Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

I gave up on Serpento Hides, it is just not feasible to farm the last piece needed with its horrible availability.

What drops Ragnarok Hides?
I see. I hope that'll change with Ep 3, else there'll be a huge gap between the characters in term of equipment.

Ragnarok Hides are dropped by Garbage Breaths, the rare monster variation of the Slimebags in the canal below Grand Aideen. Drop chance isn't the best though...

Greystone Ruins, within the area, (I think ~3 Screens down from the northern world map entrance), there's a fork, take the right (~NE) path to get to the Neverless Canyons (the bridge to the Neverless Canyons area is blocked by a repair man until a certain point in the game), you'll find Gabe's Home there, the legendary too, and maybe some other stuff-hidden chests as well.

Neverless Canyons is within or a part of the Greystone Ruins area.

Swamp of Sorrows is within or a part of the Echo Forest area.

and there might be a few more...
i cant find Greystone Ruins in Echo Forest. or was i misunderstanding u?

The sprint function is a buyable reward from the prostitution minigame found at the Grand Aideen brothel.
Also at Gnoll's trade in Nazadina and at your home after you pay 50PP(?) and move it there - much faster to rank them up...

Greystone Ruins is in southern Namaria between Rockguard village and the shores/Breeze woods. The swamp is in Echo forest in north-central Namaria...

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

I somewhat doubt that considering that losing the drinking game would, if I remember correctly, grant you -1.

Then again, I believe I got a -1 from her by not resisting arrest in the very early part of Castle Rasteed, meaning it should be entirely possible to get the scene.
Thankfully I got the scene, since I got worried when someone said you have to start all over again if you didn't win the drinking contest.

Also another question:

Does anyone know how to give the letter to the girl the guy in solheim is looking for. I followed the suggestions, and supposedly she's in baltera village, but I still can't find her.

i cant find
Aero Mistress: Far East end of Neverless Canyon.

lol maybe little stupid. but i cant find the neverless canyon. or the house of gabe

Neverless canyon is above greystone ruins. When you follow the path north from there (greystone ruins), there are two intersections: The left/west path takes you to rockguard village and the other takes you to neverless canyon. Gabe's house is also in neverless canyon.

There's a white cat in Baltera Village which belongs to that girl. If you have ribbon of speech you can talk to it and it'll let you know that the girl departed to rockgaard (she's near warden's tower).

Greystone Ruins is the path you take to get to Rockguard village. If you leave Castle Resteed and go West, go past the Tower of Illumi and take the next road that goes North, you will enter Greystone Ruins. You will pass through a few frames of a destroyed village (there are a number of houses in here that have cellars with stuff in them, but that's not important right now). Once you are past the ruins, you will eventually come to a fork in the road. Left is takes you North to Rockguard and right takes you East to Neverless Canyon. Take the road to the right. You will go through a few frames with mushrooms and mischief makers. If you come to a big bridge and run into a construction worker who will not let you continue further, there are other quests out there in the world that you have to do first before that bridge opens and you can go further and find Gabe's house and the Aero Mistress.

@Freek,

my bad, for causing confusion, see below:

Ghost Creek is right after Castle Rasteed (on the left side of it) on the world map, near the sea to the south. I can't remember if it was before the place you go to reach Baltera Village or not, but I'm pretty sure it's more or less straight south from the Alchemist Tower.

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

Ghost Creek is the Boat on the World Map just west (and south - on the coast) of Castle Resteed, East of Namaria Shores-Beltera Village, and South of the Tower of Illumi (Alchemist's Tower).

--------

just follow the roads on the world map... for finding the World Map areas (with the exception being the hidden Monk's Training Ground, and whatever-where ever the other hidden place is, it's likely to NOT be in Namaria, as the Achievement says WORLD, whereas the achievement for the Monks Training Ground says NAMARIA, so maybe the other place is in the Frozen Continent... or it is somewhere else which will come about in E3)

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

You're taking the riddle a bit too literally.

SPOILER (Highlight to show)
"the ocean" refers to the pool of water in the center of the room. Walk along the lines in the floor around the pool and you'll activate four floor panels when you step on them, and the door will open.
END SPOILER
This does not seem to work on the new version either part 1 or part 2, quote is nowhere to be found, there is no pool of water into temple of sun, I tried circling around the edge but nothing happened, can anyone help , I am unable to enter past iron gate. thank you

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

there are pressure plates you need to step on, they're not right on the circumference of the pool

just divide the room into a grid and start walking and you'll step on them

Thanks:eek: but I must be missing something else, I walked all over the room and nothing happened.

Ok I finally got it, thanks for the help

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

i really regret leveling my blacksmith up too far...the only things he can make now are meteorite and serpento gear...and it's ridiculously annoying to try and farm serpento hides...and the meteorite drops are frustratingly hit or miss...

stupid RNG's

at least i get to grind out some levels lol...need more game to play, or more tower of despair...something

Re: The Legend of Queen Opala 2

Trying to get the Titanium from Goblins, the Marble from the Seductresses, and the Broncallo Hides from the Broncallos for the Titanium and Broncallo Equipment is also very annoying-long-painstaking too :p (This was before E2 came out with the newer Equipment and the materials for it)

Go to blacksmiths in various villages. They will be of a lower skill than the one from your estate. I think, for instance, the blacksmith in Tel Ravida is capable of smithing the Platinum/Diamond tier of items.

You could just farm Snake hides (Giga Lardo, I believe) for the mages. As for Meteorite, it is fairly easy to get. It takes some farming, but if you look at it this way, it is good experience and gold for when you start New Game+. :)

That said, I was fully decked out in Titanium when I started Episode 2. My healer was 2 pieces Broncallo and one Bear, but that was not a major problem since he uses the Boots of Nabonaga to be the team's most defensive character. He's in 2x Serpento, 1x Snake now and I'm fine with that, Gin'Yen barely takes damage regardless.
The other 3 party-members are decked in mostly Meteorite with some Quartz. I intend to farm Meteorite eventually, but I am just too lazy. I have most of it though, which is a plus. The thing is, you just do not need it. Titanium was enough to zerg through everything through Episode 2, and I don't really care much about Meteorite when I know I can grab Moonstone in Episode 3 (and New Game+ items beyond that), so Meteorite/Quartz is enough for now. You can't defeat Nabonaga, so no need to have major gear, and considering I zerged through Tower of Despair through floor 40 with no problems whatsoever, I find Meteorite to hardly be a necessity. I'm pretty sure that, if power levels rise as they have previously, I can clear the game easily as I am now and probably get past floor 70 of Tower of Despair once released. :/
