Having sex with enemies could never be used to your advantage, though, or as a means of attack, nor did being corrupted or not corrupted grant you any abilities. (besides healing when pressing down over villagers, which could be done from the beginning anyway)

Why having sex with enemies could never be used to your advantage? How about a mechanic where after you're corrupted you can have sex with enemies if you bring down their hp to a "last hit before death" as a finishing attack for a small heal or just for the looks.

The important thing here is are you willing to do it? We could always provide ideas. And how is it easier to do in a level game ?

WHAT A HORRIBLE NIGHT TO HAVE A RAPE.

Too bad about the light\dark mechanic though. I really was looking forward to a platformer where YOU rape something. HS did deliver, but the h-content is meh it still is a very good game though.

The important thing here is are you willing to do it? We could always provide ideas. And how is it easier to do in a level game ?

If it's a reward system based on having sex as much as possible/ avoiding it, then the reward would come at the end of the level based on performance in that level. In a metroidvania that can't be done. If corruption actually did something in nightmare sphere (like grant abilities), it would be too easy to raise it and get the perks early, because you could just backtrack and grind.

As for whether or not I'm planning on doing it, no. This one's just gonna be the basics.

I thought the light and dark magic orb were stronger and weaker depending on how corrupted you were.

While true, you don't get them until well near the end of the game, so the overall usefulness is reduced considerably. (I usually had her Str. maxxed so my melee hits were doing more damage anyways)

The Dark ord sucked life off the enemies if i remember correctly, all hail the dark orb!!!

It also corrupts you a little with each hit, just as the light orb purifies you. Not much an issue if your going for the corrupt end, but otherwise...

Hmmm...I'm trying to figure out if I should do tilesets in photoshop or make everything pixel art. I'm not sure if the pixel art sprites would fit the style, but doing it in photoshop is a hell of a lot faster.

On a side note, I started some songs for the game. These are the only ones that are long enough to post, though.

You can just use the file converter to cut out some moans from some jap porno.

Oooor, you could do the moans then alter the pitch and what have you in FL Studio to make it sound feminine. May be a bit odd, but it's a suggestion.
