Ivy jabs both of her blades into the injured creatures side, doing some more damage. The injured creature seems to be growing tired, as does the demon who had summoned the tentacle, but they still attack her relentlessly.

Ivy once again kicks the demons leg out and slides out from under it. The demons also immediately retaliate this time, or at least the two still able to attack do so. The third can only regain its feet.

Ivy easily dodges both attacks, allowing her to square off with her opponents. It is then that she realizes that the demons are beginning to tire, their magical armor causing them to lose energy steadily.

(Same concept, but the aphrodisiac slime was too overpowered and it didn't fit the theme of the monster in this game. I might make a different version of these with the slime though, if just for the ability to actually get into somebodies pants for once. Also, I hate when I forget to delete the Grappled status.)

Her attacks are only glancing hits as the demon pulls back, but the creature who had created the tentacle suddenly ran out of steam, its armor disappearing. Rather than continue the fight, it and its companions turn and retreat.

Ivy couldn't tell if she had been spotted yet, but the trio of demons don't seem particularly concerned about it if they have managed to spot her.

Only moments later, the familiar feeling of her guide spirit in her mind returned to her, and he said; 'Ivy, you're alright! I'm sorry I left you back there, but there was really nothing I could have done after that slime hit you. I was with the girl we were here to rescue and she's fine. I left her when she was on the way to the gate once I found you up and awake.' As usual, the spirits voice was in her mind, but felt like talking to a person she was simply face to face with.

Then, before she can reply, she hears something coming through the gate behind her. Spinning quickly, her blades and body ready for a fight, Ivy lowers them when she recognizes the figure before her. His appearance the same now as it had been those centuries ago when she had first met him, Ivy certainly recognized the daemon. Matthias walked toward her calmly, his right hand slowly sliding the sword he wore at his hip back into its battered scabbard. "Hello Ivy. How do you do this fine afternoon? Or evening, I suppose." He says, his voice the same as she remembered, gravely and emotionless.

Behind him, a man with white hair steps through the gate. She doesn't recognize him, but he had the markings and stance of an experienced warrior, his two short swords held loosely in his hands. He glanced about, noticing her, but didn't say anything to her, apparently content that Matthias knew her.
