That's the last pattern. What I noticed is if you jump up immediately, she'll jump straight up as well instead of moving forward. That buys you a little time, but either she or I went down very quickly once I reached that point, so I don't have her moves countered yet.

The game runs glitch-free for me. I don't know why it works for some people but not others.

Would you mind to upload all fonts used currently by your OS?

I don't suppose anyone would be willing to just put together a video of each of the defeats?

You can see .png frames from .actbin file by using Dragon UnPACKer also.

Downloaded latest stable version of DUP and tried opening the actbin file only to get the error message "no driver could load this file." Renaming the actbin to something that didn't have Japanese characters seems to have fixed it.

I couldn't get the game to work either without it looking all glitchy either, no matter what fix I tried. I'm running vista basic (SP2).

Was able to Unpack it, and see the pngs, and it looks great, but sadly, I think you lose a lot not seeing it in motion.

Maybe there is a compatibility problem with certain operative systems.

Yes well, I'm using win 7 professional x 64, no problems. The interesting thing is that the filename fonts are all wrong. like ùáüDâJâCé¦û`î»ü@âGâèâA1ü@âXâëâCâÇâXâeü[âW

Still, just clicking on the exe makes it work. No computer genius here so no idea why or how. I don't have any Japanese settings or anything, just regular English.

Rin Umiko, you should open .actbin (renamed copy of-course) in HyperRipper. Then check PNG format in 'Formats' tab, then press 'Search' in 'Search' tab.

Well, I have to say this game does fit into that whole "retro" catagorey, but there's a reason why they stopped making games like that...

And while I can deal with dying countless times from poor timing and unknown things popping out, I absoloutely cannot stand this whole "random % for enemy death" it's like playing DnD except I can't build a char that has extra + to hit to compensate for my horrible luck. Somebody should probably inform this guy that a set number of hits to defeat an enemy would make this game = win!

Also fighting the boss's second form is a nightmare, he needs to fix the air-fireball so that it can be used even when you're off screen. Other than those couple of things this game is fairly managable once you've gotten the hang of it... or somebody writes a guide (thanks btw, would've never figured out the drips without you guys )

For those of you who find this game frustrating or are just otherwise lazy, I'm reassembling some gif animations of the death scenes, mainly for my own sake, but I'll share through PM if asked. However, as I understand it, the creator is not fond of his work being messed with, so while what I'm doing is probably bad enough, I'll have to ask you guys not to go crazy with sharing stuff from this game, specifically in any way that may encourage someone to recompile the elements into a game of their own.

Edit: Making these animations is kind of fun, except for the boss...

How to beat room 3 slime pits.
First jump, after exiting door: just walk straight off, don't stop moving forward.
Second jump, on first platform: walk straight off.
Third jump, on mini stairs. Double jump to platform with key.
Fourth jump, on platform with key: dash off the edge and avoid the dripper on the edge.
Fifth jump, on low down platform: double jump up.
Done.

Good thing you said something. I was considering it after seeing the Ki sprites in Sex Mugen. However, I couldn't find the creator of this game anywhere to confirm if they were usable (with credit) or not. Id like a copy of those gif animations though. What program do you use to make sprite sheets into a gif? The old version of GM used to make animated sprites into gifs but they never seemed to play correctly.

Creator is Dru, he is on sun-aegis. Site blocked all non-jap IPs, because foreigners proved to be nothing but annoyance in the past. There is no permission, in fact game itself comes with text file that explains that. Link to update was hard to get as it was, so I hope no one will encourage them to make it even harder by stealing his work.

That's the gist of it. I want everyone to see and enjoy the work that he put into the game, even if the game is too frustrating to play for some of us. So please use the gifs only for your own viewing...uh, pleasure?

I could try spoofing to a jap IP if you'd give me the address, unless someone's already tried and it doesn't work. Though I won't be able to read it... so it'll take alot of time. I'm a lurker by nature so I won't be causing any trouble on their website.

I would like to see how the gifs turn out as well. Unable to play the game, the pngs alone were more of a tease if nothing else. Might be better to upload them onto Megashare just because I'm sure people will be frustrated with it either not working (my case) or it just being to difficult to see the ends otherwise (everyone else).

hooooookay, that was quite a bit of work for... nothing, the only thing even mildly interesting was a file on some japanese filesite that I can't figure out how to access, and the only reason why it's interesting is because I can't access it!

If anyone that can read japanese is willing to take a crack at it? It needs some kind of keyword to allow the file to download, but I can't figure out what the keyword is using any translater.

Edit: Also found some files hosted on the actual site, seem to be just mugen char updates... if anyone could point me in the direction of where THIS game actually came from I'd be grateful
