No, just being wrong makes you wrong. The person who locked it away didn't lock it away as a marketing ploy. They spent a lot of time and work into making it. These efforts are rewarded by what, exactly? Not you. Why? Because it's "low value." Who decided this? You did. Not society. You. And by the way, even you said low value, not no value. They are protecting their property, and you are using the inevitable of a portion of the market to describe why the author is wrong.
Most sane and rational people steal these games know they're in the wrong doing so, but you have managed to justify yourself by projecting the anger outward, at the very source of what you are trying to take. You realize you can use your same reasoning for everything right? Musicians get their music stolen, why do they bother selling? People boost cars all the time, why do dealerships bother to try? People die, why is killing them illegal? If 'social' is a positive term, why is everyone concerned about me being a sociopath?
