

Damage: 11 + 9 = 20 damage.

This time, her thrust finds the demons heart, or perhaps some other vital organ, as dies on her blade. As she retracts, it collapses, leaving her free to aid Luna.

To-hit: 42 + 10 = 52 vs 28 + 12 = 40 == Hit.
Damage: 3 + 40 - 12 - 1 = 30 damage.

Unbalanced from the previous attack, Luna is unable to dodge the demons follow up attack. Iris can only watch in horror as the massive creature slaps her friend aside, sending her flying away. Iris watches as Lunas armor dissipates in mid air, and sees her fall in a broken heap amidst the tree stumps thirty feet away. She skips once against the ground before landing on a tree stump, possibly unconscious, maybe even dead, but certainly wounded. The ogre turns toward Iris, wounded, but prepared to do what it had done to Luna to Iris herself.

"L-Luna..." Iris muttered to herself, her eyes wide as she shook in fear, her sword arm trembling. Her body already felt worn down and weak, it looked like one swat from that lumbering giant would knock her out. She didn't know what to do, an instinctive part of her wanted to flee, the other wanted to try and surrender, not being pounded like Luna had been. Running and attacking the beast was something she was actually feeling too afraid to do. Any burning rage she'd of felt for Luna's injury was drowned in her current fear.

As she trembled she moved away from the two dead corpses of the demons, also edging away from the ogre. Iris wanted to, but she didn't run. She didn't charge in either. Instead, she got in a defensive stance, gripping her swords hilt with both hands. Her plan was to wait for it to attack her, then focus all her energy on dodging it, then countering. She figured she had a better chance of hitting instead of charging in recklessly.

(Patience.)

The ogre lumbers toward her as she waits, growing seemingly more massive and terrible with every step toward her. The creature proves to be slow, however, and she begins to tremble as the beast to within 10 feet of her, already lifting one of its titanic fists to attack her.

Iris trembled, her heart pounding as she watched foe get closer and closer. When it got in range her blue eyes watched as the monster raise one of it's massive fists to hit her. Forgetting her plan, she acted on a fearful impulse and sprinted a few feet before learping at the ugly giant, her sword's bladed aimed for the ogre's chest area.

Damage: 9 + 9 - 4 = 14 damage.

Her blade jabs quickly into the demons chest, but if the creature notices it, it never registers to Iris.

To-hit: 15 + 10 = 25 vs 38 == Miss.

The demons fist crashes down toward her, and only her sudden dive away prevents her from being pounded into the ground. As she comes back to her feet, she sees the demon pulling its fist from a crater in the ground, giving Iris a very good idea of what would have happened had she been standing there at the time of impact.

Seeing how the punch actually made an impact in the ground and not breaking the demon's fist Iris got more frantic, her desire to kill the ogre growing, overcoming her because of the overwhelming fear she felt right now. In another attempt to kill the beast, she lept into the air at the monster, her blade not aimed to stab the chest again, but the neck of the lumbering giant.

Damage: 2 + 9 - 4 = 7 damage.

Iris leap spoils her aim, and she only just barely nicks the creatures already wounded neck. It takes the opportunity to grab at her as she lands.

To-hit: 26 + 10 = 36 vs 38 == Miss.

Iris narrowly avoids the demons grasping fingers, stumbling over a tree stump which blocks the demons reach in her near panic.

It felt like each of her blows did little to nothing on the demon. Iris was starting to want to run away instead of fighting. On an impulse, she did just that. She didn't attack the ogre again, instead she fled, running in the direction the wounded woman was, clutching her weapon tightly. During her frantic thinking, perhaps she thought the woman might be able to help, or perhaps she was just trying to get away and avoid getting punched.

The demon tries to swat at her as she runs away, but it misses by a mile. The woman, meanwhile, seems to have recovered, and takes up her sword and shield as though to attack the ogre once more.

Iris glanced to the woman, observing her. After one quick look, she turned to face to ogre once more. Her frantic state was gone due to her calming down slightly, and seeing the knight ready to attack gave her sudden confidence in winning the fight. Without word, Iris charged back at the demon once more, intent on driving her katana's blade into it's chest again.

Damage: 8 + 9 - 4 = 13 damage.

The demon roars in rage as her blade stabs in to it once more, but it doesn't get a chance to retaliate as the other women rushed back in to slash at the massive demon.

To-hit: 16 + 46 = 62 vs 30 == Hit.
Damage: 2 + 11 - 4 = 9 damage.

With a running jump, the women soars through the air and slashes across the demons torn throat, causing another gout of black blood to erupt from it. The demons roar is more of a loud gurgle this time, however, as it collapses to its knees, and then to the ground, brought down by the massive blood loss from its many wounds.

When it finally dropped down dead Iris let out a breath of great relief. Her eyes wandered around for a moment, looking about, before setting on the night she had sort of saved. " Are... Are you going to be alright? " Iris asked her, the amount of tension in her voice almost made it hard to detect the concern. Suddenly, she remembered Luna. The moment she remembered her she stuttered, " Ill, ill be right back..." before running of towards Luna. She'd drop her sword before running, and go as quickly as possible. The moment she got to where Luna is she cry her name out before picking the girl up in her arms. Holding her friend, seeing her in the state she was in would quickly bring her to tears.
