Because RockCandy dropped from the team and requested she not be in it anymore since he won't do anymore sprite work for it. Something about how no one playing her actually knows nor cares for her character bio.

Here is my experience with it.
A lot of things were improved. Amy's "Uh oh!" voice clips is now a bit less out of place, allocated to the recovery sound. I did find a glitch where Abyss made Amy say "Uh oh!" 3 times in succesion though.
Speaking of sounds, a bug kinda gave me a suggestion for an idea. I was fighting the enemies and twice, I have ran into the enemy cries being of a higher pitch than normal after beating two of them at a time. I achieved this once with the mermaids, and then with the spiders. You could use this "bug" to further diversify your enemies. (Weaker mermaids have higher pitch, etc.)
I am the only one who knows how to unlock Pumpkin Kingdom. And it involves finding Kano.
The 4.4 version incorrectly says it's 4.7 when I downloaded the folder.
I still have a small beef with Amy's horse kiss. How does kissing make a horse load off on pink hedgehogs?
The game over screens were okay. I expected Tails having a thousand mermaid eggs in his game over screen in the water stage though.
Secret Storymode Boss can one hit KO you. I know why though so that's okay. There could be like a secondary effect where the character gets turned.
I know about the emerald in the forest area, but I am still at a loss since it was introduced on how to get it. I fall past the leaf every time and fall into the pit of tentacles instead of end up in any secret area.
Bonus Stage is a great start. My only beef is that there are some points where there are minute of nothing. The transitions to the funniness should be a little shorter.
Overall, I like this update. I cannot wait to see the other updates.

Also that emerald has been moved for a few updates now. It's actually now a tree you have to break near the end of the second stage to the right of Brass the Cat getting fucked by the horse.
The secret boss does not OHKO you. You can escape out of the animation at anytime just by using the escape button.

Yeah, the bonus boss is pretty brutal and you'll be mashing D ever time she gets close to you. She's capable of killing you in a second, so you have to hammer the attack button and use your special every time she grabs you. If you wanna see the animations, you'll have to pause the game. But Zeta did say that she's gonna be added to the boss gallery in the next update.
Speaking of which, where is the boss gallery? I'm guessing I have to beat the game a few more times.
And yeah, Zu has vanished from this version, so anyone wanting to play as her should keep the old version. After reading the above posts, I can see why. Personally, I didn't use her much, but only primarily because the sound effects were way too loud. Might've used her more if she wasn't trying to make me go deaf....
If you do Stage Select and work your way back to her, you can always restart there with any character. Stage Select has its own save, seperate from the other modes, so get there with as many Continues as possible, and have fun. Just make sure to exit out by pressing Enter rather than through a Game Over, and you'll keep all your continues.

I thought Zu has been removed for a while now.
Well he entered his character into a fan game based on Sonic, a well established brand with well known characters, so his character getting left a bit on the side is to be expected. A lot of people play this solely because it's based on Sonic after all.

I'd guess that, for most people, the Sonic stuff in this game is an afterthought -- even a turn-off.
Honestly, I doubt that many people play this game as a result of the SIMILARITIES (remember, copyright problems have occurred here, so... can't be too careful) to the Sonic franchise. Granted, you only said "a lot", but I thought I'd mention this anyway.
I'd guess that, for most people, the Sonic stuff in this game is an afterthought -- even a turn-off.
