Alright, clearly having the whole game unlocked is tolerable but I suppose maxing out stats and such defeats the purpose of the game.
If the translator hands me the SWFs for uncensoring only I can include the save patch as a separate file.

For those that have already beaten the game before, the max stats et al is a blessing. For those few that haven't, not so much. You did good but your new solution is even better.

sadly deleting it is not helping, it always comes back:/

Alrighty I was able to reset all the states but not the unlocked scenes by deleting the file called "save_data_daimaou.sol" in the file location mentioned.

It seems the Healing skill is Mislabeled as the Sacrifice Dead blow. Also it seems to me like alot of the dialog is misplaced. She often says something at times that do not make sense to me, then again its quite possible that its just me

Hi all,

I have an early Christmas present for you. Here's the first release of an uncensored, translated version of "Overthrow! The Demon King".


There's a few places where I put a [TRANSLATED] label before a line of dialog. Those lines are the Google-translated versions of lines that I couldn't figure out. If you come across one, send me a PM with some details (the lines before/after, steps to get to that same dialog again, etc.).

Feel free to PM me if you come across any typos or grammatical problems, too!

Click on the scales on his post and you will get a pop-up. You can not give repeat up reps to same person without giving some to others.

Thanks to everyone who has sent PMs with corrections. I'm incorporating them into my translation files.

There were a few typos in the menus and pre-battle dialogue that were bothering me, so I updated those before I released the first version... but now I've lost the file I used for those particular corrections.

By popular demand, I'm going to go back to the original censored version and apply my translations there. I'm considering redoing the translations of the menus and pre-battle dialogue as well (since I didn't do them in the first place, and in some cases, they don't match the "style" I went with for the translations).

After I've released a translation of the original version, I'm sure EmmGee or somebody else can uncensor it.

With Christmas coming up, it will probably take me a little bit of time to release anything new. Feel free to PM any other corrections that you come across in the meantime!

You must be registered to see the links

is valid and Mega one of the most reliable upload sites around. Did you erase the space in url? Fooligan put space in as he does not have 15 posts yet and can't "post" urls.

Then again, Mega works best with Chrome and does occasionally have temporary problems.

After I've released a translation of the original version, I'm sure EmmGee or somebody else can uncensor it.

I was absolutely sure that the first version would be unsatisfactory somehow which is exactly why I had someone else upload it.

All the games have some type of English translation, but 打倒！大魔王様/ Overthrow! The Demon Queen is still a work in progress and the re-translation/clean up of 打倒!魔王娘/ Daughter of the Defeated Devil has stalled.

There's a reason why I put my translations in spoiler tags, to cut down on the possible walls of text posts; And even though it sounds like all progress on that 1st new game stopped and switched to this magical girl game, maybe he's going to release it alongside the 2nd game as a "LOL, surprise, you get another game" moment

To be honest the magical girl ( with gray hairs ) look 2 times better with a fight game and a sexier girl than another Shion type like which was nice but not 2 times. Even if the girl with short hair is not that sexy ( not at all tbh

Sure if you want to take the time to write it all out, go for it. I'd love to be able to know what these devs are saying...but sadly I know pretty much no written Japanese...other than a little Romaji.
