Thanks. I've noticed a bug in the partial translation. The name under the hero's health bar keeps switching to the other titles. I don't know when this game will be fully translated.

My reasoning behind that is to avoid work, I didn't want to have to upload a new version if/when it got translated.
If you PM me a link of what files you want modified I'd be happy to sort that out, although you'd have to share that around because I really can't be bothered modifying my thread for minor changes.

Yo, guys, sorry for the absence. I ran out of steam, and don't really want to translate stuff right now (and probably won't start feeling like doing it anytime soon). If anyone wants to pick the translation up - I can pass them the files. If not, I'll do it myself when I'm in the mood.

There is a partial translation for Overthrow! The Demon Queen (English name per dlsite) in ShinVeritas' pack located

I'm willing to try putting a translated version or "Overthrow!" together -- Google Translate seems to give the gist of what's going on... I'll use that as a baseline to work from.

That being said -- I could use some help figuring out WHERE the text is that needs to be translated.

I grabbed a copy of JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler, and started opening the individual swf files to see how things were laid out. I'm trying to start with sub\end_maou.swf -- that file has the scene you get if you win three fights without raping her.

I found a lot of the dialogue for that scene by navigating to scripts -> end_maou_fla -> MainTimeline. I've started replacing the Japanese text in there with the Google translations, but I can only find the dialogue from the beginning and end of the scene. The actual intercourse dialogue is not in there. Any ideas where I should look to find that?

So... it looks like the bulk of the dialogue is in cou1.swf and cou2.swf. I'm wrestling with ytinasni's translator utility, but should have an initial, hilariously confusing "machine translated" version out within a few days.

I have a newfound apprecation for the amount of work JSK put into these games! Hundreds of lines of dialogue... and SO many different variations of ways of writing "Ooohhhh".

Here's a quick progress update...

I'm working from the version that madman3237 provided in post 2341. The dialogue to be translated is split up into ten separate swf files (the ones in the "sub" folder). There are a lot of duplicate lines between the files, but here's a quick count of the number of lines that need translation in each file:

cou1: 262
cou2: 278
end_dorei: 161
end_inran: 181
end_maou: 162
end_rape: 311
fera: 244
kijyou: 339
kouhai: 315
seijyou: 313

Total: 2566!

I'd estimate that I'm currently about 10% done. Things should go more quickly now that I've got a handle on ytinasni's translator utility. The "hilarious" Google translations are pretty awful. Many of the random moaning "sounds" are getting translated into words like schoolmate and nitrous. My favorite translation so far? "Molecular species"! I think it's supposed to be sperm.

I don't have a work-in-progress version to share... since I have to juggle ten files, it takes a long time to build. I'll keep working, though!
